I’ve used this in the past, very good, make sure the radiator is cold before applying.

MG ZS Hybrid+ is available from £499 As @Abercol suggests the electric version is being replaced with the MGS5 and yet to join the scheme
You are right, my mistake… My only concern over this model is the 3 speed automatic gearbox? Anyone got experience of this?
We had an MG ZS Trophy Hybrid+ for 10 days as a hire car when our Grandland was in for repair, it was a nice car, easy to drive and good on fuel. You don’t notice any engine noise when driving under normal conditions in fact it’s very quiet and smooth even when the engine kicks in. However if you go up an hill and put your foot down the engine revs quit high as if it’s not got enough gears, the best thing to do is test this when you have your test drive, we had the car in February and it only had 192 miles on the clock so I assume it was the latest version.
The things I did not like are the steering wheel has rake but no reach adjustment, the drivers display has limited display options with the digital speedo being in the top left had corner and can be difficult to see especially given the limited steering wheel adjustment. The radio can be muted but not turned off, you have to turn off the car open the door and then lock the car before it turns off. The sound system also sounded a bit ‘tinny’ to me so I tried to find the graphic equaliser to adjust the sound but there isn’t one so you are stuck with the sound as it is, there is also no balance/fader adjustment for the speakers.
Some of the exterior lights are halogen not LED, there is no arm rest or cup holders in the rear, all that said is still a nice car especially for the price, if you’re still having the test drive tomorrow you will be able to look at these things and decide if they are important to you.
Are you aware that MG are, supposedly, bringing out a Hybrid+ in the HS model, it should have been out in Q1 2025, but I’ve not heard anything yet.

On one occasion the dealer rang me a couple of weeks before my renewal date to make the arrangements and told me my renewal date fell on a Saturday and they did not deliver at weekends, I told him okay I’ll have it delivered on the Friday then, to which I was told my renewal date is not until the day after so it could not be delivered on the Friday.

These pies are good, short crust pastry and microwavable from frozen in 4 minutes. You would think the microwave would make the pastry go soggy but it does not, they also do chicken.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.MG HS is currently only available as petrol or PHEV, however MG are launching a self charging hybrid in the first quarter of 2025 so anytime soon. If it comes onto the scheme it sould be cheaper than the PHEV so may be one to consider.

If you do want to do it yourself B&Q do it for £11.99 but wear old clothes and shoes and if you spill it on the floor wash it off immediately, it dries as a white crust, also be aware that after top up the car will take time and a few miles to register the addition of the adblue.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.I don’t understand how this can happen, Derby Council would have contacted DVLA to find out who was responsible for the car at the time, and with the DVLA data being out of date would have been given Motability’s details, who in turn should have given the council the dealerships details not Retro89’s.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.I’m on Asda/Vodafone and my indoor signal has badly deteriorated over the last 6-9 months, so much that almost every call indoors drops at some point. If I go outside it’s better. I’ve had to change mobiles to one that has WiFi calling, that helps but there’s no way to set it to only use it so it keeps going back to the useless mobile signal and dropping calls. I’ve also tried an O2 Sim with the same results. Both their coverage checkers say I should have no problems, however, using the Ofcom checker it says all four networks are “Limited” for indoors. I’ve ordered an EE Sim from 1p for £1 to try, not that I’m expecting an improvement but you never know.
Have you tried WhatsApp, you can make WiFi calls using that, I think the recipient needs to have the app as well though.

From memory you have an iPhone, go to Settings-General-About and scroll down to Network Provider Lock and it should say ‘No SIM restrictions’ next to it if your phone is unlocked.
If your happy with the coverage that you get from O2 then it’s worth remembering that giff gaff, Tesco Mobile and Sky Mobile all use the O2 network.
Also if you want to keep you number you’ll have to arrange that as well, because if you just install a new SIM you’ll also have a new number.

I’ve never made a claim in over 40 years of driving, but when I retired 2 years ago and handed my company car back the best I could get was 1 years no claims bonus as a gesture of good will. Thinking about it though I hadn’t had a car insurance policy in my name for 22 years.

Try paying the Darford toll charge, if you enter your reg number it will come up as exempt from the charge if it disabled tax class as the crossing is free.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.You can use the iTunes app on a Windows PC, I use it for my iPhone and also for two iPods that I use to stream music from, just tell the app where the mp3 files are and it will add the ones you choose to the library the music does not have to be purchased from apple, then you can sync your phone with iTunes via a lightning cable.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.@cheeseontoast The MPG display is instantaneous MPG not average, if you are stationary or even going down hill it will be blank, try driving the car with that display on. The time stopped is the amount of time the engine has stopped with the stop start system during the trip. There is no average millage, trip time or even trip millage displays on the car, they are all on the app which may or may not work, I think it depends on which way the wind is blowing.
As for the boot floor it’s best described as laughable, it has to be seen to be believed, I’ve read on other forums where people have bought a piece of plywood and cut it to size and used that.

Wales have a similar minimum pricing system to Scotland where alcohol has to be sold at a minimum price per unit and as @blackj says its pure profit not tax.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.@MFillingham I used to have BUPA free as part of my pay some years ago when I worked for an American Insurance company, it seems to be common with American company’s. You’ll have to check about pre existing conditions, the health care, if free, will be taxed as a benifit in kind, BIK, so you may end up paying tax on something that’s no use to you. You can of course decline the health care.
@Gee It’s not worth lying to your insurers, they don’t check when you buy the policy but they will check if there is to be a payout.
