When I had an MOT last year I took the car to the dealers and it failed on a tyre, the dealer told me to collect the car and take it to Kwik Fit and then return it to the dealer with a new tyre. The guy in Kwik fit told me if I had taken it to them for the MOT it would have saved all the hassle.

It was an interesting group table that included the then world champions Brazil, Yugoslavia, Scotland and Zaire. All three teams beat Zaire with all other games ending in draws. So Yugoslavia, Brazil and Scotland all ended up on 4 points, 2 points for a win in those days. It boiled down to how many goals did you put past Zaire, Yugoslavia beat them 9-0, Brazil beat them 3-0 and Scotland beat them 2-0. Only the top two teams progressed so Scotland ended up third on goal difference by one goal.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.The wheel fits in the boot, I can’t get the poly insert in though, but the boot floor fits on both the upper and lower levels. I’ll just keep the insert in the garage untill lease end. I’ve not actually tried the space saver on the car yet though. This is on the self charging hybrid Hyundai Tucson, I don’t know if it will fit the plug in.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.Finally got the space saver today it was supposed to be delivered last Monday 1st June, but it was stuck in customs waiting to be inspected, it only came from West Bromwich. I raised a ticket with DHL on the 2nd June to ask why it had not been delivered, they answered on the morning of the 3rd of June to say it had been lost and I should contact the seller.
However I received an email overnight in the early hours on the 3rd June, a few hours before they told me it had been lost that it will be delivered on 3rd June the parcel was being scanned and the tracking updated so it could not have been lost. No parcel on the 3rd nor the 4th, but the tracking was still saying it will be delivered on the 3rd, maybe it’s being delivered by TARDIS, so on the afternoon of the 4th I went into the tracking and arranged for me to go to the DHL depot and collect it myself on the 5th, the seller is less than 5 miles from me but the DHL depot is more than 25 miles away but I was okay with collecting it.
Next DHL did an intervention on the tracking with my collection being cancelled and that DHL would deliver on the 5th with the option for me to collect being removed, nothing arrived on the 5th, tracking was updated to say the parcel had been delayed due to packaging possibly damaged.
On the first contact from DHL saying the parcel has been lost it said if I had any further problems there was no need to open a new ticket but just to reply to the email, so I replied asking why they think West Bromwich is a foreign country, why they thought the parcel was lost and for them to explain what packaging possibly damaged means, telling them it’s either damaged or not. The email bounced back as their mail box is full.
So I opened a new ticket, again asking the above but adding that must have a lot of complaints but they are not reading or monitoring that mail box I’m still waiting for a reply.
Meanwhile the seller, who has been very good, was asked by DHL to tell them what was in the packaging, they apparently do this when the parcel is lost and gives them an idea what size and shape the missing parcel is to help them find it.
I spoke to the seller this morning, he was very apologetic, I pointed out to him that it was not his fault and I asked if I could call in today to collect a replacement for the missing items, he was happy to agree, and I collected about half an hour later.
The seller told me the wheel will fit in the wheel well and I would still be able to fit the boot floor in no problems, he even offered to do it for me but I told him it was okay. I’ll try to put some pictures on tomorrow with the wheel in place.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.I spoke to the seller on the phone this morning, he asked me to email the order and tracking numbers and my name and post code and that he would chase it up. I’ve also rang DHL and after putting in all the numbers of the tracking and post code on my phone key pad I got an automated reply the my parcel is on hold, with no explanation as to why and no opportunity to ask a real person why.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.I ordered the space saver wheel on Friday morning, DHL messaged me within a couple of hours that they were expecting my parcel, and then later the same day that they had collected the parcel and that it would be delivered today, Monday. Got a message this morning saying my parcel had been put on hold and then later my parcel is ‘Held at inbound gateway’
So I’ve copied and pasted what this means as follows:-
Held at inbound gateway means your package has arrived in your destination country and is currently stopped at a major DHL sorting facility for customs clearance. The package is temporarily paused while border officials inspect it or process necessary import fees.
Now the seller is based in West Bromwich, opposite the Albion ground, I only live a few miles away and the parcel has not crossed a local council boundary never mind an international border. Unless West Bromwich have gained independence without me noticing.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.That brilliant, my advice never never tow without a spare wheel, do you have RAC Arrival it £65 to mobility customers, they usually offer it before renewal for £54/55. To be honest I would not drive without a spare.
Just to clarify, we weren’t towing, our caravan is a static. I think the RAC Arrival covers your car and a towed caravan, is that correct?

No I’ve not complained to motability as yet.
I’ve just been to my local Hyundai supplying dealer to ask if motability will pay for a new bottle of gunk and I was told they will need vehicle reg, milage and a picture of the gunk being used, I did not think of taking a picture. But they said they would request payment from motability but in any case there is no gunk in the country and also none enroute, stating it’s possibly stuck in the Straight of Hormuz..
I also enquired about buying a space saving spare and was told they don’t make them anymore and haven’t done so for a number ot years.
