Yes the Live TV button isn’t much good, you’re probably best downloading the Freeview app to your phone or tablet and using that.

The app links any freeview iplayers you have on your phone and when a program is chosen in the guide it automatically opens the appropriate iplayer and starts playing either live or as catchup.
You can also just browse the guide and then use your fire stick.

Exactly this, I was done for 37 in a 30 about 6 years ago, in a company car and did the speed awareness course.
It looks like what has happened here is the police know the car was doing 37 in a 30 but don’t know who was driving so sent the NIP to motability as the car belongs to them. They would have given the police your details so the police have contacted you, you need to return the form with the details of who was driving the car at the time.
The police will then send you a letter giving you three options, £100 fine and 3 points, a speed awareness course, cost me £90 six years ago, and no points or deny speeding and have your day in court.
Don’t tell anyone yet as there has been no admittance of guilt, 6 years ago you did not need to notify your insurer if you did the course because you had no points, though this could have changed so it’s best to check.

I actually saw the Openreach workers putting the fibre cables in to the telegraph poles on our street so knew it was available. I’d been a BT customer for years ending up with fibre to cabinet however they kept hiking the prices and I ended up paying £76 a month, BT adding BT Sport, something I never watched or asked for, and also some add ons to the land line phone that I didn’t have plugged in.
I went online to change my contract but it would not let me choose a fibre to cabinet contract I could only choose full fibre, I rang them up and they told me as full fibre was in my area I could not have fibre to cabinet and would have to swap to full fibre. I then read about Vodafone Essentials and went for that but they also told me I could not have fibre to cabinet and explained that my copper land line would be disconnected. It’s £12 a month for 12 months and you can cancel at any time, when the 12 months is up, I think, you have to resubmit your NI number so they can check you are still in receipt of any of the qualifying benefits. Our 12 months is up early December and it’s still available and still £12 a month. You can pay £20 a month for faster speeds, for £12 a month it’s 38 Mbps I check the speed regularly and it’s normally around 37 Mbps I’ve never seen it below 36 Mbps. I posted the link for Vodafone earlier in this thread.

That is not true, it is optional at this stage as not all ISPs offer VOIP on their networks and the copper switch off is happening in phases and will be running into 2025. Also, the service you have is not “Full Fibre”, it’s a broadband package that is Fibre between exchange and cabinet, then copper from cabinet to your property.
It is true, we were with BT before and had fiber to cabinet, as you say the copper switch off is happening in phases, it’s already happened in our area. Anyone with existing copper can stay as they are, but anyone switching or even getting a new contract with their current supplier must have fiber to premises, if full fiber is in their street, and have their copper connection disconnected, I asked both BT and Vodafone if we could just stay as we were but they both said no.
Openreach came round and fitted the new fibre cable, I actually footed the ladder while it was fitted, the fiber cables were fitted to the telegraph poles in our street a couple of months before.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.I also need to add, if you have full fiber to house you land phone line is disconnected, you can plug your phone into your router and keep the same number but your calls are made over the Internet so if you have a power cut you won’t have a phone. We’ve not got a phone plugged in so it makes no difference to us.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.We have had Vodafone for almost 12 months now on their essentials tariff £12 a month for 38mbps full fibre to house and is fast enough for us, you can get Fibre 2, 73mbps for £20 a month. The essentials tariff is available to anyone who claims certain benefits including PIP, we have had no problems and get the speeds quoted.

Yes I thought Niro was noisy but there isn’t much in it compared to my Chr ! So how much total in £££s on the above would I save in 3 years ?
The Niro has a 64.8kWh battery. To calculate cost to charge to 100% you multiply the battery size x electricity cost per kWh (0.075). 64.8 x 0.075 = £4.86 to charger Kia claim 287 miles from a full charge so 3600/287*4.86 = £61 So theoretically it will cost you £61 over 3yrs at 100 miles per week. In the real word it will average out at around 260 mile’s per full tank of juice because, as we know with petrol cars WLTP figurers arent accurate. Based on this and charging from home you will have change from £100 ? *There is another way of calculating based on miles per Kwh (mpkWh) you get but, its not woth going into now and the majority of time you will be charging up to 80 to 90%. There are othe EV’s on the scheme with a similar range that are equally as good if not better ?
Should that not read 100 miles a month? 100 miles a week would be:
15600/287*4.86 = £264.17 at 100 miles per week for 156 weeks.

I refused the car and made the change to a Toyota Corolla TS and have loved every single minute of the car. Economy is in a completely different league to the ones you mentioned. I’m almost ready to change and my average fuel use for just under three years is 59 mpg and I live in a very hilly part of Derbyshire. There’s no Corolla TS on the Motability list at the minute but I’m sure they’ll be back soon.
Agreed, I had a Toyota Corolla TS GR Sport as a company car before I retired last year, probably the best car I’ve ever had and as you say the mpg is incredible. The Suzuki Swace is still on the scheme though and is virtually the same car though I don’t think the Swace is as well speced.

You can use the included cigarette lighter power cable or buy a hard wire kit, none original one £6.99 eBay, but be aware the dash cam is 5 volts, the cigarette lighter cable and the hard wire kit both have built in transformers, 12 volt in and 5 volt out.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.I have a Nextbase 422GW front and rear widow dashcam, very easy to hard wire using a piggy back fuse on our private car it can also easily be removed with out any trace of it ever being fitted. The 422GW comes with a built in battery, to make use of the parking feature, I could be wrong but I thought all Nextbase dash cams had built in batteries.

The company car tax on a BEV was zero a couple of years back, there is some tax now but it is very low. I had a company car until I retired 18 months ago, Toyota Corolla GR Sport estate 1800 hybrid, I was sad to see it go when I retired. Just after I left, the company car scheme was changed, employees can now only have a BEV or a plug in hybrid, you can’t have the Corolla anymore, and I think this is getting more common with other employers, so many company car drivers don’t have the option of an ICE.
Some of it I’m sure is some companies like to virtue signal how great they are or it could be they are afraid of being cancelled by the mob.

My car SEAT Ibiza SE Tec 1.2 petrol TSI 2017.Strange one from Shell Energy, we got no notification of a direct debit reduction following the recent price cuts. We had a fixed rate tariff that ended some time back and automatically got put on the Shell Flexible 11 tariff, there were no fixed rate tariffs at the time. The Shell Flexible 11 tariff is a variable rate tariff with no end date. When I went online and had a look the prices had not been reduced, there was a note on the home page though that read
‘From Sunday 1st October the price of energy changes for customers who are on a standard variable tariff. We regularly update your tariffs page with our latest launches’.
It appears that Shell Flexible 11 is still at the old prices, which makes a mockery of the fact it’s supposed to be a variable rate tariff, you can switch to the latest launched Shell Flexible 12, this tariff charges the new cheaper rates and is also a variable rate tariff with no end date. But if you are not aware of this you will still be paying the old prices, you just have to log in and choose the new tariff. It’s out of order by Shell really, for me the new prices are £164.16 a year cheaper.

Your fire stick has bluetooth so you would be able to connect that to a bluetooth enabled sound bar, it will only work when using your fire stick though.
Do you have an Hi-Fi system, some are bluetooth enabled and you could use that.

Look at the cheapest and make sure the cover is like for like then ring your current provider and ask them to match it, if not then move to the new provider.
