The Firestick Max is currently on offer at £45 and the normal 4k is £35 with the standard HD at £25. I’ve just ordered the Max. I’ve got a first generation one and it’s so slow it unusable, always take it on holiday with us.
Does anyone know if you can get the Freeview EPG on it?

I had my ‘Max’ delivered yesterday. Absolutely fantastic bit of kit, super fast and could not be happier.

I’m still playing around with the ambience screen saver.

Sorry missed your last question, It has a live tv button but it is linked to the apps and bbc do not play nor do Channel 4, it’s a bit pointless really lots of amazon tv channels.

My two amazon fire sticks I’ve had over 2 years best things I ever bought bbc iPlayer itv x all 4 so handy if I’m out or miss a programme mine were £20 each then

Yes the Live TV button isn’t much good, you’re probably best downloading the Freeview app to your phone or tablet and using that.

The app links any freeview iplayers you have on your phone and when a program is chosen in the guide it automatically opens the appropriate iplayer and starts playing either live or as catchup.

You can also just browse the guide and then use your fire stick.

Freeview isn’t an official app on firesticks.

you have 2 options depending on what you bought the firestick for:

1 – Sideload Freeview onto the firestick effectively jailbreaking it (cough) and download the appropiate ipk(s).

2 – Do what Marc has done.

Just discovered this, it seems to be only ITV. Pointless like you say.

Yes, we have a waterfall, pretty cool. Mrs Joe found out she could send sticky messages on the screen. She’s been leaving me jobs to do.
