I don’t eat many biscuits but when I do, I enjoy a Ginger Nut. They are so versatile and yummy.

I would say Tunnocks Caramel Wafers but at their current price I find the Lidl and Aldi versions very acceptable alternatives 🙂
Don’t get the yellow packet Asda one though, they are not good! Asda’s choccy digestives are ok, I tried the Lidl ones and the biscuit base is quite hard and dry 🙁
I would have said proper Jaffa Cakes but of course they’re not biscuits!, I did go to do a job in the factory where they’re made and the smell of the molten orange filling was awful!. Didn’t put me off eating them though 🙂
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

I know someone else who likes ’em. Tunnocks kindly supports disabled sailing up here, so keep buying them tea cakes please!

June 14, 2025 at 11:44 am #306579ASDA Extra Special All Butter Chocolate Chip Shortbread are really very good. However, when I can manufacture a “special occasion” it has got to be M&S “Outrageously Chocolatey” range. Some have more chocolate than biscuit. Try to keep them away from guests – they go too quickly!
