Ah, the good old conspiracy pmuppets out in force

Whats the issue? My lad had to have the same type of box on his insurance as he was under 25, never went wrong.

If you drive correctly, what’s the issue? If you drive like a hooligan, or the car isn’t at your address, you deserve to lose your car.

It’s really great that the vanity, show off to your neighbours cars which do nothing for the UK have been removed.

Love the sight of Badge Bunnies crying on these forums that they can’t get cars from companies like BMWand the Quant family, who supported Hitler before he was Fhurer, and would have sent you all to concentration camps because of your disabilities, have been removed

Now, let’s talk about Chinese companies using slave labour to build their cars…..

DRLs we’re first adopted by Sweden which is why Volvos had them for years.

The EU then mandated front DRLs, but not rear ones. But Sweeen after their experiences did Mandate rears as well.

Whilst I know as a pensioner, my mobility part cannot be introduced, but I think the Daily living can? As niw I gave serious problems cooking 9reparibg food etc

                  Penny pinching?

No. You need to examine what’s going on in tge business.

Many dealerships are now only handover dealers, with the price of the car being controlled by the manufacturer

Secondly, dealerships are surviving on extras and warranty claims. And manufacturers are clamping d8en 9n claims.

They can only sell what the manufacturers allow them to. They have a 90 day turn aroubd if they control 9rice and if you want a car without extras, they have to call a special order to 5ye manufacturer who mow only build to 8rdet

I see the “badge bunnies” are still moaning they can’t have their shiny new Beeeema on their driveway to rub their neighbours noses in it

Of course they are putting together a task force, as the main complaint from tte press, Parliament and general public is “abuse of the scheme”.

This task force will solve two issues

                    1) catch any abusers

                    2) show the lack of abuse hopefully

Find out what the Cheif Executive of your local councils are paid,  find out how much your trades union leaders are paid, all in the hundreds of thousands whilst either providing a reduced service or a reduction in membership.

What utrter left wing nonsense, being uesd to justify those who voted for this Marxist bunch of liars.

If the left gave a damn, they would have, as per the welfare bill, voted it down. They didn’t, because in their minds, no one should have a choice of car, at all should drive a single model, from state owned factories.

The blame stands squarely with those that voted two tier Starmer into piwer, and those “badge bunnies” who chose their mobility car on tge perceived premium badge on it, to show off to the neighbours in their social housing.

The uniparty has been gunning for motabiluty for years, with the majority of peopke supporting them, whether fir jealous reasons, or a perceived sense of fair play.

                            Right wing? What a crock

Don’t go to the states without insurance, it really is a false economy, you will not be treated in a hospital without it, and if they do treat you, you will find yourself with a huge bill that they will chase.

We go to our villa in Florida twice a year and I pay a small (£150) premium on my bank travel insurance,

If you have a bank account, check their travel insurance, if you gaveca specific disability, check that disability forums and groups to see if there us a specific company they use

You are not forced to enrol in the scheme, in fact 60% of HRMC  don’t.

Without the scheme you can still buy or lease, but not at such a preferential rate

Many already use their benefit for pre owned cars.

Well said Andy Farty arge and tories left a mess although I still think all this has gone way too far and if basic A to B peddle cars are left it will not be fit for purpose is this a ploy my by chinese Uk Gov to get rid of Motability as it was very successful in making profits and also some dealers for these so call upmarket cars will lose out and more dealers could go bust as they are now.

Oh look! A far left idiot who obviously voted for this Marxist Government, a government who have imposed these changes, yet blames Reform! You couldn’t make it up

Surely this action will have major implications for the manufacturers (dealers) affected.

                                    We can but hope so.

Those of us who have been here for a long time know that this type of knee herk reaction will eventually be slowly chipped at and cars will be reintroduced  the scheme will reintroduce cars over a period of time.

Motability was setup to provide a BASIC form of transpirt for disaboed peopke.

Over tine it became a huge lease schene with expensive cars against the principle of the scheme, as ut was beneficial to the lease company

No one needs a BMW, Audi or Mercedes, there are plenty of other cars available. You want one if those cars? Then lease it yourself. Oh, and don’t come back with “i need a high spec BMW for the heated seats etc” it’s bull
