I don’t know wether to laugh or die of laughter! Abuse if the scheme, ain’t that what’s being done by the actual government and MO themselves by removing suitable vehicles on the scheme?

Removal of LUXURY CARS .. SO why are the likes of a vauxhall Corsa still on as you can get one of those that go over the “LUXURY CAR TAX” Irony isn’t it

Motability Operations is forming a new “Special Investigations Unit” with around 80 dedicated staff to more strongly combat misuse of scheme vehicles.

The unit plans to strengthen data-sharing with government and police agencies for quicker, more effective action where misuse is identified.

I'm blunt and straight to the point and I make no apologies for it!

I see the “badge bunnies” are still moaning they can’t have their shiny new Beeeema on their driveway to rub their neighbours noses in it

Of course they are putting together a task force, as the main complaint from tte press, Parliament and general public is “abuse of the scheme”.

This task force will solve two issues

            1) catch any abusers

            2) show the lack of abuse hopefully

I feel a mixture of sadness and pity relating to the first sentence, its a sweeping statement to accuse Motability Customers with a BMW to be in your words ‘rubbing their neighbor’s noses in it’ (what a horrible expression to use!) but equally you are right about what the ‘Task Force’ might achieve. By the way I don’t have a BMW but 100% respect any Motability customers who do.
