Thanks for the replies. Hopefully they fix it and everyone ends up happy!
It is highly unlikely you will be allowed another ZR-V mate, as its no longer on the scheme. Hyundai have the spec to match if not more depending on trim but, not at the AP you paid. I’d speak with your dealer and try and push for a solution or even the slim possibility of getting another 🙂
yeah I thought as much. The only vehicles that seem to be good value and in my budget are the enyaq 85, ID4 match pro and the base ioniq 5…. all EVs, or the MG HS but even that has jumped in AP. I really really hope they can fix it for us. Thanks for the reply
Tell him you are busy until the 1st. Not much he can do really after you had to wait. You are the customer!
I thought that was for the exploding back windows.
Although I read yesterday that a huge % of cars will have it fitted anyway. And it will need turning off every time you restart the car. Check the article from ‘this is money’ yourself. It gives every main brand and what they say about it being fitted to UK cars. All hondas will have it for example.
Yeah it’s a big panoramic roof and we never ever close the blind! But it’s raining heavily now so I just went and closed it lol. Paranoid now! Glad you are OK.
OMG that must have been so scary!! Did you have the blind closed? I hope so. I am worried about mine now!! I hope you are OK.
I have the TCU (whatever that is!) connected but the app still says that it’s not available for my vehicle. It’s not a necessity but it would be a nice addition if working. I may pop into honda today
It shouldn’t matter to them how they get their money. Surely as you are the customer, you should be able to pay the AP how you wish! Not everyone has £4-5k in their account. I certainly haven’t 😆. I don’t know the answer but I would expect them to adhere to you!
Absolute liberties! VW, Skoda and BMW seem to be the worst offenders. It’s a very sneaky underhand practice to simply activate software when the hardware is all there already. No wonder people use scanners and unlock all the features in their cars!!
You can give it back whenever you want but motability have the right to charge your a cancellation fee. I don’t think they will after a call from you and your explanation. I am not even the awarded person, just the driver and I had an issue myself and they let us change the car without charge.
Yes a bit premature but maybe I helped someone get 1 ordered in time. It’s a shame because it’s a brilliant motability car!
Well it seems I was misinformed… so far. It was a dealer in Swindon I think… yeah we ordered ours 2nd Jan I think. Got the advance for only £1499 AP and a much better car than we thought. Loving it.
@coralie Do not worry about requesting an early termination, even for the hundredth time, if your situation has changed, Motability will ensure you are in a vehicle that will keep you moving. They understand. The fact that it is being sent to a manger is a good thing, they will be in position to help with the next vehicle. Good luck.
This is exactly what I expect to happen. These posters above are unbelievable!! How can they have no compassion and be so ignorant to others people’s disabilities!! Good luck @coralie
*Ashtray = only….*hero = very….*abs = and. That’s swipe to type combined with me not reading it back first!!
Yeah the lack of a powered boot on the megane is ridiculous really as the little square button gets covered in grime and it’s such a poor design from them as you have to grab the boot itself after pressing the little button and pull it up! It annoyed me and I am just the carer/ driver! Also we gave back our Megane ashtray only 5 months due to EV life really not suiting us and motability were very understanding. I didn’t think the megane was a hero good motability car anyway as it’s so low and not very practical but we loved car when in it. Motability must understand that customers requirements change constantly abs with their huge amount of money in the bank I think they could, and should accept your reasoning. I hope they do.
This is why me and Skoda will never get on! Everything is an option, even on higher spec cars. They think they are BMW!!
<p style=”text-align: left;”>They are 90% genuine leather so it was easy to wipe down, I then got in and drove it and ended up with a wet bum! So then we turned the heated seats up to max and within 20 mins it was perfectly dry. Checked the electrics and they all worked. Quite lucky really because it rained solid for 6 hours!!</p>
Had mine since January and I can honestly say it’s a fantastic car! So easy to drive, very nippy, so comfortable, easy 45mpg and every single extra I need. Infotainment/bose system is excellent as well. No digital key as the ZR-V isn’t compatible with the honda connect app…yet! So far, aside from leaving the sunroof open all night last week (yes it piffed down!) I have had no issues at all.
Yeah the previous Enyaq trims were pretty bad. The current ones are a lot better. It’s private because both BMW and Skoda are going to allow people to buy extras later I see the software is already there in the Skodas
exactly why we went with the ZR-V advance instead of any skoda SUV. Everything is standard on the ZR-V. Nothing else needed except maybe a 360° camera instead of the reversing one we get.
BMW really are taking liberties with their added ‘extras’ Thats nearly 3k for those items which most are standard on lots of other ‘cheaper’ cars!! I noticed skoda are the same.
£2499 AP for the advance…up £1000!! Hope everyone got their orders in! Still loving it. Beautiful car to drive and be driven in. ?
I think AI will ruin this world somehow…. fakeness has never looked so real!!
Yeah you have to switch the toggle to ‘none’ every trip.
Very nice car and well worth the AP for the spec. Regarding the Honda comment, the Honda might have similar spec but it is a very ugly car the hrv and zrv amd just horrible looking and very cheap feel inside
so better to get a car that everyone else has? It’s certainly not cheap inside at all!! Premium perforated leather everywhere with a Bose sound system, massive opening panoramic sunroof, heated front/rear seats/ steering wheel, matrix headlights, HUD, gesture control powered tailgate and the quietest smoothest drive i have seen in an ice vehicle!! The sportages are everywhere and lots are taxis!! I didn’t want to drive a taxi!! The ZR-V is a superb car no matter what you think it looks like and will last twice aa long as the Kia!!
