No lifetime awards in PIP. They are now called indefinite award and all have a 10 year review. Most will be a soft touch review and nothing will change.

2021 model Kona 64kw. 100% in this weather 235 miles.

Turn auto climate on at 21 it drops to 203. I need it on all the time in this weather as it mists up quite easily.

I done a drive the other day 208 round trip with two adults and radio on. Outside temp was between 9-11 degrees the whole journey. Dry and not much wind. 2 miles stop start city driving around 5mph to 15mph. 100 miles motorway way at 65mph and 2 miles city driving around 15mph to 30mph.

Going down at 65mph used 101 miles of range that left 134 mile range and gave 3.9 mi/kw which would easily get me home but I wanted to drive back at 78mph.

Stopped at 50kw charger, charging speed first 10min was 42kw and added 23 miles. Done another ten minutes and it added 20 miles, total added for 20 mins was 43 miles. By this stage it was starting to slow down as I was approaching 76%

Exact same drive home at 78mph with auto climate at 21 similar conditions. Started the return journey with 177 mile range and got home with 34 miles left and used 2.9mi/KW.

Drive back used used an extra 42 miles range at higher speed.

Journey down took an extra 30 minutes.

          @moggy I’ve had my Kona near 3 years and that’s my mi/KW

I’ve covered 36251 miles in near three years and my miles per KW is 1.9 over that time.

@solent I had the old 3008 GT line middle spec and I’ve ordered the new e3008 GT top spec. They have ditched the GT line and basically made the GT the same spec as GT line from what I can see. While the new e3008 isn’t even in show rooms from what I see on forums the Peugeot fans are not happy and Renault is the preferred switch. The biggest gripe was removing the park assist and replacing it with a 360 camera.

As 72dudes says. I’m sorry I started using the regen braking as I’m so used to using it now that it near caused an accident the other day as I had it off and not on auto. Turn it off and coast as much as possible for best MpKW.

I know all my stats or from the Kona and you’re interested in the ix1 but I think they have the same usable 64kw battery, both are not built on a dedicated EV platform, mind the BM is heavier. And according EV database have a similar range of 170-345.

The 210 mile trip today is about 200 miles of motorway there and back. I’m going to go down at 65mph and return at 78mph. It will be interesting to see the difference.

Is there any reason why you would not switch to an Intelligent EV tariff like Octopus Intelligent Go? At 7.14p per KWh, it really does make sense. Octopus are still offering me occasional 3 hours of free daytime electricity once or twice per week which is brilliant too.

Ofgen is considering a two rate tariff (what a suprise not!). From my POV as an electrician its not good idea to have white goods running whils’t one is a sleep nd I’m sure as hell the fire brigade would agree with me! From my perspective I’m happy my smartmeter is about as dumb as me 🙂 Secondly the “smart” in charger will one day in the not so distant future, will along with the smart meter allow what we all know as V2G on a similar basis to the intelligent tariffs 24 hours a day.

I have retired 🤣 Something I was going to discuss with @Gloss-Guy as hehewill have to sit down and have the discussion where charging is concerned, if he becomes serious about the iX1. Its not a simple installation put it that way 🙂

There’s a strange one. I went out and checked the Mi/kWh history. The first one was the first time I ever done a reset and I always said how bad my range was as people on here were getting well over 300. So why the big chance? 28/03/2024 36251 miles and 1.9 Mi/kWh 02/04/2024 36333 miles and 4.9 Mi/kWh

Quoted instead of editing. I’m away to bed lol

I went to check the lease extension on my account to see if the two year option was there and it’s not. My account is saying ‘you have extended your lease. Your insurance etc’.

I didn’t extend, and my lease is not up until the 17th may. I wonder do they know that my order will not be here by that date so have automatically extended. Also says hand back date to be arranged with your dealer.

Handy that as I’m going for a spin to Dublin tomorrow to see some dead people lol. I will charge the car tonight and give you a full breakdown of the figures tomorrow. I don’t need to charge for this run but usually do as I can get a great free parking spot in central Dublin. That’s another wee perk of ev owning.

Kezo is right about the public chargers from 80-100% not only do they go slow but you get a fine for staying over 80%. I need the 100% as I do a lot of miles on my trips. My last fine was 5 euro. I don’t know if they are all like that but ESB here are.

I’ve just went through my charge history for last year with ESB which is really all I use here as they are/were the main supplier. These figures won’t give miles given but the numbers guys on here might be able to work it out based on my Konas battery.

My driving style is always around 78-80 motorway A roads, 60-68 B roads, 34ish around city main roads. Heat usually 21 and music always on and basically 3 adults always. I usually get 270ish in the summer and 220ish winter. Either way I’m guaranteed 200miles. Incase it helps.

                        42.4kwh  £24.44  time 58 min

                        2.2.            £1.25.            12 min

                        36.8.          £21.21.          1hr 2 min

And in the good days 2 charges equaling 48kwh taking 4 hours and costing 0 lol ah I miss the free charging.

My current tariff is an EV tariff and is 35p a kwh at day rate and 19p kwh night rate. Which if I’m right the Kona would cost £12 to get a full charge. My old 3008 done 90 miles for £20 at petrol prices over 3 years ago, I think it was around £1.05.

Cheers for the replies folks. All good the ap was changed before the 2nd call and is now showing as 0 to be paid. They couldn’t have done it that quick so I presume that they do it themselves automatically. Hats of to them.

The adding the sensation pack would require upfront payment which I don’t have but she said leave it with her and she will see what she can do regarding not reordering and see what can be done about the payment upfront. Excellent service tbh.

Side note. She stated that there is never a problem with the staff at, and the dealership itself lowering APs but that sometimes mobility put a block on the new order and that causes problems. I think a member in here had that problem the other day with an Enyaq and it caused him/her some stress.

The GT has all of them and these and the pack just seem to be upgrades on them. I believe one is an automatic lane change. Tbh adaptive CC and lane keep assist is all I really need/want when it comes to driving and 600 will get me and the family a nice hotel break.

@POPS did you ever consider the 360 vision and drivers assist pack? I’ve been thinking about it but can’t really find any information on what each thing does. Some are obvious like the camera but others aren’t like the highway assist 2.0. Peugeots site is useless tbh so I’m not sure an extra 600 on top of the sensation pack would be worth it.

des, the “laminated acoustic glass” adds a sound reflective layer which enhances the clarity of the sound. It works well. I currently have the ten speaker Focal hi-fi audio system in my 3008GT hybrid, and it provides a superb sound experience in my opinion. The opening sunroof will increase the interior light and interior ambience, although keeping it closed will give the optimum ‘sound experience’ when I’m sat at one of the many local Beauty spots, so I’ve added the “Sensation pack” to my E-3008 order. I’ve also added the “mistral full grain leather electric ‘AGR’ pack” as I have a similar electric pack in my current car, and I would struggle now if I changed to a manual system. I am now considering whether to add the “360 vision pack” as it has a few extra useful safety features. The AP reduction makes it a more justifiable addition. I definitely will not be adding a “heat pump” as I don’t cover enough miles to justify the additional expense. The Motability ‘specialist’ at my dealership told me yesterday that he is expecting to have an ‘E-3008’ demonstrator sometime in the next two weeks. I normally would not have considered placing an order for a car I had not sat in and driven, but the fact that I have driven my 3008 GT hybrid for three years means that I’m fairly sure I will find it okay. However, I have seen a few journalists and reviewers commenting on “an unsettled clunky ride over English roads” due to the considerable extra weight generated by the very heavy battery floor. As I suffer from spinal nerve damage I will need to check this one last detail by driving a ‘demo’ around the beautiful (but much potholed) lanes and ‘B’ roads that criss cross my part of the Severn valley. These are just a few personal thoughts on my own particular “needs and wish list”, but of course your needs and wishes will be different …. It’s good to have such a positive AP surprise for a change.

Cheers pops. Like you I had a 3008gt line so think I could live with it. The sunroof would be great as I’ve only ever driven one car with black roof lining. It was only for two days and I think the cosy feeling would soon fade as it will become a bit claustrophobic. I might add the 360 pack but to be honest I’m not sure what some of it does and Google is not much help.

I watched a review the other day that a guy worked out you would need to cover 80k to get the money back from a heat pump so it would not be worth it for most. Based on the average price of a heat pump, UK weather and typical electricity prices.

MF i would like the sun roof which is a 900 stand alone option on the allure but 1200 with the premium sound system and cabin air nonsense which I don’t need on the GT.

I think the acoustic windscreen is standard on the GT. The sensation pack has pano, sound system and some kind of cabin air purifier or whatever nonsense it is.

If I could get the pano on its own then I would get the £600 vision pack even though I don’t know what it is 😂

I’ve never noticed any of my cars handling better than others tbh. It’s something I wonder about with some of the comments on here about handling. I’ve drove around lots of country roads at 60+ ahem cough cough lol and never ever had a car slip, slide, wobble or been anywhere near losing control from the oul rovers and escort, the Alfa, the 2.0ltr td astra which was fast and the electric Kona which is fast and heavy.

This is something I find strange on my behalf. Interior and comfort are top priority for me. Citroen has both and I like the recent Citroen cars a lot, but I’ve never considered having one.
