Just a quick update and thank you to everyone who helped. I’ve now ordered a Škoda Enyaq in Meteor Grey 😊
Really appreciate all the advice, it helped me make up my mind in the end and I feel much more confident about the decision.
Just as a heads up for anyone else ordering. I was quoted £30 for the initial electric charge when collecting the car, and they also offered an upholstery protection product for around £250, which I declined.
Might be worth being aware of these extras. Thanks again everyone for the help 🙂

March 23, 2026 at 3:26 pm #348493Congrats!
March 23, 2026 at 3:33 pm #348494We have the enyaq, we weren’t charged anything and the car had around 80% from memory. You’ll love the car, loads of extras included.

March 23, 2026 at 3:34 pm #348495Amusingly, after weeks of stressing over my choice – even going as far as to code a bloody web app to compare the 3 cars I was stuck on (Enyaq Sportline w/ Maxx, Ioniq 5 Unlimited with Tech pack, and Mini Countryman with Level 3 pack) I to have made the decision to go with the Enyaq too (though I’m not ‘signing on the dotted line’ till later in the week). I was gonna go meteor grey but now I’m pondering the black after Gary at Simpsons Preston (absolutely stellar guy, highly recommend if it’s anyones local Skoda dealership) sent me photos of a black one and it looks stunning X_X
Test drove an edition model (their demo car) this morning, it was amazing the ADAS systems are mind blowing which is great for putting me at ease with anxiety and the likes.
I hope you absolutely love yours :D.
March 23, 2026 at 5:28 pm #348505Which Enyaq have you fellas ordered?
I went for 85x Sportline Maxx, u guessed it in Meteor grey!
I was quoted 19 weeks for delivery but asked dealer for September delivery, (76 plate) so they put on order not required until September. Not sure if them doing that will make any difference to actually getting the car then.
March 23, 2026 at 6:34 pm #348512I am definitely not a fella 😂 but I’ve ordered the base model for £750. Can’t even afford the next model lol let alone maxx 😲
I was estimated for the delivery around August.
March 23, 2026 at 7:17 pm #348517I also ordered the SEL 85 in racing blue , it has loads of kit for the £750 ap price. I ordered in Feb was told around June for delivery.
March 23, 2026 at 7:47 pm #348518is the plus pack worth it anyone?
March 23, 2026 at 8:45 pm #348521It wasn’t for me , my current car has matrix headlights , the amount of people that flash me daily is annoying so I’ll go without. I very rarely got flashed with just standard LEDs.

If you want/need electric seats and a power tailgate, then Yes.
2024 - BMW i4 Grand Coupe eDrive 35 Sport
2020 - Volvo XC40 T4 Inscription
2017 - Audi Q3 TFSi Sport S-TronicMarch 23, 2026 at 9:15 pm #348523The power tailgate is standard on an Enyaq.
March 23, 2026 at 9:19 pm #348524We have power tailgate heated and power seats on the edition model.

I think the SEL 85 (plus) is worth it.
You gain LED matrix headlights and variable distribution and distance, with corner function.
LED rear lights and scrolling front and rear indicators.
Electric drivers seat with memory lumbar massage.
Electric heated wing mirrors, folding, adjustable with memory.
Rear window blinds.I have ASD and thus have difficulty with social and understanding information, written and verbal. I process information in logical blocks, before I reply. Sometimes I'm right and sometimes I'm wrong.
I also have a corneal visual condition, which makes me visually impaired without daytime, or daytime bulbs, among other disabilities/conditions.March 23, 2026 at 10:54 pm #348526are the massage seats any good? i do love the visual look of the matrix lights alone. I can only imagine how good they are when using them
March 24, 2026 at 12:00 am #348529The SEL Plus is pretty much an Edition model with substantial discount.
I like the Enyaq but it’s never quite been the best choice for me. It’s like the safe fall back plan if the slightly more exciting model doesn’t come through. That said, if it comes to decision time and it’s the best combination of car and price, I know I won’t be too disappointed driving it for 3 years.

March 24, 2026 at 10:01 am #348543Skoda released (yesterday haha) a new press release about upcoming changes to the Enyaq (https://cdn.skoda-storyboard.com/2026/03/260323_Elroq_and_Enyaq_Model_year_updates_for_both_Skoda_electric_bestsellers_3ef1c7b1.pdf)
I wonder if our orders will be affected. Given the ‘realistic’ build times I feel there is a good chance 🤔, sure none of it makes any really matters the current car is already outstanding, but hey, every little helps and all that.
March 24, 2026 at 10:04 am #348544Yeah seen that , the only one I really want is the new updated screen that runs on android. Other than that the rest are nice but I wouldn’t mind missing out.

V2L is a massive plus point, being able to use the car for power during power cuts.

March 24, 2026 at 11:58 am #348753I believe even the current ones (as long as it’s a tech-deck face) can do V2H, or at least have the necessary hardware even if it’s not actually enabled in the system. But yeah adding v2L is awesome.
It amuses me to no end that on the day I did my test drive and finally made a decision Skoda release a press release that basically says ‘all those other little things you were weighing up that some of the other cars have that the Enyaq doesn’t? We’re adding them!’
End of the day it doesn’t matter really as, like I said, the car in its current form is outstanding. My hardest decision is the colour but I’m 95% sure I’m going to go for the grey cos with the sportline having black logos and all that, it looks amazing. A neighbour has a coupe sportline in the grey and it looks so cool. Shame the coupe isn’t on the scheme anymore, but internally (which is ‘logically’ where I will be spending most of my time) they are pretty much identical except for the pano roof, which I don’t really care about, and a slightly smaller boot on the coupe haha.
March 24, 2026 at 12:46 pm #348755Pano roof isn’t a great loss, they have a nasty habit of leaking!!!
I’m keeping the SEL Enyaq on my list (or Elroq if it comes back on) The changeover to Android should hopefully improve the operating software.
I’d like the velvet red (have race blue now) but wouldn’t pay the extra for something I won’t really see when driving 🙂
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
March 24, 2026 at 12:51 pm #348756They told me yesterday velvet red is a free colour now 🫠
March 24, 2026 at 2:16 pm #348758I’ve emailed my dealer about the MY26 updates. I’m in the build queue, but I would be willing to pause the build for these updates.
– V2L is a huge plus for me,
– The additional frunk is a great place to store the tyre stuff and other cables, I won’t use that much.
– The change to Android OS for the car is better than the usual OS from VW group.
– Traffic Assist 3 is beneficial, as I often use ADAS on my car for the school run.I’ll let you know what my dealer says.

A member on here a year or so ago bought identical black logos online and cheap for their enyaq and I’m pretty sure said it was an easy job. It won’t effect GCB either. The grey and black would look very good.
I remember as I did have a black enyaq on order at one point and was planning on doing it myself. More as a ‘black out’ as it’s black logos, black car lol
March 24, 2026 at 7:13 pm #348767Does anyone know if you can adjust motability order like colour or adding a pack if you have no build date yet? ordered two weeks ago

I assume you can if the car isn’t currently being built.
I can only guess, as to, it should be a fairly simple job to add to the order on the system.
Unless they lock the order in, thus making it uneditable. You’d have to talk to the dealership about that.
Speaking as a former computer systems architect.
I’ve developed some applications that allow you to create orders, but then, they are read only.
The only other option was to cancel that said order.Others, have been developed to have orders editable until a certain point.
All depends on how their system was created.
