Yes, I think you might be right. Have spoken to someone I know in VW. He has said get rid of it and go for the Tiguan same set up and engine but does  not have the problems of the golf. I will think about it over the weekend.

Just ordered Golf get. I asked the dealer if the AP comes down Q1 2025 can we ‘re order at lower AP. Dealer says motabilty are clamping down on this and you have a delay period to ‘re order. Also said with the tyres you are not getting unlimited amount  and I may have to change them around from front to back. He says this because electric and plug in hybrid and just going through to many tyres through lease.  Is this correct

Ohme have now looked at charger. They may have done something as the message on charger screen which said car only charging at 3.7kw has now disappeared. I will charge tonight to see if has been rectified. Thanks

Apparently it is only affecting some ohme pro charges. People are posting on ohme help that they have same problem. The fact ohme have gone to the exstent to post a prepared  message on there site suggests to me they are aware. I have had a charger since 2017 I have double checked everything.

When you have had the snp saying for 14 years when we get control of dla/pip we will do much better than the terrible tories. We will be quicker and apply a softer approach. Things will be much better for the disabled in Scotland. Well read the statistics.

Yip, the whole point of the post we were told by there spin doctors they would do much better than the terrible tories. If they had had said this is a difficult benefit to administer but we will try our best. Instead of putting ther spin doctors into overdrive telling us how fantastic they were going to be.

Yes. My wife just confirmed it is an indefinite award I was given. My mistake.

I have just looked at all my dwp letters and they only have a start date. I can’t see anything in them that says this award is only for ten years. It was Macmillan that looked at the award and said because of your condition there is no end date. It was they that said this is called a life time award as there was no end date on it. This letter from ADP is the first letter I have received with an end date.

Using public charging ie garages would make the cost of running an ev far to expensive for me. Octopus 7.5 pence rate is the only way I can afford it. If I didn’t have a home charger it would be hybrids.

I am very happy with zr-v. Fuel economy is excellent, getting 43 minimum with different types of runs. Only gripe is the grap handles and mobile phone. Honda system where you can only have main number working while driving. You have to keep changing when me or my wife are driving. VW system is miles better.

The snp doesn’t help you it’s money they get from uk government to assist people in Scotland with heating.

Problem with air source pump is if you do not live in a modern house with up-to-date insulation you need radiators the size of a football pitch to get any heat from them.

I sent pictures on Wednesday morning, they asked for them. The problem is it is such a tight fit at the charger. They have not replied as yet to my update email this morning. The cost of going to a garage to charge would be astronomical, compared to my octopus rate.

It is harling over brick. Just sent an email to see if they have contacted someone to repair before it falls off. I have had to leave my cable in, which makes it vulnerable to be stolen as it can only be locked when connected to car.

We had complete central heating system fitted in Scotland two years ago free of charge. Also had Wi-Fi smoke alarms fitted as well. Warmhome Scotland carried out the work. Each home who applied where entitled to £7500 of works carried out. Also had old cavity wall removed  and up to date cavity wall insulation fitted. They also put foam under the floor for insulation. Made a massive difference to heating my home. You can apply every seven years as well to have boiler replaced.

The car does slow down but not as quickly as other cars I have had over the years. I am assuming that it something to do with the electric motors that drive the wheels and the engine.

I’m getting grief from my wife. I did not notice when I viewed and test drive the zr that there was no roof grab handles. She has difficulty getting out of the car and the grab handles were a great help. She keeps reaching for them and there not there. She says she would never had let me lease this car if she had known they did not have any.

Just worked out why I couldn’t lock the car with fob. My wife leaves her handbag hidden in car when we go a walk, and guess what the spare key is in her bag without telling me she has it doh!

Oh dear, my remote locking is playing up car won’t lock. Its when I use the boot. I close the electric boot and close with button on boot lid As I walk away and press fob car doesn’t lock. I hear three beeps. I check all doors and boot. All locked try again and again, same thing. The first time it happened I went really close to back window hey presto it worked. So it happened again today. It just wouldn’t lock. Walked back and held fob 1 inch from back window and it locked no problem. Suspect something to do with electric boot.  I double checked both times nothing caught in boot. Calling dealer tomorrow. I noticed on forums CRV has had issues with this. I wise man once told me always wait a year till you buy a new model. Gives them time to sort issues out.

Once you are aware it doesn’t decelerate like a normal combustion engine it’s fine.
