Got ID3 back today new actuator fitted. On picking car up was told 2 recalls on car. Earliest date given was November. They have arranged a car for up to a week as one of the recalls is the battery. Apparently it could be quite major depending what they find. It involves a lot of checks to be carried out and possible battery replacement.
Got a telephone call from vw dealer car ready. Nothing wrong with flap. We have a video of it working. I said it was definitely stuck must be intermittent. No they said it’s fine. So went out late afternoon to pick up. Service advisor brought car round and said there you go. Tried flap stuck. Oh dear he said I will get mechanic. He came still stuck. Eventually got it open but I said I want new parts fitted. They agreed and now waiting.
It cannot get any worse. We are already in the gutter you can’t go any lower.
When I was diagnosed with stage four blood cancer, my claim was processed by the the terrible Tories in 10 weeks and that included a home visit asscesment. Not so terrible we who have to live in Scotland know who is terrible and do not listen to SNP propaganda. Also I should have said the news article is also about people with terminal cancer are having to use food banks while waiting for ther claim to be processed.
Car went into vw at 1pm. Motability were excellent, called them and within an hour Europcar had called to say they could deliver car between 4 and 5pm. Only 2 cars available fiat 500 or Citroen c3. Went for C3. Car arrived 3 years old with 40000 miles on it. At least keeps us mobile.
It’s totally seized it’s not doing any clucking.
Yes there is a way of getting your hand up the rear wheel arch and try and free it. But alas they totally seize due to there location. It is a design fault due to the actuator location. The RAC man told me they are called out for this fault many times. Getting the actuator free allows you to charge but you still need to get new actuator fitted.
Went from 4% to 9%
If I was charging at home it would have cost 40 pence max.
As stated before my Honda dealer offered me any colour free of charge, I chose the blue.
What I actually meant once you reach pension age and and have a condition that will never change, ie cancer, your benefit will not be challenged.

Just ordered Honda ZR cost new £42000 if you bought it. Does not come with mats. Just went to carmats for u. Correct fitting mats for that model £23 delivered.
Yes, Have gone for the blue. Got my £750 off. Also I was offered any colour free of charge including the pearl white. I went to small Honda dealer and they could not have been more welcoming. They had 3 different colours of the model. Did not like the black looked a bit dull.
PENSIONERS winter payment applies to everyone in the UK. This payment is £500 if under 75 and £600 if over 75. Not to be confused with the new Scottish winter payment of £55 for those on certain benefits not including pip.
