It is harling over brick. Just sent an email to see if they have contacted someone to repair before it falls off. I have had to leave my cable in, which makes it vulnerable to be stolen as it can only be locked when connected to car.

We had complete central heating system fitted in Scotland two years ago free of charge. Also had Wi-Fi smoke alarms fitted as well. Warmhome Scotland carried out the work. Each home who applied where entitled to £7500 of works carried out. Also had old cavity wall removed  and up to date cavity wall insulation fitted. They also put foam under the floor for insulation. Made a massive difference to heating my home. You can apply every seven years as well to have boiler replaced.

The car does slow down but not as quickly as other cars I have had over the years. I am assuming that it something to do with the electric motors that drive the wheels and the engine.

I’m getting grief from my wife. I did not notice when I viewed and test drive the zr that there was no roof grab handles. She has difficulty getting out of the car and the grab handles were a great help. She keeps reaching for them and there not there. She says she would never had let me lease this car if she had known they did not have any.

Just worked out why I couldn’t lock the car with fob. My wife leaves her handbag hidden in car when we go a walk, and guess what the spare key is in her bag without telling me she has it doh!

Oh dear, my remote locking is playing up car won’t lock. Its when I use the boot. I close the electric boot and close with button on boot lid As I walk away and press fob car doesn’t lock. I hear three beeps. I check all doors and boot. All locked try again and again, same thing. The first time it happened I went really close to back window hey presto it worked. So it happened again today. It just wouldn’t lock. Walked back and held fob 1 inch from back window and it locked no problem. Suspect something to do with electric boot.  I double checked both times nothing caught in boot. Calling dealer tomorrow. I noticed on forums CRV has had issues with this. I wise man once told me always wait a year till you buy a new model. Gives them time to sort issues out.

Once you are aware it doesn’t decelerate like a normal combustion engine it’s fine.

Have other owners noticed when you are doing 70mph on dual carriageway and approaching a roundabout you take your foot off the the gas the car doesn’t reduce speed. I have had to apply brakes quite sharpish. Must be the type of engine, you get used to it but beware when you first get the car. The deceleration is practically nil.

Unfortunately not. It is slightly quieter at 70. Its between 40 and 60 that it’s noisy.

Can anybody answer. The Honda ZR can load multiple mobiles but you have to select priority. Me as the driver has this set, but when my wife gets a call in the passenger seat it does not get picked up by the car. All my previous cars it picked up whoever was called. Its a bit inconvenient having to change users depending who is driving. Can you set it like my other cars?

I’ve just had a 100mile trip. Road noise is quite excessive. Tried turning the radio up to drown it out. Hope I am not going to regret ordering this car. To me its tyre noise I am hearing. Wonder if different tyres would help

Macklin motors charge motabilty customers £30 for fuel before you pick up your car. They also only accept bank transfer for your advance payment several days before pick up.

It is not cheap stuff all spirit’s will rise by 30%. All profits going to producer. This will have a knock on effect for everyone in UK. Producer’s will not be slow to realise that if the Scottish public are daft eneogh  to pay these prices they will just do the same in England. Meanwhile I’m quite sure people will travel to England with a van and buy bulk and sell from the van on the black market. The difference in price will make it worth their while.

On to Berwick and stock up for 3 months. The saving more than Covers my fuel and had a nice run down the coast.

The trouble I have had with id3 and now the recalls on the vehicle battery I will not be ordering another vw group vehicle. I will order another electric vehicle but it will be one from the far east. There reliability is far superior.
