It s a requirement to inform the insurance and Motability, however unless it changed when the insurance switched over recently, Motability have aways permitted up to 6 points for any driver.
I did a similar termination although it was rather annoyingly classified as a voluntary termination by me due to “losing confidence” in the vehicle despite it being supplied with a fault that was never rectified and then being given a 4-6 month turnaround on the repair(s).
You may want to clarify that point with them.

I have a Qubev charger that is not a smart charger. As such I am on Octupus Go, not Intelligent.
I simply plug in and schedule off my charger for it to charge between 0030 and 0530 my cheap times. never had an issue. You could schedule in the car as well if you preferred (I did this on my previous EV).
Given the allowance is 60000 over a 3 year lease and 100000 over a 5 year lease, then yes, that reads you would get an extra 1666 miles per month allowance whilst waiting for a new car.
I know some will think I am mad but I pay the £20 for the TomTom app. I have found it the most accurate for traffic and more importantly road closures, especially at night. I also prefer the interface that shows any upcoming delays and possible quicker routes.
I run Waze in the background and it does indeed still give me the warnings for police/cameras etc over my speakers.
Yes you do. There is no discount to any AP shown for a vehicle to existing customers.
Of note, whilst some dealers ask for a small deposit (especially for extras), you should only be paying the AP upon collection of the car.
Went to the seaside again yesterday and the plan was to just enjoy the day, come home later and have a few beer while looking online at my options as in cancel and get something else as I’ve just given up on the V2L as I can’t be annoyed about going to war with Peugeot over it as I’m like a dog with a bone regarding these things. Enjoyed the day and the car was fine apart from a sore butt as the seat is very hard, experience tells me after a few months it will soften. And the range was bad again. 326 on the GOM when I left, traveled 96 miles and when home there was 184 left on GOM, so used 50miles extra. No climate as weather was mild, no rain, just me and two light kids. I’d sort of made my peace while driving home and decided to keep it, at least until winter to see how that affected the range, then worry about it then. So alls good.and I get home after a long day and have a few, then a few more beers
and watched a few documentaries and listen to some music. I get up to go to bed about 2am and look out the window and noticed the car boot was open
I went outside and the radio was on and the screens were on but blank. Keys by the way are in the cutlery drawer about 20m away from car and had been there from I got home. I videoed it all locked it up and went to bed in a mood. Phoned dealer and it’s going in on Friday as I’m away to Southampton and they can sort it. But that’s that, it’s going as that was the last straw. The glitches and gremlins can be fixed, the screens going blank is an inconvenience as is the sat nav not working. But a car unlocking, opening it’s boot and turning on is unacceptable. I’m so peed that I might demand that it goes asap and a hire car replaces it until the new one arrives. Don’t know what’s next. Not fussed on the 5 but also not bothered about looks, and the BMW will be too expensive I believe. I could put up with a few gremlins from the Enyaq as the size would sway me. I don’t care about the silly drivers cluster at this stage tbh. I’m going over now to measure the scenic boot to see if that suits. The ev6 is perfect but at 6-7k it’s insane. New quarter soon and I’ve no idea what that will bring. Ev6 surely won’t drop by 5k, don’t know of any big ev’s that might be added. Are any big cars as I’m now looking at ice as well. But as folk have said all values lie in EV on the scheme on the minute.
Have you called Motability yet? I had an issue with an Ioniq 5 I had. I called Motability as I wasn’t happy with the service I was getting and they offered me a cancellation with no penalty there and then without me even asking for it!!
I was amazed but very relieved at the same time. Ironically I ended up getting the same model as I love it albeit from a different dealership!
Just had a call from National Grid who have been excellent.
It is a single feed with no issues regards installing a charger.
Thanks again everyone.Thanks all.
Have contacted DNO and asked the question.Perfect, thank you
It’s an older cottage and end of terrace (around 100 years old) hence my concern…….
Looks like I may have my answer on another forum but still interested in any experienced answers please.
Glad my post was of some help.
Believe it or not I’m sticking with an Ioniq 5.
I love the car and willing to give it another go.In the ten or so days I had my Ioniq 5 (see separate thread) I did 1000 miles with three DC public charges and had a similar pleasant experience. With a little planning it really isn’t too stressful.
I even used the Tesla supercharger at Amesbury on the A303 and that went well too.
our Ioniq 38kwh shows 195miles this morning and temps here still 10c. The last 6000miles average is 4.9. In the warmer weather range was 200-220miles with a mixed bag of driving. Will be gutted when it goes next month, but it is being replaced by a Nansam
4.9?? that is some going. I pick mine up tomorrow (long range RWD Premium)
Do you use manual paddles for regen?
Ioniq 5 looks excellent value……
</p> That is a stunning car, and as you say the value looks great. Definitely on our list, although that list is ever growing haha[/quote]
I may be a bit bias in fairness. I pick mine up on Tuesday!

Have fun! A week tomorrow for me – or 8 days – or 194 hours – not that I’m counting 🙂
My AP went down £2300 this quarter from last. Being such a large figure I think my dealer knew I would walk away if they didn’t adjust, even though the car is there waiting for me in two weeks time.
As such, it was done straight away on the Monday for me.
Personally if it was anything under £3-400 I would have asked but it wouldn’t have led me to cancel.
Four adults live in my house, three of whom work from home. We have a fairly large 4 bed over three floors so we use a lot of electricity during the day. I also do around 16000 miles a year.
Have done some sums and it appears Octopus Tracker is best for us. It was 10 and 11p over the weekend. Tomorrow is 15p. The 34p during the day on IO would really hurt us!

Lee Harris at Hendy Ford in Portsmouth has always gone the extra mile for me in sourcing a car.
He may be worth a try……….

Massive shout out to Holly at Howard’s Yeovil.
Two months ago they allocated me a car in stock (RWD Premium Long Range) when I ordered but today resubmitted my order, thereby saving me £2300 without a quibble.
Well worth a visit if in the SW and looking at a Hyundai.-
