I think I’m going to cancel the agreement early. Oh so many stupid-broken things, some are little niggles others are a pain in the…
I won’t do a story about it and I will just list the problems, any questions just ask and I’ll answer them.
Full charge 100% has 326m on the GOM real range and driving conservatively only gives about 225m.
The two trips main and other show different miles PKW readings.
Radio stations disappearing and have to fav them all again.
The app is useless, doesn’t work most times and when it does it won’t show miles PKW on journeys.
Parking brake warning says that it’s broken and needs took to workshop, happened 3 times over a day. I have pictures.
Wouldn’t select gears today, happened just once. Have video off it.
Cruise control wouldn’t work yesterday, just once. Have a picture.
No auto hold. Big problem for me.
No tyre pressure figures, just says that they are OK.
Some buttons are not very responsive including start and stop button and some touch ones.
Auto lock didn’t work yesterday, just once.
Definitely need a back wiper as rain water doesn’t fall or get blown off because of shape.
No coasting/free wheeling as there is always one bar of regen on and it can’t be turned off. Major problem.
OK Peugeot-chatgpt is useless, if it works which it usually doesn’t.
Speed limit reading is bizarre and useless. It shows random speeds of 17mph and 27mph. It also picks up motorway way slip roads speeds limits so throws up 30 and 40mph. Most of these were in 70mph zones. I’ve seen pictures were they have the speed limit at 90mph.
Some things seem set up for left hand drive cars like dual climate zone and the re-gen paddles are back to front – is up and + is down.
Kick opening of boot sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.
Android auto always pops up for no reason, so end up going from radio to Spotify song and Google maps.
The seats get really hot in this good weather, very uncomfortable on a long drive. The Kona black leather didn’t get as hot.
There is no V2L on this car. I’ve spent 10s of hours trying to find out about it and there’s nothing except for early advertising of the car. I spent 30mins on the phone to Peugeot CC today and the guy knew what V2L was but didn’t know the e3008 had it. Even asked where I seen that it had it. On hold for most of the call while he contacted different departments and no one knew anything about it. He gives me a case number and said he will see what he can find out, but it might take a few days. 1. There’s no information regarding V2L except for a mention of it in an early brochure. 2. Why aren’t Peugeot selling leads, adapters for it. 3. No one including some at Peugeot know nothing about it. 4. Why is there no mention of it in any of the cars menus, up to date manuals. I don’t think it has it. I did read on an e3008 FB group that it will be an update in 2025. Deal breaker and car could go back because of this.
Some of these are just wee silly things, others aren’t.
Good things. It’s very quiet, comfortable, screens are very responsive, clear and bright. it’s stunning looking, it’s very big, feels bigger than it is. It seems solid, very well put together. And I’ve had a headache from I’ve got this car, caused by this car.

A good bit of research kezo. I was sure I’d read it on Peugeot (Stellantis) stat releases, but couldn’t remember where.
If a prospective buyer was deciding between a Hyundai Ionic 5 and a Peugeot E 3008 because they wanted V2L as a camping or day trip option, then removing it from the E 3008 without publicising the downgrade is out of order.
The fact that this press release was Sept 23 and des’s order was placed Feb 24 doesn’t alter the fact that he was misled, although Peugeot will no doubt stand behind their standard “subject to change” disclaimer.
August 16, 2024 at 11:15 am #286921I can honestly say aside from picking up the odd roadworks sign on side roads the Enyaq has not gotten the speed limit stuff wrong once it’s extremely accurate. Oh I had it miss a 60mph sign and thought I was still in a 30 but that was the councils fault really lol.
I had a petrol 3008 as a hire car and was nice enough and roomy but even that had some niggles and electrical gremlins.
Those e3008 issues sound a lot like the early days of the MG ZS where they were learning and tweaking
August 19, 2024 at 11:00 pm #287113Went for a three hour drive today and myself and the kids have come to the conclusion that we should just burn it lol.
The sat nav not working (I got lost), not charging (I got soaked), screen going black (on, frozen, black in rapid succession), app not working and leaving me with a fear that if it does do the command I sent (open car) when I’m not there ( someone may get in and burn it for me).
August 19, 2024 at 11:43 pm #287119Sorry to hear that but, it was something, I expected tbh. What next, wait for the new Ioniq 5 or Kia EV6 or Kona with a tent on back?
Here you are lol!
August 20, 2024 at 12:47 am #287123Brilliant lol, when the screen wouldn’t work today she just turned to me and said ‘daddy this car is rubbish’. Also said that she likes pot noodle so forget about that other thing (V2L).
I really want to like this car but so many wee gremlins in such a short space of time have just peed of a man who’s already angry about the V2L thing, especially the last line in Peugeots customer care email.
I ain’t even spoke to the dealer about these problems as I know some will iron themselves out and the others will be ironed out by the dealer. I believe to just let it go for another week and hopefully that’s the end of them, example the parking break warning hasn’t came back, so hopefully the others won’t.
Some great things about it. I don’t know much about ride, but this thing just seems eat tarmac, it just goes over everything with little fuss. I eventually got the car charged on a 150kw I think charger for 17 minutes and got 28kw which was about 100 miles which impressed me, It’s very quiet and I love the steering wheel, it’s even better than the old 3008 wheel.
So what happens next? I keep it and everything gets ironed out and v2l is rolled out next year then I’m very, very happy, but, what if V2L gets rolled out say December 25, or gets delayed until 26, that half my lease gone, what if it’s only capable of going into e3008s built in 25, what if it’s available to all but at a very expensive price, I can’t see it being free. All buts, but buts that are no good to me.
Other options. Kona is two small, ev6 two expensive and I don’t know when the ioniq 5 will be on or what price it will be. My thinking tonight was to just give up on V2L and go bigger in size. I might go and have a look at the scenic tomorrow as it mid trim which is a good price has all and I think more than the top spec e3008. Or go back to the start and the enormous boot of the Enyaq. The most sensible solution is stick with the e3008 and hope everything gets sorted which it will, but that I can get v2l early-ish next year at a reasonable price, or free. Or try bigger scenic/Enyaq and buy a portable battery pack with solar panel. Saw a decent one earlier capable of running 1800w for up to 40 minutes and both would come in at just under a grand, that and the scenic ap seems ok
August 20, 2024 at 1:08 am #287125Out of curiosity I just searched “Peugeot e 3008 v2l” on Google and the second search result was
If you scroll down to the charging section it says “The new E-3008 also features a V2L (Vehicle to Load) function, giving customers the option of powering an electrical device via the car’s high-voltage battery. The system can supply up to 3kW of power.”
Don’t know if this is helpful in challenging Peugeot.
August 20, 2024 at 1:20 am #287127Tried that Collie. 3rd party blah blah blah came the reply from Peugeot. There’s a whole Facebook page of people interested in this and they are all the same as me. We read it in black and white on Peugeot website e3008 has V2L. But turns out it didn’t.
August 20, 2024 at 10:53 am #287149Although not on the scheme anymore, there are a few of the outgoing Ioniq 5’s on Autotrader, it maybe worth speaking to Motability, to see if they would let you have one of them if your local dealer could get one. That said the new i5, I expect will join the scheme next quarter, which isn’t far away.
The Scenic is nice but, only Hyundai seem to be serious about this in the mainstream market. I’m not a fan of the Enyak, which has its own gremlins and long lead times.
V2L requires a bidirectional charger fitted in the car, rather than a simple software update unfortunately, so if its definately not on yours, its likely to be seen on MY25’s if at all.
August 20, 2024 at 12:20 pm #287156The only issues with the Enyaq you’re aware of are those shouting about them. Plenty are happy. I’ve had mine awhile now not a single issue and I’m thrilled. Long lead times are pretty much a constant unless you get lucky with a stock car. Unlike previous cars I haven’t had a single niggle (yet). So whilst sure some have issues don’t make decisions based on it
August 21, 2024 at 2:49 pm #287215Went to the seaside again yesterday and the plan was to just enjoy the day, come home later and have a few beer while looking online at my options as in cancel and get something else as I’ve just given up on the V2L as I can’t be annoyed about going to war with Peugeot over it as I’m like a dog with a bone regarding these things.
Enjoyed the day and the car was fine apart from a sore butt as the seat is very hard, experience tells me after a few months it will soften. And the range was bad again. 326 on the GOM when I left, traveled 96 miles and when home there was 184 left on GOM, so used 50miles extra. No climate as weather was mild, no rain, just me and two light kids.
I’d sort of made my peace while driving home and decided to keep it, at least until winter to see how that affected the range, then worry about it then.
So alls good.and I get home after a long day and have a few, then a few more beers 😁 and watched a few documentaries and listen to some music. I get up to go to bed about 2am and look out the window and noticed the car boot was open 👀 I went outside and the radio was on and the screens were on but blank. Keys by the way are in the cutlery drawer about 20m away from car and had been there from I got home. I videoed it all locked it up and went to bed in a mood. Phoned dealer and it’s going in on Friday as I’m away to Southampton and they can sort it. But that’s that, it’s going as that was the last straw. The glitches and gremlins can be fixed, the screens going blank is an inconvenience as is the sat nav not working. But a car unlocking, opening it’s boot and turning on is unacceptable. I’m so peed that I might demand that it goes asap and a hire car replaces it until the new one arrives.
Don’t know what’s next. Not fussed on the 5 but also not bothered about looks, and the BMW will be too expensive I believe. I could put up with a few gremlins from the Enyaq as the size would sway me. I don’t care about the silly drivers cluster at this stage tbh. I’m going over now to measure the scenic boot to see if that suits. The ev6 is perfect but at 6-7k it’s insane. New quarter soon and I’ve no idea what that will bring. Ev6 surely won’t drop by 5k, don’t know of any big ev’s that might be added. Are any big cars as I’m now looking at ice as well. But as folk have said all values lie in EV on the scheme on the minute.
August 21, 2024 at 2:57 pm #287217The Skoda Kodiaq PHEV, might be worth a look, in that it has all the space you need and a claimed 72 mile electric range.
August 21, 2024 at 3:22 pm #287218I had a look at the Renault Scenic and was disappointed with its boot capacity. It’s about the same as the VW ID3, we had to take a wheel off the wheelchair to fit it in the boot on both cars.
Skoda Enyaq Race Blue
August 21, 2024 at 4:33 pm #287222How are you using the V2L to power your pressure washer, from the inside socket under seats and closing door on power lead ?
I assume you cant use the external V2L socket when its raining or whilst washing the car ?

August 21, 2024 at 4:51 pm #287225I’ve been in the Enyaq awhile now and it’s the first car in my life I’ve fallen in love with after 25 years of driving.
I haven’t had any if these niggles yet but it’s been a month so who knows. First long distance journey and I got 4mi/kwh which was a mix of A B and C roads, dual carriageway plus M25.
I even find the Skoda app is good telks you if locked or unlocked plus if a window is down or not. Turned the aircon on whilst on rides at Thorpe Park so car was lovely and cool on leaving
ACC along with road sign recognition and travel assist meant I was essentially doing nothing in stop start motorway traffic not even steering. The travel assist systems are brilliant even takes the effort out of steering it’s so freaky lol
The seats are the most comfy ever with adjustable lumbar support in up and down.
Im sorry about the 3008 it was initially on my list as I was in a 3p08 petrol for awhile but this whole thing about not having any to test drive plus whether there’d be issues put me off hence the Enyaq.
Boot space was the biggest draw to the Enyaq but rear legroom is massive too plus tri one aircon means everyone is comfy without me having to listen to moaning.
I would find a dealer that’ll do you a all day test drive in the Enyaq next, Group1auto in Norwich we’re amazing offered me 9-5 immediately on asking.
If anyone is interested in the Enyaq and near North Norfolk I’m more than happy for people to come poke mine etc.
August 21, 2024 at 5:47 pm #287229Kezo the phev must be removed.
Dumfries it’s actually bigger than the e3008 albeit deeper. The e3008 is 1 1/2 inch longer and 2 inches wider. I had the measuring tape out today lol. There maybe a problem with part of the low down dash corner cutting into leg. Could be a big problem for me.
Markah we don’t have a pressure washer and never will tbh. There are plenty of connectors so the outside charging port can be used outside in rain.
I’ve just done a few calculations and going back to ice would be daft financialy. I done one calculation based on a journey I do regularly and in ev it costs £5 odds and in ice £19.60.
The Enyaq I think is the right call. Size, range, and a mild format of 4×4 as I’m planning on car camping.
5 days coming up in Southampton and London to chill, do a bit of sightseeing and a have a few beers. Then when I get back I will await the new quarter and decide then.

Have you called Motability yet? I had an issue with an Ioniq 5 I had. I called Motability as I wasn’t happy with the service I was getting and they offered me a cancellation with no penalty there and then without me even asking for it!!
I was amazed but very relieved at the same time. Ironically I ended up getting the same model as I love it albeit from a different dealership!

August 22, 2024 at 5:14 pm #287296DJW it’s going to the dealership on Friday as I’m away until Wednesday. I will give them the chance to fix it, which I presume they will fix most and i believe it’s the best option if I end up wanting to end agreement and order something else. I’ve given up on the V2L as Abercol says they have us in the terms and conditions.
That leaves me with two problems. The app doesn’t work, it does not send the commands and going by a FB group it never will. I’m not going through a winter without preconditioning the car. I said this on a few threads on here going back over a year that it’s high priority now.
That leaves the range which at around 220-230 now in perfect temperatures for EV driving ie no AC and no heating on, then what’s it going to drop too over winter with heating, wipers and lights on a lot longer. My old kona returned a similar range in winter. I have managed to get it up to 3.6 mpkw this last charge which should get me a 262 range. But I’m not, also have not and will never drive a car like that and I didn’t need to do it on the kona. The last charge I have not went on the motorway, not went over 65mph, not used climate, didn’t renewed to mind as it’s mild, I’ve drove in eco mode which is very slow in the e3008 and not been heavy footed. I’ve drove like that for the last 230 miles and it’s soul destroying. I didn’t need to do it in the kona so dont see why I should do it in the e3008. Yes the e3008 is bigger and heavier, but surely the bigger more modern battery should level it up a bit. They claim 326 and I was expecting about 280 driving normally, so 220/30 is rubbish in good weather conditions.August 22, 2024 at 8:34 pm #287305I’ve got many of the same problems with the new e3008. In particular I’ve media problems (no radio, it simply staes ‘wait for antenna connection’). How long am I supposed to wait! Then same problems as your good-self with speed limit and speed camera warnings and I also have the parking brake fault/warning. However my local dealer very helpful and understanding. Now have a nearly new 3008 hybrid curtsey car whilst mine is in for repair. Been informed that a replacement ECU (Electronic Control Unit) required which is on order. Should arrive UK on 28th so probably 10 days before I get the e£008 returned.
Like you, despite these teething problems, I think that its a fantastic car. What a looker! Smooth comfortable drive and I’m finding it vry spacious and luxurious interior.
However, unlike your good-self I’m finding seat comfortable (recently drove 250 miles to Exeter and returned a few days later and didn’t get a bum ache! (Great relaxing and comfortable drive). Also happy with the range.
let’s hope the ECU solves the problems.
August 22, 2024 at 11:15 pm #287313pinched from facebook
This is one of them posts I hate doing, but needs to be done to warn others sadly.
I’ve had the all new Peugeot 3008e for a few weeks now and have been doing a review However the car which is the GT model from Day’s Motor Group is full of faults and is on a recall.
Peugeot confirmed the 4g system built in is not working so they can’t update the car, and the app will not connect for charging or anything else (common fault) I’ve been told.
The electric boot is hit and miss as to weather it will fully close and sometimes you need to push it shut. ( loads of other with same fault)
Soundproofing is missing in some models (also a recall for that)
Factory forgot.to add wires for microphones so the systems don’t work ( also a recall for that)
Screens cut out when driving so can’t see the speedo or anything ( Peugeot have no fix yet)
Dealers service team who I have been trying for 2 weeks to contact called me today to say they know about some of the issues and are not allowed to handover 3008e or 5008e until they replace wires and have known about this for nearly 2 months and have run out of replacement parts and don’t know when more will arrive. When I pointed out to them handover was 3 weeks ago and you knew this car had a recall, he went quite.
Car will not charge as system is locked to deferred charging and app won’t work as 4g won’t work in the car,
Car bejng recovered and Peugeot seeking to provide temp car until this can be fixed which could be many months.
Im warning others of this as ive seen so many posts I other groups all having the same issues and Peugeot have confirmed they know but don’t have fixes for all the issues yet.
On a personal note I’m really upset the dealership at Day’s Peugeot lied to me as i asked about the issues before handover and was told they knew nothing about any recalls and yet yesterday and today they confirmed they did but can’t do anything about it and will not book the car in….hense Peugeot are taking over. Dealer said we are not Peugeot we are a dealer and Peugeot don’t tell us all the recalls.
Days have really gone down hill for sure sadly.
Anyways use caution if your looking at the 3008e and 5008e.August 22, 2024 at 11:59 pm #287316Wow that’s appalling if accurate. How can they put out cars with such obvious faults and then lie to customers
August 23, 2024 at 12:06 am #287317@PaulH if I was that guy, I would have rejected the car by now!
August 23, 2024 at 5:48 am #287329me too he is admin on a mobility forum on facebook so it should be accurate
August 23, 2024 at 8:39 am #287332These posts about E 3008 problems are extremely worrying.
I’ve tried searching for reports of these problems and I’m not finding up to date complaints. Plenty of ‘generic’ complaints about the ice 3008 software failures, but not a lot about the E 3008. This may well be down to how few cars have hit the roads yet in the UK, so it makes it almost impossible to check the extent of the problem.
Is it a general or specific problem etc. With that in mind I’m going to go into my dealer later and express my concerns about these issues. My car is somewhere in the system so I want some answers.
I hope that you guys can get satisfactory solutions to your completely unacceptable problems.
August 23, 2024 at 11:24 am #287343Pops I’m going to put a positive spin on this which you may have already thought off. There has been two recalls before my car was delivered. Head light problem and microphone problem. My car doesn’t have these issues so I have to believe that they were fixed before I took delivery.
I believe there may be a third recall regarding the parking break problem, it shouldn’t effect me as is in dealership for 4 days while I’m away. Hopefully then the other issues will have been sorted.
My thinking is that by the time you get the car all if not most of the problems will be sorted. A short drive home in the dark last night convinced me to keep the car as it’s a beautiful place to sit in. Until the parking break problem came back and the screens wouldn’t turn off, sigh lol.
I’ve a good car, with your packs it will be a cracking car and hopefully as you ain’t got it or even a rough date for delivery, then all these problems will be a thing of the past and by the time you do get it, then you will enjoy the car. Fingers crossed!
