Well this is what Goggle AI thinks! :
Yes, the smart #5 is very likely to be available on the Motability Scheme, as the smart brand has partnered with Motability and offers its electric cars to customers under the scheme, but official confirmation and model details will depend on the car’s release in the UK and its specific inclusion by Motability.
Why it’s likely:
Manufacturer Partnership: smart Cars has partnered with the Motability Scheme.
Electric Car Support: The Motability Scheme is actively expanding to include more electric cars, making it probable that the electric smart #5 would be a good fit.
How to find out for sure:
Check with Motability: The most reliable way to confirm is to check the Motability Scheme’s official website for updates on new vehicles, or contact them directly.
Look for UK Release Information: Keep an eye on news and announcements about the smart #5’s release in the UK, as Motability eligibility is tied to vehicles available for lease within the UK.
Visit a smart Dealership: Smart dealerships will be able to provide information on availability through the Motability Scheme.
September 24, 2025 at 12:18 pm #312987I doubt the new GLA will be on. I suspect, like Audi with the Q3, they are using Motability to offload old stock before the updated models arrive.
September 24, 2025 at 1:42 pm #312989if the #5 does make it i cant see it being a cheap AP given what the #3 is priced at
September 24, 2025 at 2:34 pm #312994Actually it is the CLA. Mercedes have currently 270+ CLA electric in stock, currently offering £4850 discount and some dealers already offer additional deposit contributions. This suggests they can’t shift them quick enough. There will be a slight model refresh in Q1 2026 (updated steering wheel with manual buttons and optional 400v charging) making the existing stock less desirable.
