Citreon C4 PicassoTook a leaf from your book Gloss Guy and have today ordered a Peugeot 5008. Also managed to get to go and look at one on Monday and even got a test drive, which was a bit naughty but everything was done outside with lots of distance and masks on. My gut feeling is there will be no reduction in price in Q2 and dealer has stock which means I should be changing on my actual lease end date.

Citreon C4 PicassoI’ve started trying to book test drives in. Conveniently the wife has the the 13th April off work so trying for then. I rang Seat and Peugeot. Seat got back in touch almost immediately all booked in with them good little chat with sales guy. Peugeot still haven’t even returned my call after two days.

Citreon C4 PicassoIt only achieved 4 stars in NCap which while not terrible I tend to expect 5 stars from everything in this day and age. The GT model doesn’t come with satnav (£650) or adaptive cruise (£200 driver assist pack). Which is on top of a pretty steep AP. But I will be considering it along side a 5008. On a positive towballs are a very responsible £500 on a lot of Peugeot cars. (1k on an XC40 ouch).

Citreon C4 PicassoI was comparing this and 5008 as need a large 7 seater. The Rifter wins hands down for space obviously but really struggle with equipment especially saftey. Which when you want to fill it with family is my no1 concern.

Citreon C4 PicassoWow indeed who would of thought the most powerful car on the scheme would be a 300hp Peugeot SUV. The specs on the models offered are good as well. With list prices around 40k what other possibilities could the future hold.

Citreon C4 PicassoReally nice car. I like the sound of Fords 3 clyinder, lots of character. Like the colour to, really like the greys especially the nardo grey of audi. I was quite surprised when the wife said she likes it and every car I look at she asks if it comes in that style of grey.

Citreon C4 Picasso@Clipped wings how do you find the 1.5tsi? Have the 1.4tsi and think its great but the Touran is lighter and the 1.4tsi is pre emmision clamp down so is more keen to rev but worse on fuel so I’ve read.

Have seen in a few photos on Autotrader that the newest Terraco’s have the new Tiguan climate controls. Look nice but are said to be horrible to use.

Citreon C4 Picasso@Clipped wings Allspace SEL is one of the cars on my list. Though the SEL at £2850 is too much for me right now. So looking at Terraco and 5008 around the £2.3k. Maybe the Allspace will get reduced, as it must be due an update soon, to mstch tbe rest of the range. So should the Touran for that matter.

Citreon C4 PicassoI don’t know about the Kona as such. But I have had three children in various car seats for the last 10 years. It comes down to the width of the car and the amount of space they can leave between the seat belts. If its a narrow car then the base of the car seat can end up on top of the seat belt retainer. I have had to have mpv cars for the last 10 years in order to fit 3 seats side by side as mpvs are wide bodied and have 3 individual chairs each designed for a child seat.
