<p style=”text-align: left;”>@GAMO so the difference between the edition and sportline is really just cosmetic? And both as someone else said have all the toys but one hasn’t got go faster stripes?</p>
The Skoda compare tool online ain’t working for me so can’t really compare side by side.Happy days.
It would be worth checking regarding the rear wiper on the Coupe. On the outgoing model the base version didn’t have a rear wiper unless you got the Clever pack. Since the Edition has most if not all of the clever and plus pack equipment then you would think the rear wiper would be included.
Cheers
A wild card here. Citroen Berlingo flair xtr multispace at £1895. It’s a van turned into an mpv so I presume the 5 seat version which has a good ap would be massive inside. Hud, keyless, pano roof, extra style bits n bobs, power fold mirrors.
I think I’ve talked myself into looking at it, as this time I’m going for practically over appearance. The rear sliding doors are handy which I noticed last night.
In a supermarket carpark and it was raining a guy with a walking frame and an old type ford with the sliding doors. Straight up to car slid side door open and sat frame in, opened his door and got in. He done this without moving. With ordinary doors he would have to have walked around the back door. Not saying that’s something you need but if you did, it was so quick and easy for him to do.
C5 aircross would definitely be a good shout. I’ve sat in one and found the seat very wide. Even whatcar review off it stated that the seats are wide and with not much support, but enough to hold you in place. If you need your seat back a fair bit and sometimes have rear seat passengers then the seats in the back can be moved forward and backwards.
Reviews were slightly mixed but not bad. Basically it’s a car built for comfort rather than thrills.
I went to see the bz4x twice. A strange thing with the floor which has been mentioned. When I sat in the driver’s seat I didn’t notice it, then sat in the back and noticed it straight away. With us driving and are legs being stretched out for the pedals it’s not really noticeable.
I went back the second time to see the boot and once again I couldn’t get it opened as there was no charge in it. I’m sure there’s a manual way of opening it from inside like my Kona, pulled the seat down and couldn’t see a thing to open it.
I’ll agree with @carmad with the Mégane. A friend has one and I think it’s quite nice, just to small for me.
I get you’re point, but I don’t mind as it’s usually comparing a car which is in the title thread against others which maybe seen by some as better or similar with lower ap.
I’ve sat in about 8 cars the last two weeks lol
I’ve had three courtesy cars while my cars been serviced or fixed and from three different dealers and never paid a penny.
Only thing I would say is, arrange with the garage early so you have a suitable car. In my case I need an auto which they usually don’t have so they need time to arrange one for me.
@Peter there is a long thread about the Enyaq problems just above yours. Have a read at that, it won’t help but will show you that it’s all a bit messed up and you’re not on your own.
Phew that’s a big help. In my defense I’ve had 1 brain hemorrhage and 7 strokes so my brain usually has a sign up saying ‘puter says noooo’ lol.
It’s like that Enyaq thread it has me completely bamboozled. I honestly can’t work out if the Enyaq is still on the scheme and what models are. There’s two much information and brain just says feck that.
Mind I can’t order until mid February so I’ll have 1 quarter just passed and 1 quarter approaching. Not to worried about new cars coming on (as they usually have the highest ap). Just that there’s a few cars I really like now and hoping with two new quarters I may get a great deal on one of them.
Ps sorry Mike lol
Yeah I seen it on someone’s post yesterday and checked with motabillities website. Ends end of December.
I’ve had a look online and while new car prices are expected to take a slight drop they are still way more expensive than they were a few years ago.
I might drop them an email to see if it will be extending it as nothing much has changed. I believe it’s mobility operations I need to contact.
Did someone just say big… well I shall go to the Toyota dealership near me tomorrow and have a look.
I live beside motorcity IE Boucher road Belfast which has every dealer from masserati to mini, fait to Ferrari and even the crap Tesla’s
November 10, 2023 at 8:30 pm in reply to: Anyone been tho Ohme process tell me what this means? #242961The way I’ve read that is that they are going to let plugme make the decision is to whether it’s getting fitted.
Mike would the tyres have been overinflated or set for a fully occupied car. I’ve had bad tyre problems this week and still am, but my pressure was always 33 for comfort and Kwik fit set them all to 36 yesterday, even the other half mentioned ‘this car is really bumpy now’ even before I said it.
Ah I didn’t know that. It would be good then.
Confiscated have you read the reviews of the 4wheel steering? I have read from ‘not very good’ to ‘not dangerous but mildly distracting’. No good reviews on it especially on country roads.
Superb car mind and probably the car that will make me go back to an ICE
Yes. £300 here in NI and went in a few days ago.
I may be wrong, but pretty sure I’ve read on here that they never enforce it.
Martin mobility are good when it comes to a vehicle not suitable for your needs. They even waived the 250 fee for me.
Best thing you could do is try a and find a suitable stock car are you will be stuck with the current car for between 6 months to a year waiting on a new build car.
Remember even an extended test drive will never be close to having and using the car everyday.
My first car was returned after about 3 months due to not being able to use the clutch. The only thing they were fussy about is whether you had a test drive which you did. Also I would just stick to the ‘now not suitable for my disability’ excuse and say nothing about the other stuff. GL
If I remember right the Kona premium went down to around 500ap which I think just made a lot of folk including myself jump, which was strange as it would have been our first ev. Great car for the ap tbh.
I’m going to see how far I can go back into threads and see what was hot and why.
Can the Enyaq be precondition remotely like the Kona. That is the biggest selling point on any car I’d want now.
Defrost and heat the car on bitter winter mornings. Or cool down on hot summer days before you get in.
Jo I’m with power NI on an EV tariff. At night I think it’s about 12-13p a KW.
Belfast4 I’d imagine that the seats would take up a lot of room when down. While car camping would be fun it would not be priority tbh.
Yes Steve there ain’t much for a large family especially if one needs chairs, scooters etc.
Sonny is remember that thread as it was a car I was looking at. I don’t think it was trolling tbh. The internet is full of people complaining about the gearbox problems.
Mg owners give it 35% in a reliability poll, with the 1st being electrical problems and 2nd the gearbox.
That would not put me off tbh as there’s a chance I may not encounter these problems, and if I did I would just hand it back and would not put up with long off road periods as they try to fix it.
Tbh the lack of tinted windows put me off more than the gearbox problems lol
