My full name, DOB, gender, postal address, phone number, email address, VIN number, reg number.
That would probably explain the spam calls, texts and emails the last few days.

I have replied to them calling out that my contract was with them and not their contractors and asked how they plan to compensate me financially as now I understand where from the spike in nuisance calls comes from.
I guess they will ignore or reply some nonsense.

Motability VW Touran Family Pack May 2019 (happy customer)October 2, 2025 at 10:15 pm #314767Yeah never thought about the fact that it was a third party. Mind probably buried in the T&C’s that they will/can do it.
The funniest call was this morning. I don’t answer numbers I don’t recognise unless I’m expecting a call. So a voice message was left in what sounded like am Asian Chinese accent with the worst broken English I’ve heard telling me I need to do x y z as my insurance with my GP had run out.

October 2, 2025 at 11:55 pm #314780I had the email from Renault today telling me
The third-party provider established that your data was included, which means the attackers have access to some or all of the following information:
•
First name & surname
•
Gender
•
Phone number
•
Email address
•
Postal address
•
Vehicle Identification Number
•
Vehicle registration number
We do not hold any financial details for you, so no bank details formed part of the cyber-attack.The email looks genuine, but
Thing is I’ve never owned a Renault 🤭🤭🤭Tom…
October 3, 2025 at 3:47 am #314787It is a bit strange. Google suggests that quite a few people had the email but never owned Renaults. Maybe owned one of the brands under their umbrella?
Also think the 3rd party was a financial part of the company are something like that. Why would a financial part of the company have my details if I’m not the customer?
Finally absolutely nothing about it online from Renault themselves. Maybe they rushed the email out and are now locked in talks with the legal eagles to get them to make it a soft landing for them lol
October 3, 2025 at 6:27 am #314790i got the email yesterday, the only thing ive ever done with renault is request brochures for models i was looking at.
October 3, 2025 at 1:19 pm #314912I got a sim for my personal stuff, so that number is only for family and friends. Also a Sim and number for everything else.
So far am not getting any spam calls.
