Drifting threads

A big gripe of mine is when you look at the title of a thread only to go in it and find that it’s completely drifted from what it is supposed to be about, A good example if the Ford Mustang thread that now seems to be all about a Hyundai. I’m not trying to nitpick but if I wanted to read about a Hyundai, I would look up that particular car. It’s frustrating having to read through loads of posts that are irrelevant to the topic being discussed.

          Guilty, apologies.

It would help if there was a messaging facility where we could privately chat.

I get you’re point, but I don’t mind as it’s usually comparing a car which is in the title thread against others which maybe seen by some as better or similar with lower ap.

In part this is down to us Mods. I guess we have taken our eyes off the ball regarding this. However. With all the other stuff going on in the back ground here We have been other wise focused on that.

If Topic owners can flag us if you feel your topic is drifting off topic them please flag @joss or @POPS about this. We will remove posts if necessary.

Remember it’s YOUR topic so the onus is on you to warn posters they are going off topic. If they continue to ignore you, then that is the time to let us, the mods know.

Great answer, really good the know it’s OK to do this. It does happen quite often.
