Thanks all it will take a bit off getting used too, a few times I’ve buckled up pressed the start then realised it only petrol starts if battery is low, no petrol take off I’m finding strange, prefer the roar if I’m honest..

@kezo feels larger everywhere compared to the Volvo, love the double screen (bit complicated at the mo), when the Salesman jumped into the xc40, he said wow this is compact, how did you put up with it for 5 yrs, he said seat is awful too, must say the mg seats seem to soft, so he might have a point..

If I had to renew today and EV was out id order this and I’m basing it mostly on the fact that the old model I had as a hire car impressed me so much, especially the comfortable seats. I can only imagine it has got better.

Oh and in my personal taste I think this and the e3008 are the best looking cars on the road now.

When you were in the showroom did you see the mg cyberster? I’m not really a car man, but that was stunning in the red colour.

@kezo we’re on a short break…

Motorway driving (acc) 10 out of 10

Country lanes, one foot driving, in & out of bends….. 10

Comfortable seats, suspension and ride I’d say finding it much better than 5yrs in the Xc40, nice high seats great help for me getting in and out…… 10

Bad parts the boot cover one of the pull over, roll out type, thin & flimsy completely cr@p imo, bings bongs are absolute boll•#*$, Oh and Mrs aj have ordered a usb plug in thing for some tech stuff…

All in all I’m chuffed to bits with the car, we’re loving it, atm we’re getting 49-50 average mpg, hopefully as time goes on even higher..

Loads of room in all seats, we picked my Son up and I decided to jump in the rear seat atleast 4” head space to the roof, lots of leg space we’re both 6’3”+ so even with his seat back still lots of space..

Not see engineer menu for latest model, but won’t be to disimilar to existing. I’ll keep looking!

Got my gcb bonus paid in, with the offer posted in @BigDave offers/deals nil AP, I’m really pleased with my choice..

Ive mentioned it else where, before you tap in the PIN number even up to an hour to go before pick up, check BigDave deals the man’s a true treasure here..

Bings bongs can be annoying, I have once covered the eye detection on front pillar that can be a pain too, also  turned the lane assist off..

must say tested it out on a few over takes on certain roads (really slow drivers) it responds well enough to get you where you need nicely..

So used the app this morn to heat the car, seats & steering wheel, all worked fine, later in the morning, Wife jumps in display in Chinese 🤣…

So big shock wtf👀, went out me pressing allsorts🥴, had breakfast, came back unlocked the car back to English display..

Typed in it’s happened to others also, bit weird tbh..
