Thanks for the suggestion folks. Yes a panoramic sunroof would be a great addition and option this time and I am so gutted to hear that the Tiguan have removed this but it’s abit disgusting with all the options costing a fortune. You actually read my mind, I was just looking at the BMW also great standard options but I am amazed with all the knowledge and suggestion you folks have and I couldn’t be more thankful.
You know what, I was looking at the Touran but now that you’ve mentioned they have Pano roof as standard on the Match trim I am amazed. I called the Johnson dealership and they quoted 6 months whereas Listers quoted 12 months for the Tiguan Allspace so that’s a serious no. He did say they added the Touran to ease the pressure off the demand for the Tiguans. The new standard Tiguan is a big no. The Kodiaq I was leaning towards but now that you’ve said £1,750 for a pano roof is absolutely shocking. That will have to be a big miss.
The BMW looks great but the Touran Match is giving me the quality of options inside ok the looks may not be great but it would be great if it was on the R-Line as couple years ago it would just be SE SEL and R Line etc. Whereas now its Life Match just these funky names and options mixing and matching. I can see the vehicles are starting to look horrendous too.
Everyone is hyping the Tuscon or Tucson 😆 especially the electric phase but I am still old school yet. I did drove the previous model as a courtesy and it was a great ride I must say and big!
I’m guessing i’ve got an option between Touran Match and BMW as Marshall BMW are offering £500 off also on top of the £750!
Is the drive good on the Touran Match?? Practicality and space wise along with a pano roof as standard is a bargain! Shame the SEL and R-Line don’t have the same standard options I really don’t know why.
Joss, are dashcams allowed on Motability vehicles? I do remember a thread about dashcams as you must ask RSA first but I have been hesitant as there were some concerns.
Richard, well that’s the closest BMW will come to fakeness and that’s an added option also which is a compliment for them. So my hats off to BMW keeping the genuine parts and features going.
Glos Guy, I believe I have the adaptive headlights, I mean its pretty much standard yet the headlights a are beyond bright! Even the indicators are brighter in the dark which almost blinded my neighbour.
Tharg, I have no idea what it sounds like. Thanks for sharing your experience and yes I believe it is that silly sound when you accelarate. That’s disappointing if you cannot turn it off.
Joss, Ha ha real exhaust pipes right there. I think it just helps with the driving experience but from what i’m hearing it’s doing the opposite! Fake imaginary experience.

Unfortunately, reading through the thread and at many attempts on different days, browsers, and accounts, I too have also given up so I don’t mind waiting for the cheque. I thought maybe perhaps it could save time but i’ll stick with the old school method ? Thanks everyone.
Are you feeling it more on your spine? If it’s more around the outside area I’d suggest seeing a genuine Osteopath, they do help.
I went to see a physiotherapist after my accident back in 2018 and he used something called a TENS machine. It made such a difference after one day. I ended up getting one from Lloyds Pharmacy it made a difference here and there, primarily alot due to seating position in the car. Only problem with TENS is you cannot apply it onto the spine due to nerves.
Later down the line I realised I had a long term issue something called Spondyloarthiritis so sadly I am on injections. I did see an Osteopath so i’d recommend them. Chiropractitioners can be a bit harsh, depends how you take it. This is from my experience.
Unfortunately it has been removed George, they removed the 320i first and now the 318i. I’m glad I ordered it last July and took collection of it November 2020. I also ordered the 320i Touring and I have to say I agree with Alan, it is amazing.
Is a saloon something you’re interested in George or is it just higher bhp? They’ve just released the GTD onto the scheme and to be fair it is something you rarely get like the 320i depending if it meets your needs as the boot of a GTD is quite small and the rear passengers etc.
Finally Vlad! Bloody ell, you will love the drive!
I also agree with you Glos Guy. I am well enjoying the Touring, its bootspace is just beyond great and it drives wonderfully smooth!

Also, does anyone know what the diamond button on the keyfob do? Still trying to figure it out since November!
Hi George, yes this does include the “Hey BMW” feature. I currently have the vehicle and spec but I haven’t come about to testing this feature as I look like a complete idiot speaking to a automated controller ?. It’s not really needed if you’re hands on yourself. But ID7 software is 10/10.
TheSUVGuy, I hope they don’t follow Mercedes footsteps becausr those iPad dials are awful! It just feels like as if someone will snap it off! BMW probably thought it’s time for a change considering their interior looking similar every year.
Ali, sorry I haven’t been able to get a chance to take some pics for you. I have been really feeling fatigued lately really bad. I intend to take some pics of the interior from the back seat as day/night for you. Otherwise, check this thread out, page 3, few members had their Saloons and it’s really nice!

Had no idea you could purchase your Motability vehicle. What does this “Transitional Support Package” involve if I may ask? No harm in asking Motability of their asking price of purchasing.

I have read few pages and it is very good explanatory and a break down of everything. Hopefully it can help me fill the review form out in the future. It’s just really stressful and time consuming, the worst ever paperwork I face filling out!

Will definitely be a 10/10 by next week once i’ve got to know all of the features inside!
Saying that, I had a VW Golf GT before. Giving that a 6/10 primarily due to the problems I faced with timing belt, engine coolant and reverse braking noise!

Well, it’s the only way to catch the motorist lying frauds! Alot of it is to do with insurance and watching our own back. Have you seen the insurance prices in certain areas now?
Speaking of dash cams. Does anybody know of any decent dash cam they know or own? As long as it’s clear in the daytime and at night is all I want. There is too many to choose from! The Nextbase have so many my head is confused. Something not too expensive nor cheap.
It does look dull and small in the daytime but I must admit when I first saw this car a few days ago early hours in the morning driving in the dark, it looked like a spaceship! As soon as I saw it I shook my head thinking what on earth is that! It was a ID 3, it does look beautiful eyecatching. Kinda like a Up pumped up in steroids.
Can’t even keep the streets clean let alone staying green. It’s all just to keep the environmentalists happy.
Yes John it may be close but the question is it’s been in the UK since 27/10. What on earth is going on? It should only take a week from there which is i’d say 9th Nov. Live chat also said week of 8th Nov. It’s the 20th today, still no clear answer. If it is built earlier than expected it should be delivered earlier just as fellow members are receiving it early.
I like how there is a variety of specs but Audi aren’t providing much in terms of power. 150hp is pretty much what they seem to be sticking with. I have to admit there are some 150hp that do give decent push but i’ll have to pass.
Also, the new facelift does look very claustrophobic and cramped. Just looking at the squinting front headlights and tail lights puts me right off, it’s as if it’s being squashed, suffocated and I can’t even breathe looking at it. In essence I just feel sorry for it.
I mean if there was a delay or problem at the Port, the dealer would inform me. The only response I get is we’re waiting for upto 10 other vehicles also to arrive on a transporter. I hope i’m wrong but here’s me thinking I have to wait for other vehicles YOUR dealership orders to build, wait for them also and sacrifice my time?
I love it how dealers try and play it smart. On my order note it says est 30/11/20. Live chat say it is built earlier than expected and should’ve arrived last week. Now the dealer says the 30th is not arrived yet. I hope it is a Port issue otherwise I will get answers and forward a complaint to Motability about them.
I’m on the same boat but with bmw. Ordered mid July. It’s been 3 and a half weeks now the vehicle is sitting at the Port and I was told delivery was the week of last week. Emailed the dealer to be only told they’re waiting on other vehicles also. Quite frustrating.
As Joss mentioned, a picture would help to judge if you can Karen. I have a dent on the side of my bonnet/wing mirror. Called the insurance and they said not to worry about it, it comes under wear and tear. I reiterated that this is a rather bad looking dent. In the end, they posted a letter out to me to take with me to the dealership if they mention anything about it. It won’t be a problem, do not worry.
Bmw Live Chat: The status of your car is “in transit or storage”. The estimated time of arrival is the week commencing Nov 8, 2020.
So definitely in storage as it is the 13th today. Fingers crossed for next week!
