I love it tbh. Enjoy the motor ?
Is the 85 in, or when will the 85 start appearing in dealerships?
BYD Atto 3. Motabillity say ‘enormous 555ltr boot’ all the reviews I’ve read, then just read now to double check say the boot is 440ltr. That’s a big difference tbh.
MF the sat nav in my Kona is a joke.
It’s not bad it’s absolutely useless. Always the longest and slowest way.
I’ve tried android auto and just didn’t get along with it tbh.
I mentioned it before on here thinking that it might be something to do with economy but nope, it’s just useless.
You sound very flexible on choice so a stock car may suit you.
Happy days Phaedra
The Enyaq coupe is a hatch and the 6 is a saloon so unfortunately no use to me. But I like it.
I wish this was an Enyaq v 5 instead of 6 or even better the 6 came as an estate or at least hatch
If the 6 worked for me it would be top of my list tbh. I think it’s beautiful inside and out tbh.
Quite a few vids on people using the ioniq 5 for camping and overnight its used 4 to 5 percent battery in Utility mode.
I recon you should go camping and let us know ?
As car camping is my top priority I played around with the 5s fancy front seats last week. You wouldn’t need to bother with the boot and back seats down lol
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Cheers Pudsey.

John have you compared specs from the Enyaq and bz4x? Is there much of a difference?Wasn’t there a few early EVs that had a launch control thingy which made a fast car a faster car from a standing start? I think they were scrapped after a few accidents.
So far the coldest I’ve got into the Kona EV is -3 and I’ve never had that problem.
I just use a screen wash from B&M.

I must say I am with des, I think the car looks more different/stunning with the Gold and Black body with the black roof. But thank goodness we don’t all go for the same car in the same colour, as it would make it a boring old world. Any body else noticed that the two cars are different, the handles (especially the back door) are different.

John the picture I posted is of a top model which has has the pop out door handles compared to the ordinary door handles.I also read that the top model has electric ones that pop out themselves and and others you have to press them to come out… Actually that might be the ioniq 5? I saw a lot of cars that day as Dacia, nissan, vauxhall, Renault, Toyota, Hyundai are all part of one building and all next to each other.
Can’t you precondition your diesel van 10mins or so before going anywhere?
We are not that kind of household, there is NEVER 10 minutes before only 10 minutes late. I also have a ‘bit of a thing’ for parked cars with their engine running.
This is us with a teen and a five year old.
I drove old transits for years and you described vans perfectly. Cold, damp and I’ll add mouldy. Depressing things.
I couldn’t find your post about preheating, it’s a game changer and on the top of my must have list tbh. Also don’t underestimate the pre-cooling on hot days.
Anyway back on topic. Where’s all the real world ranges as I know a few on here were getting 300+ from there konas?
Also I think I had what some people call a Friday built car. My range was nowhere like what other folk got so I started looking and thinking and noticed that there was a big gap between bonnet and front of car, I also looked at other konas to compare and most were flush or very close, mine had about a 7-8mm gap. After a few Google’s I found that the bonnet could be adjusted to lower it and it now sits fairly flush. I also think this added about 30-40 miles range to a full charge.
Just took the Kona off the charge this morning to do the school run and it was -2 here.
Range at 100% was 243 and the car was defrosted and nice and warm. Also I drive it like any car I’ve had as I don’t need to conserve power.
I can’t remember summer range as I’ve a head like a sieve.
Edit. I live in a very small city and I’m probably 60% city 40% motorway, dual carriageway. Music always on, heat 21/22 degrees fan 1 on and off as I’m always cold anyway.
Eco mode auto and set at 2.

From what I’ve gathered on here it would be better to track your car and find the dealership that’s selling it as you will get it for around the same price as from motabillity, but also get a warranty.
November 30, 2023 at 10:37 pm in reply to: I saw the most beautiful car I’ve ever seen today #250476A stunning looking car. I saw a picture of a black and red one which was also beautiful.
A colour of car has never really took much of my attention but I always loved the British racing green on a few of my old rovers and the Mazda red is stunning too.
@Pudsey like you I think it’s a great looking car. I also prefer the interior over my 1st choice the Enyaq. I’ve never compared them so might do that now.
They are definitely available as my local Volvo dealer has been running a big radio advertising campaign for motabillity even listing which ones and I think price.
Phaedra I’m a bit early as I can’t order until mid February but the Enyaq is top of the list, but there’s something that I really like about the BZ4X
Keezo I once had an Alfa so would not be worried about the wheels falling off lol
Abercol I’ve put up a thread with a few measurements of the bzx4. Don’t rule it out until you see them and compare with your current car.
Yes, I’m the same.
I might just keep my granny charger and hope they don’t miss it.
It will help me in a big way tbh. I’m really struggling with some of the brands websites. It’s as if they’ve made them more complicated or maybe my brain has just give up another few cells.
The Skoda one has me bamboozled tbh. Suite, eco suite, lounge which I think are just all interior colours. 80s now the 85? But we still have 60s, is that just the smaller battery version. Loft, edition, sportline I get, but I just want a simple tool to compare those trims side by side (Skoda website has this but its not working). I’ve read a lot on here that the coupe doesn’t have a rear wiper, Skoda brochure says it does? Also the motabillity site for the Enyaqs is a bit messed up.
Basically Mark will be doing a lot of the work I should be doing but sometimes my brain just says ‘no’
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Well I wouldn’t really need it just thought it might be handy. Sand would be what I would probably have more problems with. Not so much mucky fields. So after a bit of research tonight I’ve found that by keeping a few simple tools in the boot then I’d be grand.

Anyway what I now lack in physical ability I’ve made up for it with common sense, so I will probably never be stuck lolCheers folks. Most of that I could live without as I like comfort more, mind I do like the styling of the sportline.
The 4×4 is appealing to me as I’m going to start car camping and there are many rural places we’re that may come in handy tbh.
