Would the Sat Nav not just be telling you to keep in the right lane or move over to the right lane if on a multi carriageway road on you way to the M11?
My Mercedes Sst Nav & my TomTom both give clear instructions to select the correct carriageway in plenty of time before the actual manoeuvre.

diamondbrite is rubbish because they aren’t the professionals in being able to care and protect the car. Ceramic coating privately is around 600 if you want it doing properly but Motability prohibit ceramic coating. Dealers will say that they ceramic coat but it’s the diamondbrite stuff which is rubbish for what it is sold as. check out honest John reviews.
Why would Motability prohibit a product that would protect its investment? Surely a Ceramic protected car would be a good thing for them?

There’s not much on the MY25 face-lift then worth waiting for! If anything they’ve took more off than they’ve added! I don’t think I’ll be waiting another 9 months for one of those!

If I decide to accept mine next week I’ll have a look at that! I’m still gutted that I didn’t get the car I ordered after nearly 9 months of waiting! I’m still trying to find out where it went wrong, for what it’s worth! A deals still up in the air so it could go either way!
If I re order at least it would be a MY25 face-lift model, whatever difference that is?

Still waiting for them to come back to me! The lad that phoned me yesterday to advise me that the car had arrived, did seem surprised when I asked about the Advanced pack, he had to go and double check if it had it or not. My regular contact is on holiday so can’t ask him at the moment what has happened! Either way, I’m still gutted! It feels like that favourite Xmas box you wanted but never got feeling! 😕

Trouble is, I’ve asked to go and see the car and they’ve refused saying its in one of their compounds at the moment & they don’t know which one! Still waiting for them to call back about the deal we discussed!

Seems strange that I never got a VIN during the build or even after. So I can’t say that the car that was built for me was actually the car I’m being offered?
We’ll see what today brings and how reasonable they are at compensating my disappointment & the contract breach between us!

Anyone know what the mark up is that dealers put on Alloys, Heat Pump etc?
There must be a difference between trade & retail costs?

I’ve had a good conversation with the dealer and I’m trying to do a deal as compensation for delays, disappointment & for not honouring their part of the contract!
They are ringing me in the morning to let me know if a deals done!

Mine has arrived at the dealership, had a call this morning. Its the right car but looks to be missing the Advanced pack I ordered. Awaiting confirmation on whether its fitted or not!
If it’s not theb there’s choices to make!
They are also pushing for handover next week, I said I couldn’t do it due to a house move next week and want 1st week Sept which of course would be a 74 plate!

I must admit that I’m a little apprehensive about using all the driving aids, something I’ve got to get used to. Only got cruise & speed limiter on the Mercedes although I do use them when able! It’s currently in at the MB specialist having some repairs & a service, £1400 apparently to pay out tomorrow! The Enyaq delivery delay has cost me!

I wonder if the MY25 face-lift will have the Skoda lettering on the bonnet instead of the badge?
Skoda’s new design cars all gave bonnet lettering. That’s why you can tell the AI generated models on YouTube that are fake as they still show the badge not the Skoda name!
I think Skoda are just following what other manufacturers have done!

The Zeekr 007 Sedan has the new battery tech, probably solid state. As Zeekr are owned by Geely who are massive, part owners of Volvo, Renault, Mercedes, Proton etc. So we should see the technology filter through into other brands!
They are lovely looking cars, filled with tech like the BYD’s. It’s the import Tarrifs that’s killing them for Europe.

I think the December 2023 orders are starting to come through now, even some January orders are showing as built & in transit. It looks like the timescale will be 9 months from order to delivery!
I’m really looking forward to getting mine, a little apprehensive about the charging set up but, I’m sure there’s enough help on here should I run into a problem!
I’ll be using 2 home chargers between my house & my mother’s, a Ohme Pro & a Zappi so it will be interesting to compare the two!

Latest update from the Skoda dealer! Still no sign of the car’s whereabouts other than its in build, for the last 3 weeks! Apparently, the factory has been on holiday/re-tool shutdown for two weeks, they started back in production this week 22nd July 24.
That would explain my car entering the production process but not exiting it!
We’ll have to see what next week brings! A bit fed up again now! 😴

Still trying to trace where my car order is in the manufacturing system. It was supposed to have been built week 27 1st week in July. At the moment I’ve got no indication that the car was built, there is no chassis number showing on the system & there’s been no adjusted build date to say it’s been moved back!

Well, another week gone by & still in the dark! According to my contact at the Skoda dealership, the car should have gone into build 3 weeks ago! It’s not showing as built, there’s no chassis number and no other build week showing! So I’m not sure what’s going on and the dealership don’t seem to know!
Surely there should be some visibility on the Skoda system, it can’t just dissappear, can it?

Finally collected my car yesterday, ordered 30/12 I absolutely love it. Despite some claiming the Sportline was too harsh it’s fine on our C roads as long as you turn Lane keep assist off, maybe I’m spoilt as I was driving an MG HS hire car so maybe I’m used to that but it’s gorgeous

Today’s update! Car should have gone into build last week. As of today, its not showing any build date but also there is no chassis number coming up according to my contact at the dealership. So, the car must still be in build, after 2 weeks! I would have thought a chassis number would show as the car went into build.
Oh well, it looks like it’s a wait & see game!
