I ordered a 85x Sportline Coupe on the 27th Dec which was modified on the 2nd Jan due to an error on the order. My mobility account still shows the correct car & AP of £2699 -£750.

How long will it be before the factory confirms the order & could it still be cancelled?

From the information I have seen and from what I have read, the glass roof in the Enyaq Coupe is coated with special coatings which deflect sun & heat and also insulate against cold. So the cabin should be a pleasant place to be in all weather conditions.

That’s great news about your discount, it sounds like your dealer is clued up!

The estimated delivery date for my Sportline plus coupe has just been put back to the 24th May. Ordered it on 27th Dec. Hopefully I’ll get a firmer date when the factory confirms the order.

I can’t understand why manufacturer’s don’t fit them as standard anyway. Most modern cars have cameras fitted anyway so it would only be a case of expanding that system & I would have thought the cost would be minimal! Maybe it will happen in the future!

Has anyone bought & fitted one of these dashcams?

They look straight forward to fit, just piggyback the rain sensor connection. The video on Youtube is in Spanish but I think it looks easy enough. They come in the two colours too to match the headlining.

If you go onto the Skoda website, you can configure your car & it lists everything you get. It also allows you to change colours, wheels etc so you can see what your car will look like. Worth doing so you make the right choices!

There must be a good reason why they’ve done that, maybe it’s to do with the recuperation or something!

I test drove the Sportline plus coupe and believe me, the drums don’t affect performance, I hammered that test car and it never faltered! The breaking was really positive for a car weighing over 2 tonnes, and in regen mode (B) you don’t really need it anyway! It’s a great car and I’m sure we’ll be over the moon when we get them!

The Enyaq Sportline plus coupe I ordered last week has dropped to £2599 AP from £2699 but I think I’ll leave my order as it is now and just ask the dealership to throw some goodies in as goodwill, mats, etc.

It’s a lot of car for the AP and monthly motability lease, I think my order came out at over £56k. Happy Days! ?

I’ve just been watching the Skoda Enyaq factory production line on YouTube and I must say, it’s very impressive! But one thing struck me and made me think a little about production & deliveries.

In the video, all the car cars on the line are LH drive and all the robots, tool dies, press machines & even the human workforce are geared up to produce a LH drive car. So, bearing that in mind, to produce a RH drive model all this has to change. I would suspect that the factory schedules in certain weeks or week for RH model production and that only happens once the order book is full enough to make it worth changing the line. So UK orders are dependant on that production phase. I might be wrong & please correct me if I am?

Regarding the heat pump, I’ve read & researched this for a few weeks & it’s a bag of ? worms. My personal opinion is that manufacturers would not waste valuable R&D time & money developing something that was not needed. The fact that it is part of the heating/cooling circuit equipment initially makes me think it was designed to be like this & only stripped out from the original heating/cooling circuit to save money and maybe make money by adding it as an option. The production video I have seen shows this to be one unit built up of several sections with valves controlling the flow of fluid & air. I’ve read somewhere on one of the forums from someone who accessed the VAG group data on how this all works & what it actually does, there’s also an Audi Q4 video that shows the complete heating/cooling unit in operation and what it actually does. So based on that, I made my decision to include one. On the Skoda product heat pump video the lady says ” Not having a heat pump is detrimental to the range & battery capacity of the car”. It will be interesting to come back here in 12 months time & read this again and compare our thoughts on actual experience!

Hi all,

I’ve just joined the forum after reading all the threads and finding them very informative & interesting.

I ordered a Skoda Enyaq Coupe Sportline plus 4×4 85x in moon white metallic with advanced pack, heat pump & 21″ Supernova black metallic wheels 3 days ago with my local Skoda dealership. The order form says that the estimated delivery date is 16th May although I was told 12 to 14 weeks is possible. So fingers crossed.

I test drove the exact same car last week and was so impressed that I placed the order straight after the Christmas break. The ride was impressive even though the car sat on the 21″ alloys & its over 2 tonnes in weight. The cornering was firm, I had the salesman clinging onto the seat bolsters around a few roundabouts! The build quality is excellent and the specification of equipment is quite comprehensive compared to other cars I tried in the same class. The power of the motors propelled the car to a stage that it knocked the salesman back into his seat and with hardly a murder from under the bonnet. What a car! I got my order in now as surely a car of this class & price can’t stay at the AP of £2699? Or even stay on the list, Monday the 1st of January will tell!

So, I’m looking forward to joining in the conversations about the Enyaq & sharing experiences from order to collection & beyond!
