It never gets better only worse when the next one comes along. Then they pull it back a tiny little bit and we all feel blessed. Same now with the cost of living crisis. You meen the result of lockdowns crisis. The new normal. We’re conditioned to easily, what’s you favourite? personally I don’t do favourites as it restrict’s choice.

Yeah and they saw to it that there’s no other realisticalternative. As they control the choices, like no proportional representation was on offer but as is or alternative vote, when we was asked to reform the voting system, but yet it is in scotland as that makes them have less overall power and everything they do is to keep ulitmate control of us the people and the illusion we have a say in politics.

We are all slaves to the system and that system is slowly being replaced, as any system only lasts for so long.

What a tragic state of affairs, Imagine you went to a car dealer and paid the same for a 3 year old car as you would for a brand new one, would you feel happy or ripped off.

I Do think they should be encouraging us to keep cars longer as it’s better for the enviroment and that should be reflected in lower payments.

Mb don’t care as they’re making more profits so they can donate more to other causes and projects they funding.. If they did care they would allow users to order earlier then 3 months as they know there’s long waits for many cars that still available on the scheme.

3/4 less than there was before and that many will extend as what’s on offer the ap’s are too expensive or not suitable for one’s needs. Their last six months report said this, so they are well aware but do nothing about it, in fact they’re milking the crisis imo. if the car makers honor the price for private customers waiting longer, then why not for scheme users ordering earlier. As you wouldn’t be extending then and that’s what they want you to do. Who’s running these projects and on the payroll that mb are funding imo needs looking into as they gotta be profiting somehow from all this capital.

I didn’t think the DWP could move a claimant from DLA to PIP if they are over pension age, PIP is only for people of working age.

Getting PIP after you’ve reached State Pension age
          This advice applies to England
If you’re already getting PIP, it will continue when you reach State Pension age. You can check your State Pension age on GOV.UK.

Most people can’t make a new claim for PIP after they reach State Pension age. You might be able to make a new claim if:

you had a PIP award that stopped in the last year
you’re getting Disability Living Allowance (DLA) – or it stopped in the last year
You can’t claim PIP if you were born before 9 April 1948.

There never is accountability as then the next person comes along and replaces those before and all is forgotten about and onto the next crisis.

How much money is lost in these huge contracts to slim the bill down and it always ends up costing more as a few cheat the system all must suffer. labour are not any better imo they’re all crooks but we’re regarded as the crooks, for having a disability.

I think it would be fairer if the GCB was monthly pro-rata same as the AP is. Both are part of the three year lease conditions. Why is one calculated per year and the other per month?

I guess one is what we pay towards the car and the other is a geture of good will.

At least they increased the gcb from what it was when i first joined the scheme £200 for 3 years. I got more than that back for 1 year in june.

I will never extend my lease again as it doesn’t make sense to me.

The only sense it makes, is for them to make more profits and people will extend as then they’re avoiding paying such high ap’s or can keep the car they have longer as non on the scheme are suitable or affordable for them, but who benefits from that also at the end of the lease or if any added extra’s are added.

I have never added an extras or extended past 3 years except for during the 1st lockdown as i was due to exchange in april 2020 and couldnt pick up the car.

Now with the extreme long waits for cars on the scheme, if they actually honor your order your lucky and don’t cancel on you after a years wait to have to order again. More and more will be extended and more profits will be made. That money will go towards projects and charities outside the scheme.

Leaving the scheme when i got my new car in 4 weeks seems a real good move for us now and I can see many having to leave or get something unsuitable to remain mobile especially if you extended already for 5 years.

Most work on profit margins so the more something costs the more they make from selling it. Same as the goverments 20% on vat. So for me it’s no surprise and it’s all part of the plan to move to globalisation and one currency and a global goverment. it won’t happen tommorow but slowly slowly we moving in that direct and they will use every crisis they create to push us towards it.

The problem is nothing is free and any handouts need to be paid for later at an added cost because of the interest and the debt just grows and grows and right now all they do is increasethe ceiling.

look at the debt clocks https://www.nationaldebtclock.co.uk/

uk Interest per Year £ 52,383,241,722

and the usa’s main debt clock gives the overall picture.

Sounds to me like they’ve made a mistake and not put you in the protected group kezo as that’s the only way you can stay on cbesa after 12 months as then you automatically get switched to ibesa.

Pip and esa are two different benefits ones as you cannot work, the other dla/pip, is help with your condition, which there are 2 elements care and mobility. Pip/dla though should not count towards any income.

I remember when they switched me over from dla to pip it took almost a year and my allowance for care was increased due to my condition getting worse. It didn’t get back dated to when i made the claim for pip as it would do if you applied for pip and was not being switched over.

My mum had dla and then became a pensioner so the mobility part she still got but when switching her over to pip they removed her life long award (she got awarded after she took them to tribunal) and said that she no longer qualifed for the mobility part as she was not of working age, she had started to suffer a bit of dementia, no one really knew much until my brother got a letter from mb about taking the car back. shocking really how they treat people with disabilities and seeing as i got runover when i was 9 i’ve had virtually a life time of problems since and having to deal with the system.

When I contacted them to inform them I would be leaving the scheme as I was getting a car off the scheme. I was told how much GCB I would receive beforehand and was no surprise at all.

                      1 year £250 and 2 years £400

Gave my scheme car back after having it just under 2 years as the new car arrived and got £250 GCB.

Although I did also get a little over 1/3 of the advance payment back I had made and that worked out differently was on a monthly basis.

had I waited for the 2 years to be up I would of got less ap back pro rata so all in all for me it’s was not an issue at all and something I knew before handing the car back.

What is needed is a new political direction but that will never be allowed to happen as it’s all a scam, an illusion to control us and socially engineer us. They do not work for us only for themselves and their true masters.  The problem is even during all these crisis what have labour or the liberals offered nothing at all..

Infact they went along with the goverment and propped it up when many was against the direction the goverment was taking. Lets not even get onto labour run councils. Didn’t the snp just lose a council also. What did they do with the covid money?

Lets not leave wales out either, I have a great deal of love for wales. To me it seems even crazier right now than anywhere in the uk. Clothes was non essential items and all that? 20 mph everywhere?

Pretty much the tories have very little say on the day to day policies that effect peoples lives in wales or in Scotland and right now there is no way I would vote labour and I will never vote for the lib dems as the SDP broke away from the labour party and Merged with the Liberal Party in 1988 to create the Liberal Democrats.

Nicola Sturgeon is a law graduate of the University of Glasgow and her parents bought their house under the right to buy scheme put in place by whom.

Just because shes from a working class background does not mean she is working class herself, far from it imo.

Nicola Sturgeon net worth is surrounded by a lot of controversies, many would agree that she has amassed a sizeable fortune in the years she has been active in politics. $12 Million acoording to https://networthpost.org/net-worth/nicola-sturgeon-net-worth/

She makes her wealth from politics, shows and some private enterprises. as them all so she is no different to any others in office labour or the tories they all put their. Many are groomed from a young age for a career in polictics, just like boris. but also another fact the ceo of many council gets paid more than the prime minster. That’s another gravy train they all on, before they get to the top and the backhand deals and nice numbers after they served. who knows you may even get an institute named after you. like the tony blair institute for global change. https://institute.global/

The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change supports political leaders and governments to build open, inclusive and prosperous societies in a globalised world. We do this through developing policy and advising governments.

What they actually do is come up with ideas to make us poorer and enslave us to debt, while they get richer.

Soylent green will happen. Was set in about now so it’s not far out

Nothing is beyond the realms of possibilities. If someone can dream it up and it’s possible, it can happen or be made to happen.

Like weather manipulation, it’s a secret till they want people to know about it. Many things are interconnected on a huge scale and it’s to big for many to perceive and believe that they wouldn’t do that to us the people.

Just like it was the usa that dropped the atomic bombs on Japan not russia, who can you really trust. whatever it is it’s used as a weapon first.

They see us the everyday people as the enemy and they are scared of us uniting and rising up against them. So they want us divided and often we do it ourselves and put ourselves in groups and sub groups and fight amongst ourselves and do not see what is really going on, slowly slowly till it’s to late to do anything.

What about if we all don’t pay. Seems they’re is a growning amount of people and the real hard time s ain;’t even hit yet. For some energy bills will be to high to pay come October, considering their income and if your only on benefits and cannot work due to your disabilities. The Mobility component should not have to be used to live on, to feed and heat your home.

But that’s the plan and how they plan to stop us using energy altogether as they do with cars and no holidays either in far away lands for the working class. Unless you can afford it then it’s no issue at all. Then there’s the farming land issues and the culling of animals to meet targets, less meat will increase prices and bill gates lab grown meat will be a better greener alternative at the same high price. So there’s no need to have any livestock at all now, except to get cells from to grow in the lab.

What will be the next crisis to blame it all it on, it is the actions they take that causes the chaos and then they can offer their solutions to meet the global agenda they have setout and believe is the way forward.

Would not surprise me if they actually want a cull of people on the planet and a lot more may die this winter, than normally do.

The only way you can remain on the contribution based is if your in the Support (protected) group. Everyone starts on cb and then if you not in the Support (protected) group they switch you to income related.

They often sell it to you as you’ll qualify automatically for certain other benefits and get you to fill in the form to see if you qualify. I never have, my career had to call them to tell them to stop sending the forms.

First time it was just the form no letter with it at all. Then as i didn’t fill it in another came with a letter saying we sent you a form and you have not returned it. You maybe better off,  but you don’t need to fill the form in. please call us if you don’t want to apply, I don’t call no one. Then another form and a letter and another. Everytime a letter drops from them my anxiety increases.

We could however apply for a blue form to get free prestrictions and dentist, but that will stop now my mrs back in work. But if it’s cold we didn’t get a cold weather payment or any help in the form of a loan if needed.

But what they don’t tell you is you can have less savings on income based esa than on cbesa if you do or your partner works your benefit will stop or be reduced.

The dwp don’t care never have, all they care about is pushing people to the edge, trying to trip people up somehow, to get them off the books, by hook or crook. The anxiety they cause me, I use against them now. I do not engage with them or speak to them or look at them or do anything they want and ask me to do.

Having both mental health issues and physical ones they are added to by them, but it never ends as my current pip award has no end date just we are issuing it for longer.

I guess you can still put it into manual mode by pushing the stick to the left.

It’s alot easier with the paddles though. My last two non vw cars have had paddles, The golf match edition I had before did not. Sometimes the big issue was it would often change up gears way to early imo, especially if you had a fully loaded car.

So I had to use manual mode to pull away from lights and get upto cruising speed then I’d put back in auto plus it’s also very useful when driving in snow etc as engine breaking is better and safer than actual breaking.

I think you can only stay on the contribution based esa if your placed in the protected group and if your not you will be switched over to the income based automatically.

They keep sending me just the form to fill every year to switch to try and trick me into switching, but i have refused as my partner, now wife, always intended to go back to work and when she did that would meen my benefit would stop and i’d be living off her. Doubt I’d get a grant now either due to her income and my benefit being classed as an incomeand is another reason I recently left the scheme.

Update on change if dates – My car is due to be delivered on Tuesday. I also get paid DLA on Tuesday. My letter has changed and now says payments start the 17th August. So does that mean I will get paid mobility allowance on Tuesday still ?

17th is the Wednesday and your getting the vehicle on Tuesday the 16th.

Do you get your allowance on the Tuesday evening? for Wednesday or monday evening? for Tuedays.

Payments will start once you have collected your vehicle from the dealership. They will be deducted from your qualifying mobility allowance every four weeks, then paid directly to us by your benefit payment agency.

Personally I would think it takes them a few days to set it up after you get the car not the next day as the payment of your allowance would already of been processed for the bacs transfer to your bank.(but i could be wrong)

If your payment arrives in your bank on the monday night for Tuesday, then you haven’t yet picked up the car and the payment should not be taken, until you next payment day in 28 days.

If it’s on the tueday night for Wednesday then it might be possible the payment is taken. Only a few days now so I guess you’ll findout soon.

I guess it depends on when you start the 1st lease on the scheme and when your due to get the payment as most are paid every 28 days and the payment dates differ for many so it can vary alot.

Plus do mb work it all out monthly but you get 13 payments so they get 13 payments a year as opposed to 12 monthly ones. Is you next payment due on the 7.9.22 tina.

If it is then i’d imagine it would be a part payment/ but maybe around 3/4 of the allowance, if your joining the scheme the 16th.

I recently left the scheme and my 1st payment was £40 less than the full amount as it was less than a week before my payment was due that i gave back the car.

My 1st car on the scheme was over 11 years ago so cannot remember or look at the info.

Great news your getting it on Tuesday, hope all goes well and you enjoy the rest of the summer with the kids and can get out with them.

Then contact RSA Motability who will advise you on what to do next. If help is needed to stay mobile during the time you are without a Scheme car discuss this at the time of registering the claim. The car may be deemed written-off if it is not recovered within 21 days of the date of the theft.

                                        Insurance claim

If your car is being repaired at a RSA Motability (RSAM) recommended repairer as part of an insurance claim, you will get a replacement vehicle until your car is fixed, or RSAM will contact you to discuss alternative arrangements. If your car is stolen, you may be required to provide additional information, for example a Crime Reference Number.

What is the New Vehicle Payment?
With rising energy and fuel prices and other everyday living costs increasing, a New Vehicle Payment was launched at the beginning of 2022. This is £250 for car and WAV customers; for scooter and powered wheelchair customers a £100 New product Payment is available. We hope that giving customers this amount back from the price of the lease will help them to make the most of their next vehicle or product.

If you are newly joining the Scheme during 2022 you will receive this payment when you take delivery of your new car, WAV, scooter or powered wheelchair. This means if you take delivery of your first vehicle in 2022, or place an order during 2022, you will be eligible.

If you were already a customer as of 31 December 2021 you will become eligible for the payment when you take delivery of your next vehicle or product, whenever that may be.

They just puppets who get replaced by another and then another so nothing really gets held to account as they always took over the mess from another. Same for different parties hold the power always offer that things will be better but always end up even worse. One crisis to the next already this winter the nhs is gonna be in crisis. Then there’s the New Langya virus detected in China. Cmon wake up. East v West is just the same as tories v labour. who bankrolls them all the same few elite that control the central banks and the huge multinational corporation (MNC) pizzzhut v dominos, pepsi v coca cola, unilever and Procter & Gamble etc.

                                            Then onto big phrama.

Lets not even talk energy and those huge profits and thats what they do they make sure the big cats get bigger and make more profits from us to keep us down and slaves to the debt and then they take everything you have worked to build up via the fractional banking system they loan money but never print the interest so not all the debt can be paid back. Each next leader and goveremnt takes us closer to the edge. Where is starmer is this latest crisis and the last he’s playing his part in all this as it’s all an illusion to make us look over here when really you should be looking there and over and over the masses believe it all feed by the main stream media, who also part of the cabal.

The volume of the radio being alot higher than that played via android auto. So the next time you get in the car and start it the radio is so so loud and you have to scramble for the volume down button or slider.

@daf Is biden better for the world than trump? Is what I asked.

You said ‘If you dont see the difference between Trump and Biden then I pity you’ They are two completely different things. Triggered or what?

Imo that’s many people’s issue they are blinded by the hate that has been drummed into them and is why many will hate the tories forever for example, as they do trump and just love sleepy joe, no matter what they do or will support the others who do exactly the same or worse, when they get to hold the rudder.

You say they are hard right, if so the other alternatives are hard left then and as I have said it’s designed like that to cause division’s in society as then we are weaker and easier to control and govern over.

Someone has to be the fall person so the trail can be seen to stop with them. If some cannot or don’t want to see it then imo they already a lost cause. Those really in control have everything on those working under them otherwise they wouldn’t be there and they all have something to lose.

You do as your told and when the time comes, they pay the price and fall on their sword and get some nice cushy little number after for their dedication to their masters, not to us the people or you wouldn’t even be selected or put forward in the 1st place.

I don’t care if Scotland get independance at all. Pretty much if you had a vote and the english voted on it as well 100% you’d be free and England would have independance from Scotland also. No longer would we have to put up with all the backhanded sabotage to get what the SNP want and it’s always someone elses fault for everything.

It’s somewhat like climate change, yep the climate changes, you cannot argue with that fact can ya? over global warming, as the climate does change and that can be used as the argument to do whatever needs to be done, but they never happy with this or that they want more / everything as really the motive is not what they say it is.

If you do have another vote and the scots vote to stay what then? I hope they don’t but what if they do? what then?

Another vote or it’s been rigged or they too stupid to vote and don’t deserve a vote. Cancel them?

You did have a vote The “No” side won with 2,001,926 (55.3%) voting against independence and 1,617,989 (44.7%) voting in favour. The turnout of 84.6% was the highest recorded for an election or referendum in the United Kingdom since the January 1910 general election.

But it was before we left the eu is not an excuse imo to have another vote, or that you might win it this time. The snp agreed to once in a lifetime and have gone back on that, when it didn’t go their way. Is that any different to the uk government going back on the brexit deal it agreed to.

All you have to do is wait for something in the climate to change again to have another vote and another after that, till eventually people are so worn down by it all they give them what they want, as it will never end. Just like how now we left the eu remainers who now are rejoiners and it never ends. Scotland wanting independence will never end.

Brexit is to blame for everything in some eyes, not the fact that they self sabotaging us succeeding not being part of the eu and also the eu plays on that fact. All the arguments for rejoining the eu or not leaving in the 1st place are the same for keeping the union. Same can be said for leaving the eu. Round and round we go..

That’s what i don’t get. trading within the eu is a different matter to the political union of the eu, that we did not have a vote on the treaty. Ireland did and voted no, but then had to vote again as did the Netherlands if i remember correctly. Till the eu got the vote it required it would of went on and on, but they could not move forward without the treaty being ratified.

Like the eu the snp will never be happy till they get their ulimate goal. The eu’s goal is to become the united state’s of europe and have one central government for the whole eu. They said they did not it was conspiracy but now they openly say that’s the plan, Just like with an eu army. So my view is why fight for independence or rights and then have then taken away or given away to some other external centralized power to control you from a far.

No issues at all, done it quite a few times now since they changed from the old style payment tolls booths. You just drive Threw now and anpr camera’s record your reg pretty much like the congestion charge in london in the beginning you had to register but now it’s automated any scheme car or a car that the road tax is registered as disabled is exempt.

Recently my brother bought a used mb car and although he change road tax it still was on there system still as except he contacted dart charge and they said until the get notifcation they do not charge.

You can got to there page to pay the charge and if car is exempt https://www.gov.uk/pay-dartford-crossing-charge it will come up as so and will not allow you to pay.

I know this as on two recent trip to see my brother my reg was saying exempt even though i’d taken off my private and put the original plate back on the scheme car.

Then i got my brand new car off the scheme and had normal road tax while i waited for the new certificate to come and the private plate was on that and it would not allow me to pay.

How can you beat something that has a huge advantage as mbo pay no vat, if we was allowed to buy a car ourselves and pay no vat then it would change hugely. If you buy a new car privately 20% goes to the goverment. On a 25k car thats 5k and imo mb have a monopoly and something needs to be done, about that.

For many the scheme is not what it was and doesn’t offer them the flexability it did? Part of that’s not mbo fault, but many will have to downsize to stay on the scheme or get something not really suitable for their needs.

The big issue is and is not just for us with mobility issues but everyone, that doesn’t have the ability to charge at home and at a cheap rate. Moving forward an ev is not an option for me, until things change alot.

Right now some new house’s cannot get hooked up to the national grid as there’s no capacity and with ai and other server hubs coming online even more energy will be needed as with all the ev. 1 hub can use the energy of around 10k homes.

I see huge issues ahead and it’s not because of Ukraine, more the 4th industrial revolution and it’s effects and the restriction they want to put on people and some of those are now being added to cars or will be, next it will be some charge per mile which will imo force many off the roads.

Also I think our mindsets have to change about getting a new car every 3 years. Yep it’s nice but is it adding to the problem, we all think we are trying to solve and taking steps to do so.

We have become accustomed to getting a new car and anything other than a new car is considered by some as bangernomics. I really think getting a new car every 3 years is worse than driving an ice car, or scrapping them in favour of ev’s, before the end of their natural life. Even though Ice cars have become more and more efficient and pushout less and less pollution than they did and due to the huge footprint of making a new cars and ev’s sadly have a bigger footprint.

                                                      That’s another whole question?

Its great for the economic’s of the car makers and the government’s though, threw the policies they are pushing. Also they making huge profits even during a crisis, As most buisnesses work on a % margin and the more something sells for the more they make in profit.

I’ve put my own real case across and after 5 years of being off the scheme, I will see a return, maybe even before it’s depends how much the benefit rises over that time. Thats not calculated in either

I do agree with alot you say, but the facts remain that many having an ev is not viable right now and may never become viable for them, but at some point they will be forced to get an ev to remain on the scheme.

That’s another reason also for many having to leave the scheme and when is the right time. For me that was now. For others it’s because whats on offer is not suitable at a price they can afford of justify and maybe they need to look at used as an option over new, like many do, for many reasons, they don’t use the scheme but get the mobility allowance and could join the scheme but choose not to, maybe it’s down to the restrictions of the scheme as well and if you owned a car off the scheme your partner / children etc could use the car also for there own purpose’s. I seeless multi car households moving forward also due to the higher costs of ev’s and then when driverless cars arrive, what’s the point owning car if you cannot or are not allowed drive it as the ai is safer.

If my decsion and that of others was solely based on being the most cost effective way of running a brand new car, then staying on the scheme would be the option but their’s alot more to it than just that.

No way is right or wrong if it works for you. For many the scheme isn’t working for them how it used to and I can really see numbers dropping, as has the offerings on the scheme currently theirs around 70 different car models to pick from and 520 different variants, as opposed to the over 2k there was before.

I find it very helpful to talk about these problems as most of us need to plan ahead and leaving the scheme was something i have been looking at for some time and I feel the longer i left it now the harder it would be to leave the scheme and the less choices I would have as car makers switch to ev’s and some plan to well before 2030.
