A way to “shrink” the availability of the up market brands ..would be to impose a blanket maximum AP restriction on all cars of say £2,000.
You would still be able to get an Alfa and an Audi
I just had an email from Ohme that the Ohme app has an update (has a link to Google Play) and says i should install before i do my next charge,just done it and the app just looks the same as before.

It doesn’t work that way anymore: the dealer now needs to raise a ticket directly with RAC. And RAC refused. The dealer is more than happy to give me one of their vehicles. But what will I do without left foot accelerator? I won’t take my chances with it on M3.

To be clear this 5.4 version software update is for “pre facelift” cars is that correct ?

I,m old and i dont like change.
But i bit the bullet and got a Dell PC with Windows 11 several months ago.
My previous PC another Dell had been upgraded to Windows 10….but it began failing as a PC so i jumped.
Its like owt else even tho i dont like change..you get used to it the more you use it.
My journey today was to go back to the Skoda dealer to get my tyre repair kit that was missing from the Elroq – they were kind enough to give me one but apparently Skoda no longer include this – not sure this is true across all Skoda, just EVs or just Elroq.
The online car builder tyre repair kit included.
When i took delivery of my new Sportline 85x in June with the optional 21″ supernova alloys,i checked the boot for the tyre repair kit and it was missing,phoned the dealer up and they invited me to come and collect it.
Gets to dealer and and they told me because i had the 21″ wheels fitted the car did not come with a repair kit………so how do i inflate a punctured tyre ?……..you dont was the answer……..they summoned a mechanic to explain the 21″ tyres are self sealing and he showed me an old tyre and it had this layer of black stuff lining the inner tread part of the tyre.
Looked at 85x sportline in meteor grey today and pretty certain it’ll be my next MB car. Just wondering if anyone had any experience of getting discount on options?

I went for the Velvet Red exclusive paint it is exclusive allright you wont see another Enyak dressed up in it,but its a lovely colour,btw it does cost over £1000 but you dont pay the whole amount they take the standard colours cost away from it,so it costs just under £400
The other option i went with are the 21″ supernova alloys,absolutely gorgeous,they are just under £700.

In Sheffield verually all the private hire taxi’s are Corolla’s in all shapes and forms colours mainly white,blue,black….that tells me they are defo going to be reliable cars which is huge plus…would i have one here where i live probably not because i would soon get fed up of peeps trying to flag me down.
@mitch i had an St Line X from 2021 the 2.0 D AWd version for 3 years and it was great car only gripe was the driver seat it was very very firm with minimal side bolster….but with the update facelift the seating was uprated to the AGR ergo seats which are a big improvment,and the infotaiment system has had a restyle and been improved.Still like them.
Would i have the green colour…..nah.
I was temped to have another but the AP’s for the model i would choose was way too much,so i went with the Enyak and have never thought i made the wrong choice.
Makes me smile everyday,it has everything you want in a car (imho) it has plenty of physical buttons on the steering wheel (not haptic) and below the centre infotainment screen a row of physical buttons.My car has HUD but i have switched it off.

@slowdriver i would get in contact with Motability and ask them to get you an installer that will fit an Ohme charger.

When i placed my order with Motability…it was Ohme that supplied the wall charger.
I’m a British Gas customer i’m on the Electric Driver V11 tariff…it has worked perfectly with the Ohme App.
Ive just taken delivery of a Skoda Enyak Sportline facelift i ordered it with the exclusive Velvet Red paint which costs £1,065 the dealership took the metalic paint cost £680 into consideration so i paid the difference between the two.
Picked up my facelift sportline yesterday,in velvet red with the 21″ supernova alloys….it is lush.
Can now have my back massaged while looking at the 360 camera….oh turned the HUD off dont like it.
Set the Canton up and the car is rocking.
Regen braking cant be totally switched like i did in the old car.
The front brake disc’s are nice and shiney across the whole disc surface,unlike the old car.
Possibly more cars being returned at the end of lease with damage which could have been repaired,punters will weigh up the £250 excess against the loss of £250 good condition bonus.
The updated Skoda App i have version 8.3 on my phone,appears to have removed the info section which gives you scores on your driving. If you still have this feature on your phone where is it located ?
Asked Matts on his YT Electrified Speicher channel and he says Skoda have removed it.
Good that was a complete invasion of privacy when I opened up the app one day and it had displayed my driving history and gave me a score without letting us know, I want a car not a bloody nanny cam, granted it was quite a high score but considering VG groups record and recent hacks the less information they hold the better.
It will be coming back Skoda are doing a re-design,whenever that happens.
