Hi Tillyman,
I have the edition 85 model , it arrived a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. Living in a remote part of Scotland, the range is fantastic compared to my previous EV. It’s an amazingly comfortable car and ticks all the boxes for me.
Great deal Wonky.
I ordered an Elroq Edition 85 which was at port of exit. I was quoted around 3 to 4 weeks to Aberdeen but it was with me in less than 2 weeks.
The Honda Jazz has been removed, I agree, Yaris Cross it way too expensive. I ordered an Škoda Elroq Edition 85 and that has remained the same but now they’ve added ones with packs.
If it helps, I had a Renault Zoe which I loved, lease ends December the 1st. I now need a bigger and easier boot space for various bits of mobility equipment. I phoned motability and was advised that I could change for a fee of £250. I said that I’ll have to struggle on with my existing car and she suddenly dropped it to £50.
ive just ordered an Elroq as it meets my needs and the car I wanted was already built and sitting at the exit port. I’ve been advised it should be here around the end of next month.
i would phone back as you often get different responses with different advisors. I would phone back and explain that you are really struggling with the Niro but not to mention a new car that you’ve found. They said to me that they diddnt want me struggling to use my existing car and would like to help. I was upset at having to change early and did lose my GCB but it was just one of those things…..quality of life etc.
I had the same problem with my Renault Zoe and it just would not accept the VIN. It did finally but it was some weeks after I’d had the car.
I’ve got one and it worked perfectly the other day. Unlike my ChargePlace Scotland card, you get billed immediately after your charge has finished, although the Scotland one does that too now.
My 85x sport line plus took 3 weeks to get from UK port to Aberdeen.
Mine was ordered on the 10th of October and I collected it this week on Tuesday. I hope that helps? Once I was advised that it had left the factory, I was slightly quicker than I was expecting.
Fantastic, I’m sure you will and it looks so good, it’s a nice blue. Colours are such a tricky thing as they are so personal. I know folks have said that it’s not important to them but to me it is. I want to smile each time I go to get in and not think…….oh that will do.
Thank you so much for the advice, I’ll ask him to confirm by email and make sure it’s sorted ASAP.
I absolutely loved the drive home and know that I’ve made the right choice. Happy days.
Well today I collected my 85x sportline plus in race blue. The collection diddnt go too well. I was kept waiting for 2 hours as their system crashed. There were delays with getting it taxed and I now have to go back as they claim that the factory only sent one key??? I’ve never heard that before and suspect that they might have misplaced it.
all that said, I absolutely love the car and it really was worth the wait and all the angst as to whether Škoda were cancelling everyone’s order. The 75 mile drive home put it to the test and I’m very happy.
Result! My dealer said that to help me out he has resubmitted the order and it’s now showing the lower AP, I’m really pleased about that. Collecting the car on Tuesday.
I’m not sure what part of the country you are in but my dealership is in Aberdeen, hence why I was surprised how quick it was from arriving in the UK.
I’ve just heard that my 85x sportine ordered on the 10th of October is ready to collect next week. It’s a little bittersweet as the dealer refused to resubmit my order saving £400. Also the collection is 3 weeks before the 5 year lease is up and therefore I’ll lose another £250 GCB. Its taken the excitement away from collecting the car.
Looks like some of you are doing well on the delivery dates, mine was with no extra packs and ordered way back on the 10th of October 2023. I was eventually advised of build week 10.
Thank you, I was thinking maybe a month. I’m going to have to drag it out a little now as my 5 year lease runs out on the 8th of April which is worth a few hundred pounds extra in GCB.
I have a charge place Scotland card which this motability card covers. That will save me the £10 per year charge for CPS card.
I’ve just had an email to say that my 85x sport line plus has left the factory. Does anyone know roughly how long it takes to reach the UK and then to the dealership? Thank you.
Ordered an 80x on the 10th of October, got a build date of week 10 this year.
I’ve finally had my motability application updated to the new model but at the last quarter pricing. I’ve just spoken to them and they won’t offer the lower price as a gesture of goodwill. Even tried to fob me off by saying that the 85x never came onto the scheme in Q1. Hey ho, I’m happy that it’s finally been changed but the £400 off would have been really helpful.

I had the same thing with every dealership I’ve ever dealt with saying it’s against the motability rules. If you need to cancel, the dealership should do it for you but motability will cancel it for you if they are being difficult. They always ask if you’ve spoken to your dealership first and will cancel it for you.
Thanks for that. About 2 weeks after ordering, I’d been advised that the factory had accepted the order but on two further occasions, advised that there was still no build date. I’m just glad that I’m still getting a car but intrigued as to why it’s week 10. My thoughts were that the order wasn’t put through until later but they assured me that it was accepted at the factory almost immediately whilst the model change confusion took place. I’ll be even happier when I see the correct car showing on the motability system, hopefully at the new lower price.
Build weeks seem quite random. I ordered an 80x sportline plus near the start of October. Some people have been quoted week 48 etc but I was told yesterday that mine is week 10 and I should receive it in April. That will be 6 months from ordering. I’m still waiting for the correct model to be updated on the Motability account.
I saw a red one parked up so had a sneaky look. Stunning looking car, I’m sure you will be really pleased with it.
Congratulations Badwolfe, always a bit daunting the first time but I’m glad that you had a good experience at the dealership and even better that it’s the colour you wanted. February will be here before you know it.
