Would love to put in an order for the plug in hybrid XC40. I had a 2018 XC40 on the scheme and loved it for the three years i had it and have longed for another ever since, fingers crossed it turns up soon or Q1 2024 on the scheme.

Slambo.
Not a fan of the all electric loopy fan club must admit seems like another push by the green veggies to ban or force more people to fit this absurd agenda. These car manufactures like jaguar and land rover who are now owned by Tata that nearly crippled the entire British steel industry have been struggling horribly anyway which is really good news, it always puts a smile on my face knowing those who sold out are slowly in decline.
Hopefully BMW or Mercedes will stand up to this pish and start creating much better combustion engines because electric cars are not the future, the batteries cause more harm to our planet than that of any combustion engine car and a recent video about tesla on YouTube actually exposes a lot of things we had no idea about.
January 14, 2021 at 5:00 pm in reply to: More Motability Nostalgia – Quarterly Price Guides from 2011 & 2012 #136261This is painful to go back to that period then compare it to now, the scheme has just dropped off a cliff in terms of number of vehicles on the scheme and selection. I was lucky to have ordered the g21 touring 320i last year before it was purged off the scheme.

I am doing a test drive for the new tiguan elegance model if that fails however my next stop is volvo. What i will do is after the test drive is ask my friend at volvo to check the systems and order status he is in my opinion the best and fastest guy to get them in the UK and hopefully i can get a definitive answer from him for you.
As someone obsessed with the new Tiguan (will be placing order on Jan 1st), and have been checking the vw site twice a day, the configurator is finally open! Enjoy everyone!!
Have booked a test drive in for the 26th if all goes well im going to get one ordered also the AP price for the elegance is insane hard not to go for it.
It wasn’t actually the final AP but once everything was sorted the AP was around £4000 roughly i just posted what the dealership said but they got it wrong sorry all. The metallic black was actually free I double checked. The all wheel drive variant is quite a bit more expensive than the fwd by about £500 I think do not quote me on that though so it bumps the AP up. I agree completely btw, the AP is pretty ridiculous but at the end of the day my family loved it and so did I and I used all my money to get it that we saved for a long time. I noticed others said the boot was small but we found it spacious with the cover tucked under the boot flap but some wheel chairs would definitely struggle. Thank you to everybody that helped me on here in the past thanks to you we tested all the cars you recommended and after a while the volvo was the one. We have had issues with motability but we put trust once again back in the scheme. Hope everybody has a wonderful week take care. We will post back once we take delivery also.
Cheers.
Interested to know what spec you have both ordered, colour, options etc… @vinnym70 @wreckitanth
XC40 Inscription
T4 AWD Automatic717 Onyx Black (£575)
AP – £4754
No packs because 90% of the stuff you can actually get anyway online and i kind of would like to own those things instead of having to hand the car back in a few year and lose it all. I can use the stuff i buy to put on the next car. (Have to be smart with motability).
Hope you like it. Will be taking delivery in three months and will post up proper pictures and a full review after i have it atleast a year or two.
Cheers.
