Masky, the X1, have you seen the new listing?
According to the new price list, if I was in the market for a Tayron I’d get this months price, as they go up by £200 and £300 for the Rline Edition.
Over 20k mileage at the end of 3 years lease,it will be no extending. My car last summer at the end of 3 years, was about 17k was put into a 2 year extension. Unless goalposts have been moved since or i have missunderstood the op.
That’s funny 15 months ago, my car was on 55,000 miles and I had a 2 year extension. Infact I dont recall them asking me my mileage
Is the Terramar on the scheme
Hi Phil, I took the Formentor out last week, totally agree it looks much nicer, but once I sat in it, it’s very small. (I’m 6ft2) but it’s a gorgeous looking car.
Plus it’s full of kit, recommend people to check it out.
The Alfa Tonale might have been worth looking at, it looked beautiful from outside with the 20’s option added, however it wasn’t very room inside, so I choose against it. I do believe it’s been removed this Q though. If it hasn’t or it comes back on, I’d recommend testing it. Lovely car.
Again, is the gla across the board off now? Or just the premium trim?
I took the CLA shooting brake out and a GLA last year, probably around October time, i just didn’t feel they were spacious enough for me, I’ve had a tiguan for the past 4 years, although the Mercedes are very plush inside.
I sat in the X1 last week, again gorgeous inside, but for the trim I’d opt for it’s £8000 and I just can’t justify that.
Good luck with your search. Chris
Hi Oliviaa, are you saying the Q3 is off the scheme?
I just looked on the Audi site and they’re still advertising it.
I was going to get one but interior wise it’s a 10 year old concept obviously had updates over the years but it’s extremely dated. And it doesn’t have much kit. There’s a new generation Q3 coming out, but have absolutely no idea if it would come on here.
Thank you for that!
Hi, do motability supply a power supply for these cars too?
Rich, as it goes I had to have a new screen fitted on Wednesday. Was booked in for 2 and half hrs, but it was all done and ready to in 1hr and 15 mins.
You have to take it to them if the car has sensors etc as it needs to be in the shop to be calibrated.
There was a small waiting room, with tea and coffee. There’s no drama.
I actually turned up 30 mins earlier and they just got on with it, simple process.
Swansea was my Autoglass.
To note, phoned at 3pm Tuesday as it failed mot, and they had me booked in the following morning at 11 am.
They do offer for £39 a windscreen ‘guard’ it’s like a weather protector or something. But you’ll need to phone as they pre do it before installing

It’s like FB
“I was considering the M3 estate because of my assistance dog and the fact it was a great car to drive, especially compared to other estates on scheme. Yet even the dealer was saying it was too pricey (£7999) to make it practical. Glad they took it off the scheme though as it was tempting.”
Guessing you don’t know your BMW’s that well. There has never been a M3 on the scheme. Haha.
To add, there were atleast 10 maybe more XC40 thar had just been delivered to Swansea, they were sitting in the yard, begin prepared for the customers.
I took a XC40 out for a test drive yesterday, and although they look pretty cool outside, the inside felt small and seats were not very supportive. When we got back in our 3 year old Tiguan, the seats and space were night and day. So we’ve actually extended our lease for another 2 years, so we’ve decided to just keep this car.
We will be going to see the new Tiguan though, and see if we want to pay the £5k down payment on the new R line
But the Mk2 facelift was instantly on the scheme. I had one of the first ones to be registered
I actually drove like miss daisy once to test, Swansea to London on the M4, approx 180 miles of straight road, cruise control at 60mph, and returned about 62 mpg.
So does anyone actually have true mpg reading for a B4?
42.7 vs 42.1 mpg wltp 150 vs 152 g/km emissions wltp There probabably won’t be alot in it in real term’s, given the additional bit of bhp & torque with the B4, it will help moving along the road with less rev’s however, I’d expect economy to be low to mid 30’s, to low 40’s for both models in the real worls depending on how heavy your right foot is and journey taken.. Also take into consderation the lower AP for the B4, when working out running costs.
Appreciate the response.
I do a lot of motorway miles, and my Tiguan currently returns up to 55 mpg on a run. Mixed driving it’s about 45.
We can look for a new car now, was holding out for the new Tiguan, but might consider the XC40
Just spoke to my local Renault dealer who spent 30 minutes trying to get through to Motability. There was a big error whilst uploading the new prices so various models from different manufacturers did not make the new list, they are doing another upload tonight so should be more models on tomorrow
Good information, much appreciated
So does anyone actually have true mpg reading for a B4?
Those bmw APs are insane.
They’ve removed the 1 series also
With the rising AP quarter on quarter, there’s going to come a time when people simply won’t be able to afford these cars,. It’s ridiculous
At last I have found an official Q3 price list – Volkswagen.
Well done GG. I do like the look of the new Golf Estate in the picture, not sure about the price however!
- Two things of note in the VW price list (other than the absence of the New Tiguan). The premium for an Auto over a manual is as much as £2,500. That’s outrageous. On a more positive note, the outgoing Tiguan Allspace is now also available in both Elegance and R-Line trims at the same AP (£3,999 – all autos) as the poverty spec model. Thats a decent sized car at, by todays standards, a reasonable AP, albeit with the slightly underpowered 1.5i petrol engine.
Regarding the out going Tiguan allspace
Once this car goes they’re not replacing it, they’re making a new car, it’s not going to be a Tiguan.
So guys if you’re after a 7 seater Tiguan, you’d want to get this one 🙂
Probably the least amount of leaks I’ve seen, I wonder why
Yeah, its extremely quiet isn’t it!
- Like wise Glos, we’ve extended our 3 year old tiguan for 2 more years, got 16 months left, hoping for some new petrol/diesel options to come on next week
