      Hi all

I can place a new order just 2 days before the next quarter (July 1st) and have been looking at the VW Tayron. I’m just wondering if it’s worth ordering beforehand or wait and see if the AP goes down on it (I highly doubt) but what do u think. Currently the one I want is around £4000.

also I’m wondering if anything else joins the scheme in the next quarter that I would have preferred or saved money on. AP as we know is very dear on a lot of the cars so just trying my luck.

should I get the order in or wait? Also anyone else order the tayron, would love to know your thoughts and what model you picked.

      thanks

According to the new price list, if I was in the market for a Tayron I’d get this months price, as they go up by £200 and £300 for the Rline Edition.

I was at a VW dealer up North the other day and was told the diesel Tayron had “heavy delays” if anyone was looking to order. Tiguan is a 4-6 months wait

Thanks to Big Dave’s info, your question is answered. My last car was the Allspace and, for my requirements, it proved an excellent choice. Aside from my personal dislike for the UI, I doubt if you would be disappointed with the now built in Wolfsburg, Tayron. The Kodiaq’s manual smart knobs would sway my choice.

Built on the same platform, the AP my Touran Match is increasing by £500. APs are only going one way, partly to pay for the massive depreciation on many EVs. Figures just released in the press show loss of 65% in one year for some models. Ruinous.

Waiting time for my first Touran was 4 months, Allspace from Mexico, 8 months and Touran again 4 months. Good luck with the process.

If it’s what you want I’d get it ordered and worry about the unlikely chance of the AP dropping later. It could also be removed from the scheme and your chance is gone. There have been many cases where the dealer has reordered after an AP change without losing the build slot so it can be done.

I’ve got my fingers crossed it’s still on the scheme next year as it’s ideal size for my wife’s electric wheelchair.

If I seem a little strange, that's because I am.

Thank you all so much. This has really helped me make a decision to go ahead 👍
