that is totally unacceptable from a dealership
Yes indeed, name and shame!

"Come on BYD Seal!"π³ that sounds.. exciting! I do hope it’s not something that breaks when it rains though.
"Come on BYD Seal!"Ford usually willing to do a deal but I doubt they’d call it that
Fortune favours the cheeky. Good luck
"Come on BYD Seal!"I think Morgan is the only British company left.
Apparently they don’t plan on joining the scheme this side of the revolution and also “please stop calling us sir” π€·π»ββοΈ
"Come on BYD Seal!"Honestly I wasn’t expecting it to be bad lane keep assist but the rise of the machines has to start somewhere π€·π»ββοΈ
"Come on BYD Seal!"If you get no joy off motability customer team go to the CEO explaining your situation andrewmiller@motabilityoperations.co.uk
Came here to say this! I don’t take issue with the droids who answer the questions, but they’re repeating the company line. Might require some lateral thinking
"Come on BYD Seal!"That’s the sort of nerdy detail I was hoping for π€ thank you.
This isn’t something I’m considering, merely that I’ve had excitement trying to plug the wrong socket into the wrong hole before!
Honestly the site has several of these sockets but they’re mostly 16A I think with only a few rare 32A sockets that I can plug in to.
The more you know ππ»π thank you sir
"Come on BYD Seal!"As an aside @kezo, the local farm has two different connectors for 32A and what I think is 16A.
I understand that the cables don’t have to be as chunky but it confuses me why the connectors would be different π€ the sparks are good at switching the breakers on but weren’t able to explain it to me π
"Come on BYD Seal!"Randomly I saw this the other day. It doesn’t add to the conversation but does provide moving pictures

"Come on BYD Seal!"The answer to all four questions is βyesβ, as long as the other person(s) driving are named drivers for your current car.
YES but in capital letters
"Come on BYD Seal!"June 18, 2024 at 9:56 pm in reply to: Anyone have news on the new BMW X1 joining the Scheme? #282364Nor Polestar from elsewhere. Wonder what motivates people to do these things, it’s like really mild anarchy.
"Come on BYD Seal!"The 58 kWh is the capacity of the battery which is what gives you the range. The 159 kw is the power output of the motor (in this case VC around 231 BHP)
I think the charging speed of the 58kWh battery is 125kW
So even if you plug in to a 500kW charger, you’ll get 125kW max .. peak .. on a good day, if the battery is warm.
I do wish they’d tell people this, it’s important – as long as you’re not paying extra for the more speed though π
Ooh nerdy charge curve for your car here:
Source is the Fastned app.
But don’t let the nerdiness discourage you from the fun pedal!
"Come on BYD Seal!"Happy new car day! To anyone reading this though, the charging speed is limited by your car and not the charger.
I know this isn’t you @Footloose (yours is .. 175 right?) but seems to be largely unknown and it might save folk a few pennies
"Come on BYD Seal!"BYD told me about a month or 2 ago that they have no plans at all to put it on the scheme, shame really as many people would order it. Hopefully they change their mind.
They never do, until they do π
"Come on BYD Seal!"I hope my signature shows my true feelings π€

The rabbit driving is about to yeet the bus into a bridge to make the noises stop. They know we like peace and quiet right? π¬ Must be terrible for someone who suffers sensory overload.
