Does anyone else use Carwow to check stock availability with dealers?
Hi Jems,
I use Carwow to find stock with dealers, please see below. Hope this helps 🙂
LoL Winston…
3 weeks and counting till those toys get ejected from your pram then eh ? 🙂
Thanks for the responses guys, appreciate it 🙂
It does seem very hit and miss though not like tracking a parcel on Amazon hehe 🙂
Catturo, Yes is the short answer.
I am in a 1 year extension (after 3 year contract) and have just ordered a new car. I will not be liable to any fees with motability whatsoever.
Cheers Tosh! Was originally going for the same as you but whilst sat in the dealers, my son (other named driver) asked why I was ‘speccing up’ the Allspace Match to the same as the R Line Tech. To which I replied I prefer the R Line. His response… ‘So you are basically paying £3000 for a heated steering wheel!’
Umm well when you put it like that… I turned to the Salesman and asked him to change the order 😉 £2899 AP – £250 Discount – £500 GCB = £2149 and I plan to keep the car for the 5 years so under £430/pa 🙂
Hope this helps.
Just to confirm Trev’s post, went to order an Allspace last Saturday, got the same information. Ended up signing for the ‘all popular’ Tiguan 2.0 TDI R Line Tech FWD DSG (Pure White) £2899 AP less £250 discount 🙂 – am being told 4-5 months.
For those of you who remember, STILL no heated steering wheel so have decided to buy gloves 🙁 Everything is a compromise of one sort or another.
Good luck Wonky mate.
Tosh, just so you know I have just secured a £250 discount from Corkhills in Wigan on a 2.0 TDI DSG Tiguan R Line Tech 🙂
Both Tuscon and Eclipse Cross where contenders for me to… Tuscon ruled out because Premium SE only available in petrol, if you want diesel you have to downgrade to Premium 🙁
Eclipse Cross was the only other car besides the Peugeot 3008 that actually drew a WOW when I sat in the cab. Awesome setup let down by no option of heated steering wheel, a TINY boot, and could not get used to the split rear window (seriously limits visibility).
Ordered the Tiguan 2.0 TDI R Line Tech (Pure White) last Saturday 🙂
yep – digital dash – not seen it… yet. now then which price would you pay or am I missing something…
anyone got new prices for Nissan? thanks

can you actually order sun roof and heated steering wheel as optional extras on this thing as I can only find heated seats – not a brilliant website IMHO
still no sunroof tho 🙁
I retract the ‘dodgy dealer’ comment…..
No!
Not when you consider lack of diesel, lack of AWD and the extras they want for heated wotnots and a sunroof – feels like a rip off to me.
i have to agree with maff as seat’s own price list does not include it – dodgy dealer alert!
form what ive seen on youtube, pretty much. including the front passenger seat! if the auto is on would that be the AWD as i dont see any other variant?
oops – sorry guys – just seen the wheelchair offer in another thread.
Quote from Motability:
From 1 April 2019, all car Scheme customers will be able to choose a lightweight manual wheelchair, when they lease a new car.
There is a choice of two different lightweight manual wheelchairs which can be ordered in a number of frame sizes and set up as self-propelled or attendant-controlled.
Regardless of which model is most suitable, each wheelchair costs £100. The lightweight wheelchairs collapse into a compact package and should fit comfortably into the boot of most vehicles.

Mazda MX-5
For the more flexible the MX-5 is fantastic fun, it’s great to see it back and the prices are realistic too.Mazda MX-5 1.5 132bhp SE+ Petrol £599
Mazda MX-5 1.5 132bhp SE-L Nav Petrol £899
Also on a more positive note – if anyone is in the market for a Tiguan Allspace, I have been communicating with James (JCT600 Bradford) about availability and here is his comprehensive (I thought) response…
‘The two below cars are the one I have coming through that have build slots.
Tiguan Allspace Match 2.0 TDI 2WD 150PS 7-Speed DSG 5 Door
Platinum Grey Metallic
Tiguan Allspace Match 2.0 TDI 2WD 150PS 7-Speed DSG 5 Door
Blue Silk MetallicThey are both scheduled for build week 19 which is about 7 weeks away from now. The transport for the vehicles are quite a while as they come from Mexico and can take up to 9 weeks to get to the UK.
In short I think you would see these in July.
These are the only 2 I have available including cancelled orders I’m afraid.’
Hi Emma,
We had a 1.7 Sportage for 3 years and it never let us down once. Cracking car and all the bells and whistles you could ask for. The only reason we didn’t upgrade was the facelift. I am not a fan of the so called ‘tiger nose’ grill. But other than that, you made a great choice… Enjoy 🙂
Was it an allspace or standard Tiguan you ordered? Only reason I ask is my dealer told me that there is not a single allspace in the country available right now
Well that sheds light on why the Tiguan Allspace Match has disappeared off the VW website configurator tool!
VW must be the shadiest Manufacturer around at the moment chopping and changing and whatnot and I suspect the dealerships are basically shrugging their shoulders in a ‘what the hell can I do about it’ attitude.
Which to be fair, they are at the mercy of their masters but still no excuse for dishonesty.
name and shame mate. report the dealer and sales persons to motability.
Whilst having empathy and understanding with almost all of the points being expressed here, I too have one of the ‘hidden’ disabilities and therefore will now qualify for a BB in my own right. Surely that is a matter of personal choice?
My wife (who is visibly disabled) spent years refusing to accept her situation/condition being too proud to admit that she was disabled and did not want to accept charity. Common sense eventually prevailed and her outlook on life changed immeasureably. No longer suicidal, no longer in a state of depression as now she can get out and about, with my help, and enjoys life much more.
I fully agree with the issue of parking spaces and even in our small town at peak times the availability is few and far between. One other point that I have noticed over the years is the number of people that blatantly use a BB bay without displaying a badge because they don’t have one but want extra space to prevent their expensive sports car (not on motability scheme) being scratched.
I know this is my opinion and I cannot prove it, but if local supermarkets etc.. clamped down on these abusers and applied the penalties that they post then this would free up more BB bays for extra valid users.
Maybe the DWP could bring in a ruling that all BB bays should be representative of the total number of parking spaces as a percentage which reflected ‘real life’ figures.
