Just ordered Honda ZR-V. Amazing spec. Plenty of space front and back. Very smooth to drive with excellent mpg. The best bit is immediate delivery no lengthy wait. Can pick up next week. AP £1499

That’s great new when I’ve bought the shopping in I can do it from my hall way cheers
or you can just press the walk away button inside the boot when opened. Once it senses you have left it automatically closes the boot and locks it
February 4, 2024 at 1:41 pm #257335Thanks JMC . Is it really low. Uncomfortable?[/quote] my missus says it’s not uncomfortable at all once in the car but she likes to be higher up so not perfect in that sense and we would rather have more adjustment in the passenger seat and it be manual rather than powered and basic.

February 7, 2024 at 4:47 pm #257728Called into my only Honda dearer today to enquire about the ZR-V. Was informed they have sold all their quota.
I asked if I could still order one and not in any hurry for it .
No was the answer!
So will look at other options.

That doesn’t sound right. If it’s on the Motability list it’s available to order regardless of quota.
If on the other hand this were to be a Honda dictat and not just that particular dealer, then Motability need to remove it from the list to avoid further confusion.
Phone Motability and explain it all .
Also phone another Honda dealer tomorrow at random to see if you get the same answer.

Ah, you’re in Norn Iron!
It doesn’t seem right that you are treated any differently to a Motability customer in the rest of the UK, so I’d still be phoning Motability to see what’s going on.

Explained to Motability what happened. They were bewildered when I told them I wasn’t allowed to order. She checked everything at her end and went on to phone the dealership. Dealership was closed so she rang Honda in Ayr and spoke with them. They were happy for me to get the boat over and have my car ordered from them. She later phoned me back to say there is another dealership here and I should call them in the morning. They were really helpful and curious as to why this happened. Going to look into it tomorrow.
So I’ll give this other dealership a call in the morning to see how I get on!

February 7, 2024 at 10:58 pm #257761Good news, and it looks like you have one more dealer in Northern Ireland to try as well as the Ayr option.

Mine fit in no problem, but I needed a hoist, and the ZR-V doesn’t have the certification yet for any adaptions. I was told it may be 3 months or longer by dealership and motability agreed.

If you’re talking about JC Campbell in Newry, I heard that they are ceasing to be a Honda dealership at the end of February and becoming a servicing and maintenance centre I believe. Confirm that with them directly to ensure it’s correct.

You’re right they are going to servicing only. In the process of getting it from Ayr in Scotland who are so helpful.
Some difference from the dealer here in N Ireland
Have gone for the Advance in white!

February 8, 2024 at 2:53 pm #257820@Shuffler3 – Apologies if I’ve missed it but have you actually taken the car for a test drive yet? Seen a few questions from you asking about how low it is, space in the boot, etc.
Don’t put an order in until you’ve seen the car and driven it. I know it’s difficult because of where you are and lack of dealerships but if you get the car and it’s not a good fit, it’s a difficult situation to get out of.
Hope I’ve just missed something in the thread and I’m bringing this up for no reason. Hope it all works out for you.

All I have done is sat in it . No opportunity for me to test drive .Believe me I have watched and read every review out there. Just going to have to take a chance .
