I’m sure all of you who have one on order, have been eagerly waiting (as of I) for Q1 24 to see what will be updated… and now the msport is available! (With 3 different packs too).
now the question on my head. If we want to switch to the msport model with the dealer, will they have to raise a whole new order with the factory, or will they be able to trim msport with the original factory slot?

I know most people won’t care much about this but I’m a bit disappointed we can’t add artificial M engine noise as a subscription package on the i4, it is available for the iX and other cars for £99 – unlimited. Would be nice to hear some noise since the only way you really can is on Sport mode.
Hello guys Just a quick update to say I collected my i4 m sport pro on Friday a couple of you had questions Bmw gave me a bmw charging card for discounted Bp pulse and ionity Charging, you register this through the bmw app I also got given a motability go charge card and they also fitted in a ohme home pro charger at my house when I collected the car my salesmen even gave me a gift (bmw umbrella) My car battery percent was at 93% and 233 range showing when I collected overall the car is amazing, the seating position is higher up and a lot better than my previous 3 series and the seats are one of the best seats I’ve sat in (m sport seats) If you have any questions please ask
@Yk I had the same experience with my dealer with the only minor difference being that the battery was at 100% when I picked it up.Does the M Sport have different seats to the Sport model?
Did everyone get both the BMW charging card for discounted Bp pulse and ionity Charging and the motability go charge card ?
@Mm7 I only got the Motability Go card, it seems like my dealer forgot to give it to me, I’m sure I can request a BMW charging card, did you get yours?
@budest The seats are different, they are alcantara/leather as standard or full leather option, they both seem to have the same comfort it’s just more premium materials.Thanks for that info @AKX as I was curious if comfort was different.

Yes I got both @Mm7. Along with an BMW umbrella, 2 BMW key rings and a full charge.
Mine was at 98%. I got a deal through Jardine Motors which included £10 credit on Electroverse, plus something else on public charging which was useless as you needed to have Android 11 or newer!
The gift was a photo shoot session with a professional photographer (no thanks). An umbrella would have been more use!
I only discovered the deals on Ionity and BP Pulse when I was in the My BMW app the other day and have now applied for the BMW charge card.
I also have the Motability Go Charge card which was sent directly from Motability

Also told to spend upto £350 on anything of my choice and give them receipt.oh and 2 key rings.
@johnk that’s great to hear I will be asking the same questions when mine is getting built in June. Also £350 quid to spend is that in some sort of bmw shop? Would be great to know and what did you opt for?

Question for you all regarding the cruise control. I note the adaptive cruise control is a £750 paid for software upgrade, but I think my car may have already have it? When I activate the cruise control and set my speed, the car automatically brakes and keeps its distance from the car in front. I can also manually increase or decrease that distance.
I am misunderstanding what the adaptive cruise control is or does it sound like I have it?
The car detects stopped traffic and will give a little bit of help as I noticed this.
But the acc is full start stop cruise control with distance function.
It will bring you to a complete stop and start off again without touching any pedal.
On the £350 I was kept waiting on handover day so it was a courtesy payment due to inconvenience.

If you go through your BMW app, you’ll see that the two subscriptions are £0 for the first year and you get quite good discounts on Ionity and BP Pulse charging. 95% of my charging will be done at home, but it’s good to have and costs nowt!

Thanks @JohnK. That is exactly what mine does. It will slow down/stop and accelerate again when the car in front moves off or speeds up. The distance between myself and the car in front can be adjusted using the buttons with the lines on them on the left hand side of the steering wheel where the cruise control buttons are found.
I don’t know about you guys but I want my BMW umbrella too! I think we all should’ve got that type of service especially when paying this much.
What dealers gave the umbrella?be shocked if it was synther(where i got my i4).Who would not budge on anything,when i mentioned mats they were pleased to say ‘yes’ but thats because they come with car anyhow?
Just to confirm that it turns out my Sport does have the adaptive cruise control for some very strange reason considering I never asked for it and certainly didn’t pay for it.
Took the car on to the motorway today and when the car in front slowed down so did mine and when it stopped so did mine then as it drove off mine followed. I’m not complaining but it is strange you’d get this for free.
@budest happy for you mate, i’m really hoping i get lucky the same way and get the same feature in the car, do you think it was a mistake? or it’s being added now as standard? wonder what it could be?

After placing an order (bmw ix1) how long doest it take to receive the confirmation?
Will I get a get confirmation letter indicating the add ons and final AP I have to pay?
Motobility account page is showing the standard ap minus the £750 new car payment even though I’ve added some extras.
