My Husband has a disabled bay outside our home, I have just brought him home from another stay in hospital to find two commercial vehicles park in such a way that it was almost impossible to park in the bay, I wouldn’t mind but the owners don’t even live in this road, is there anything I can do about this??? thanking you for any assistance

take a photo of it and send it to the company that own the vans ?

The VW tracker can be very slow updating. Use the VW chat and they’ll be able to tell you the build week.

Went in to look at minis a few years ago. Was told that the specialist was at the bmw up the road and was just left to view the cars myself. No offer of another salesperson to talk me through the car etc. In the end just went back to Renault who in my area treat customers well.

You could contact them tomorrow. If they haven’t provided the spec motabilty ordered then it could cause issues with insurance etc

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Hi , I placed on order for golf r line in February this year and was told it would be about 10 weeks .. I’ve just asked for the order number to track as I was told it’s still awaiting production but can’t get any info .. I’ve now been sent a pic of what’s showing on his computer .. can someone tell me if this is showing production is week 26 and when I’m the year that is likely to be please .. I originally thought I’d be taking delivery the end of this month when ordering

build weeks are the weeks of the year as far as I know.
So you you could be waiting a few months yet before receiving your car

    <p style=”text-align: left;”>Personally,
I’d say hopefully not. Just on the basis SUV drivers have sufficient choice as it is. Many who need lower cars with large doors for transferring from wheelchair to driver’s seat are very limited. Next to zero choice. Unless they balance the choice and say put the C class coupe on the 3 door version.. I don’t see the need for them to have another SUV type made available

That’s not very nice. You need to contact them if you disapprove of car availability. As has been discussed before the production of 3 door cars has decreased a lot in the past 10 years

It won’t be available till late 2021 so it’ll be 2022 before it’s on the scheme

UPDATE: It is to do with the Grants, they have taken them off until further notice!

I would’ve thought Motability would’ve had a pre warning about the announcement so that all cars wouldn’t need to be removed

All of them included in AP,unless you want a seperate roof colour, but design at the AP price with seperate roof colour comes as standard I went for the SEL DSG Auto AP £499.00 plus black roof £430.00 total payment £929.00 so quite happy for a £2900.00 plus car, did not like silver white, can look a bit grey so got the pure white

do you have a date for delivery yet ?

I ordered first week in March and have been giving 16th June for delivery.

just had a look at the troc configorator, ye gods thats a complicated bunch of paint choices. how do they justify pure white being 375 and pure white with black roof being 805. and in your case silver met white being 625 and with black roof 1055. crazy. vw really do make the most of their options list lol. so what paint is free with them, are any of them??

you get any paint colour for free. It’s the two tone colour that cost more since it two colours.

if the person wants white silver metallic it’s free. If he wants white silver metallic and black roof it’s £400.

I went for one colour as I didn’t want pay for a black roof.

Correct Mitch, now they even charged me extra from Pure White to Pure White with Black Roof extra £430.00

is this for the T roc ? If so you get two different shades of white. Pure white and white silver metallic.

    I went for Ravenna blue

The Mini hatchbacks are still listed on the Mini website but not listed on Motability as been available? As someone once said “the plot thickens somewhat!”

mini will only update their website at the start of every quarter.

@Glos Guy If things don’t seriously change (Ie the bring more practical 2-3 door cars to the scheme, then sadly it will be a case of looking for legal recourse to get them to change. Motability seem to think because the vast majority, while having difficulties with mobility, that we can all stand up to get into cars, or transfer “upwards” – Sadly this isnt the case for a lot of full time wheelchair users. Also, not all of us have familes or partners. If they can “bend” the price caps for SUVs and 7 seaters, why not do the same for the other end of the market? Because of this i’m in the middle of considering going for an Internal Transfer WAV which in all honesty is over kill for what i need.

I think part of the problem is that less 3 door cars are being produced today compared to 5/10 yrs ago. The Renault Clio and Megane now only come in 5 door options , I’m sure other manufacturers are the same.

I’m not sure legally what you could do to make them change.

What happens if you’ve put in a application for a car that is removed while the application is being considered ?

(I’ve already ordered a car so this doesn’t effect me. Just wondering in the what if situation)

Once you get your 8 digit order number, go on VW live chat or phone customer services and they will give you updates. What port, which ship, when it arrives in the UK.

    thanks will do that 😀

I’ve only ever heard dealers take a small deposit for extras not included in the AP but never £4k😲

Yes once your 25 you can get any bhp but that’s not a problem for you.

OT: could you order a car above the 120bhp and insurance limit in the 3 months before change of car and receive car on 25th birthday?

I have the Renault clio rs line edc 130 turbo so not the hybrid but also have a 40kg boot hoist for my scooter i really love this car i have it in iron blue it has the extra park assist a spare tyre as well as the bigger display and the quality is a step up from the old mk4 clio it has three driving modes one that adjusts to your driving style an eco and then there is sport which to be honest i have in most of the time although its great in all and with the manual paddle shift the Renault sport is f1 style so very quick than they say on paper and also has stop and start if you want.

    hello, thanks for the reply.

I have the last gen Clio at the moment and that has stop start that I find great apart from when trying to pull away from busy roundabouts 😂.

It doesn’t look like the hybrid has the paddles although it does have a sport mode.

will probably get the iron blue as well as it’s a really nice colour.

It’s quite a specific car – maybe worth seeing if there is a Renault forum about where you may be more likely be able to find someone to help.

    will do.
    thanks
