Go to Kwikfit let them measure but I think it has to be less than 2mm for a change.
Financially, not necessarily.
Practicality, peace of mind certainly.
Tempting, but just can’t fit another roll in!
Mike
I can’t get any more in the loft, as for hand gel………
First port of call is the dealer.
I am not sure if dealer would top up oil between services – it’s unlikely you will ever need to.
Another post says Adblue will be provided by dealer search Adblue in ” search forum”
Now got Karma Ergo Lite 2. Self propel. Wife says it is comfortable and it also folds well. It is also incredibly lightweight. Very pleased.
Yes everything is included except fuel, oil ( if ever needed between services) and screen wash.
Don’t forget the non- financial advantages to Motability such as change of car during lease if change in disability, priority RAC service and hardback with a certain amount of damage acceptable ( even good condition bonus)
Yes just click on it!
How did it go?
If you think you may need a hoist in the future get it through Motability with your new car. If ordered after you have received car it’ll set you back about £1200 for you to arrange to have it done.
Vauxhall Combo Life seems to be much taller than Kuga
Vauxhall Combo Life?
OK, I was just interested. Of course everyone has different disabilities to be catered for which I completely understand. It’s things like mood lighting and look of the dashboard etc that I think we can all compromise on.

So there isn’t a car made that suits all your requirements, or is there?
James
All the best for tomorrow.
I am sure your first question will be ” what’s the reason for this visit? “We will all be interested to know considering DWP 2019 letter
James
Seems odd doesn’t it.
Can you phone DWP to see what it is about?
James
What is this for:
Changing from DLA to PIP
Applying for PIP first time
Change in your condition
End of PIP period
or a random visit by DWP
72 dudes, I can’t see how anyone could be offended by what you suggested.
Maybe disagree with your view , but to say that you should know better etc. etc.
is not on.
Oscarmax
That comment is very harsh and unwarranted.
72 Dudes is entitled to an opinion and whilst I don’t think his idea would be easily workable it might but only might bring down Motability prices.
Yes, the Gov’t get about £29 bn/ year from fuel duty. EV drivers will have to make this up somehow.
Hi Winston
Because of moving to a property with small parking space we are having a Picanto 3 automatic.
There is a surprising amount of room inside, wife is small and her wheelchair will fit upright in boot.
We had a hoist in Golf SV for her scooter. Now that we moved to a seaside town from a small village most of her scootering takes place direct from home to shops or promenade. On the rare occasion we might need to take scooter in car I will just dismantle it and put back seat down.
I know people will say that it is better value to buy a relatively cheap car such as this but we love the security Motability brings, as per this morning. Also the value of non electric second hand cars will plummet in three years IMO
Yep he had the battery on the van.
…… and you wouldn’t get the benefits of Motability- priority RAC, possibility to change car if not suitable etc.
Winston
Your loss – this Motability page also deals with getting tints done VAT free.
However obtaining permission from Motability for tints and getting them done by an approved Motability supplier is mandatory. You may not think this necessary but a third party claimant on your insurance might.
