I only popped on to see if there were any news with it being new quater day as i try not to come on too much due to the negativity and try not to look at the posts as this one shows too many on here are too quick to be judge jury and exocutioner.
I agree with your sentiment Smallcar but do feel it could have been titled better and think Matt B nailed it.

Thanks for the replies, seems obvious now.

HAHA that didnt take long
Post number 1 (shown on every page)
With Q3 upon us and the negotiation team finalising pricing, keep your ear to the ground, push dealers for info etc, a lot of dealers will be having meetings and discussions and the revised prices pinged to their inboxes, and some updating their websites before the 1st, it won’t be our usual heads up but let’s see what we can find out.
Good Luck

As I said which you both missed Brydo and Elliot
“Please can this thread be changed to “pi$$ and Moan about q3” as it is rather confusing I have had to trawl through so much rubbish and arguments that I missed a lot of what actually happened today.”
You can have different opinions no problem with that but why take over a thread that is trying to give information
As you say “If you just accept we are all different with different needs requirements and points of view you will find it easier to read the posts you dont agree with.”
you will find it easier to read the posts you dont agree with. Again missing the point, I do not want to read why you think Motability are ripping you off, or your garage is useless, or mrs jones next door has a cat with wind.
I wanted to read the developments about Q3.
My origional post was actually directed towards the MODS as they could have put a stop to all this by creating a new thread for Q3 moans and telling people to post there.
I will not be the only person who looks at a thread called Q3 pricing and Info July 2020 and be upset when I have to pass pages and pages of moaning and arguments just to hopefully find the post showing the new prices for manufacterer X to see if car Y is still on or gone up or down. Knowing by past experience motability web site will be overloaded and wont see anything until early evening.
Please can this thread be changed to “pi$$ and Moan about q3” as it is rather confusing I have had to trawl through so much rubbish and arguments that I missed a lot of what actually happened today. I actually gave up and just waited until now to look on motability website.
This thread was a nice idea but taken over by people wanting to vent.
I wonder how many people who actually use Motability as there only lifeline to be mobile and get out trully feel there let down by Motability.
I also fully expect this post to get all barrels from a few, picking at any minute peice to make them feel better.
Just came accros this
https://www.swanswaygarages.com/motability/offers/seat/
Says July to Sept and 2.0l xcelent lux has gone
Suzuki link only shows the starting AP’s, all are £0 apart from the SX4 Cross which appears to have gone up from Q2 £299 to £699 but no model/variant detail so may be incorrect. Clicking on any car just takes you to a “contact us” form to fill in.
Apologies I just spotted something and thought I would share, will double check before posting in the future. Again sorry for any confusion.
Just spotted this
Prices shown below are effective from 1st July 2020.
Thanks ChrisK
I just double checked and my pavement scooter is 109.2cm (43″) on papaer, so thats a great point, I was going to look to check the boot as the main things for me are seat height to ground (need as high as possible) and boot length (Scooter).
There are only 2 of us the back seats are never used the rear seats in the 7 seater are only off use to small children, I have my own drive so able to have a EV point my local journeys are less than 20 miles, 28 miles is going to cost me less than 50 pence, plus it Brydo fault.
Yeah have neices and nephews who like sitting in the back, will still look thought.
Thanks
Oscarmax, may I ask why did you choose the PHEV, did you consider the petrol version.
I like the option of 7 seats so just wondering if something made you choose the PHEV 🙂
I’m due to change Feb 2021 so around Nov will be putting pen to paper. Been looking at what’s on offer and hope the Tarraco will still be on the scheme in excellent lux trim or better FR, Hybrid FR would be dream come true.
It does seem to tick all the boxes for size (for me and boot size), tech, looks and 4×4
I started looking at q4, don’t change until Feb 2021 (collection day) so probably not too early.
I have an x-trail facelift, but need something with a slightly larger or longer boot. I have to put my mobility scooter sideways when 5 seats used and need the height getting in and out. Looking at tarraco, 5008, kodiak like the idea of Outlander phev but not sure.
Tech can be good or bad depending how you look at it.
I personaly use the tech as a guide/reminder/helping hand but not above my judgement. I do however disagree with people who say “All tech is bad” or “You dont need it”. Actually tech can be very helpful even reducing accidents (caveat “If used properly”). As mentioned above people relying on it, playing with it, being distracted by it, will and often does result in acidents or near misses. That said to blame something (tech) for being used incorrectly, to me seems absurd.
Reversing Camera – I love this but always use my mirrors in conjunction with turning my head, sounds simple but I see so many people forgetting to look left or right in car parks and nearly crashing into someone or something just because they rely on the camera to “See All”.
Emergency Braking – For me this is a safety aid which has saved me in the past. A car in front of me set off from lights and stopped quickly for no reason, The emergency braking kicked in and stopped my car before hitting the other car, I was assuming as there was no reason for him to stop he would have carried on so was looking around just as I started to move. Would I have noticed and stopped probably yes but felt glad I didnt have to find out.
When choosing a new car I always look for this type of safety feature, reversing camera, lane assist, emergency braking as this would make me choose one vehicle over another.
Just my grumblings, views, personal opinion.
Think I may keep my eye on this, crossing fingers it makes it on motability, but as another person said would have to see it in the flesh.
Thanks will have a look

November 18, 2019 at 12:24 am in reply to: Ford Galaxy seems to appear twice (Just wondering why) #96862Anyone know if we can look up the Motability Reference no anywhere?
Haha put in the code and it tells you specs etc now wouldn’t that be nice for the new and improved Motability Website to be able to offer and oh so simple.
Sorry not sure if this is sarcastic and you can do it already (I haven’t seen it) or a genuine reply saying it cant be done but would be good if Motability added it.
Thanks Macca, will have a look.
Sorry to hear that OscarMax.
Staffy, Staffy cross and Mastiff cross
Hi Oscarmax
I have a see through plastic dog guard from Boot Buddy but my scooter will not fit in length ways (pointing forward) unless I put the 2nd row seat flat( which means removing the dog guard) or putting the scooter width ways (pointing out side window) which takes up most of the boot, my scooter is 1m long.
If I split it down into 3 parts it goes in but still takes up so much space, I can put things on top (bags etc) but dont really want to do that in the future. Like I said previously the scooter is needed more now and so need to be able to fit it in and the 3 dogs.
