We are also getting around 200 miles on a full charge. This is using it normally in comfort mode.
I ordred my sport model on 7th August 2023 and collected on 1st March 2024. Glad I stuck to Sport as I don’t think I could wait till June / July. It’s a wonderful car and we are really enjoying it.
I’ve just had an email from my dealer who now says March collection will be fine. I’m now booked in to collect on 5th March. I did back them into a corner as I said due to having no communication or notice when to expect the car I don’t have funds available until the 1st week of March. Happy days I’ll be on a ’24’ plate now.
Mine is now on status 193 which means it’s arrived in the UK. The dealer is saying as soon as it arrives they will arrange collection. I requested that I collect in March so that it’s a ’24’ plate. But they insist they can’t store it for insurance purposes. This is very strange as I’ve had other dealers store cars in the past for 2 weeks. This is just a matter of days. It would be a shame to receive a ’73’ plate for the sake of a few days. I’ve really had a rough time with this particular dealer as I’ve had no communication and when they took my order they promised a build slot for November delivery. They also couldn’t change my order to a M-Sport.
Just had an update for my i4 and it’s now on 150. So I’m assuming it’s now being built.
Just an update on my request to change from Sport to M-Sport. It has been an eventful week. After requesting the change on 8th January my order status change from 111 to 105. It was scheduled to be built week commencing 12th February. After numerous phone calls to my dealer who couldn’t confirm whether the change was accepted by BMW on the same build slot.
It appears they may have lost my build slot, and they couldn’t give me an estimated delivery date. They turned around and said what would you like to do. Almost prompting me to cancel my order and take my business elsewhere. I was annoyed with this and stated am I being treated this way because I am a Motability customer. Luckily my original paperwork had a different order number to which I was given on the telephone. I asked BMW genius about this, and it appears this order is for a Sport, and it is scheduled to be built week commencing 05/02/2024. That order was also under my name. I then contacted the manager who confirmed that is my order number and it won’t be taken away from me. So, I am back on track with a Sport model. As I don’t have a car now, I shall remove M-Sport from my head and be happy that I am going to receive a brilliant car. My Motability order wasn’t amended so my AP is still £4999, and it was ordered in August 2023.
It still showing as sport but when I queried this with my dealer she advised they will change it as soon as my M-Sport is accepted by BMW.
That’s worrying as mine is also on 105 since Monday. I’ve mentioned to my dealer don’t change my sport to M-sport if it means I don’t get my delivery in march. As we don’t have a car at the moment.
I’ve just changed mine to M-Sport and it’s now sat at 105. I hope it changes soon with the same build date 12th February.
I have a Sport on order since August which is due for delivery in March. My dealer is also looking into whether I can use my existing build slot for the M Sport.
