I’ve just had a call from my BMW dealership to inform me that the i4 is coming on the scheme he’ll know more on Monday or Tuesday. I had an extended test drive in the active tourer schedule this morning but I’ve told him I’ll wait he’s arranged a test drive of the i4 for Tuesday so he must be in the know.

@John You won’t regret the 18s even I’ve chosen them and I’m big on spec, they look a lot sportier imo if they had the same design (non-aero) alloys in 19’s I would’ve gone for that.
@Paul Is it okay if you can upload some pictures from the rear and inside the car I would much appreciate it, and honestly the skyscraper grey looks the best in this trim esp with some limo tints, enjoy it!November 21, 2023 at 12:11 pm #249161John
@Akx thx for feedback strange they didn’t have 19s non aero as an option the 18s look identical to what’s on MSport sp they do look really good.
Wondering if any existing owners have used the Bmw app to upgrade any options yet such as the radar cruise control.

I have a suggestion to avoid going through a mix of different replies can we make a new topic for those that have now collected their new i4 like a post-collection so we can differentiate those that are in the process and still making changes and those already with the car to share images, real battery usage/range, all the specs, good and bad things etc. just an idea…
November 21, 2023 at 1:37 pm #249179Excellent idea Kai. I have started a new thread for the lucky people who have collected their i4:
December 4, 2023 at 9:42 am #250776How has everyone’s December order update gone?
unfortunately mine has been delayed. Was originally due April, now has a build week of 19/05/24 and a delivery of 25/06/24. Still on 111. Desperately want to see it move back to delivery in April.
hoping you guys have better news!
December 4, 2023 at 10:00 am #250778Just checked on mine, no change, still on order bank w/c 10-03-24. Dealer doesn’t expect any further updates from factory till nearer production time. Adam will contact me on updates.

December 4, 2023 at 2:52 pm #250803My latest update from BMW Genius is build commencing on 12/02/2024. They say this is subject to change. Lets hope it stays on that.
December 4, 2023 at 5:10 pm #250820Mine has been pushed back, i just got the email now from dealer, it was week 11 now pushed back to week 15 so second week of April. Quite annoying!
December 4, 2023 at 6:59 pm #250828@mm7 what was your original date? Mine is still build week commencing 05/2/2024. Dealer called me last week said everything is on track…
December 4, 2023 at 7:03 pm #250829my original date was 04/03/2024. I placed my order on 3rd September so this would have been 5 months but now its a whole and a week later. I guess 6 months is what i should have expected. Hopefully it doesn’t get pushed back more. If you haven’t heard anything then its good news for you @ayzee
December 5, 2023 at 7:24 am #250851A bit of hope for everyone waiting. I ordered mid August and was told delivery would be late Feb. A few weeks later I was told my date had come forward to end of Jan.
Fast forward to mid October and I was told delivery for Christmas. Dealer called today and said I can collect my car on Monday 11th as it arrived at the dealership today. I didn’t track the build but I know it was in production as of the 14th of November so I was shocked it got here so fast.
I hope others have their deliveries brought forward.
December 5, 2023 at 12:57 pm #250880So i saw a video of a black i4 with the shadowline around the windows and the silver aluminium and i have just changed my order again.
originally black with black piano interior
then i changed it to mineral white with the black piano interior
now i have changed it to the black with the aluminium interior. the black with the sun protection glass just gives the car a whole different vibe…will ceramic coat it/PPF because i know black is a pain but i think i won’t be changing again
December 5, 2023 at 2:49 pm #250892Every combo has advantages and disadvantages, just be aware the white rooflining might show a little more from the outside if black but not sure how much. I wish there were more in showrooms to actually see different specs in real life and decide properly
Im thinking of changing to white with shadow line and tinted window for the whole stormtrooper look but not sure
December 5, 2023 at 4:12 pm #250894@Ryan, I love the stormtrooper look, have it on the gran coupe, and have carried it across to the i4, this time mineral white, have opted out of the side electric blue trim, so it’s a grey trim piece, if horrible I will have it wrapped, and maybe the grille.

Let us know how you get on with the stock car you mentioned over on that other forum 😆
December 5, 2023 at 4:35 pm #250897@72dudes yes mate haha swerved it, had a sun roof and no lumbar and heated steering in just going to have to sit tight. Have officially changed the colour and interior though!

December 6, 2023 at 12:42 am #250933Thats good news for people who missed out. I hope they have a choice of few this time!

If so, presumably that’s the facelifted model? I wonder if the M-Sport will be included, as it has with the iX1.
December 6, 2023 at 8:02 am #250942@glosguy hi glos no facelift yet and it will be just the sport again but I assume the wait times will be ridiculous now and may even stretch into late next year
December 6, 2023 at 8:32 am #250949No further news on Factory update to revised model due mid July. BMW always have yearly price increase in Jan so expect uplift in AP for next quarter. Speaking to Marshalls the i4 has been very popular unlike the iX1.
Good that it is coming back on Mobility again.

In which case, new orders would surely be the facelifted model by the time they arrive?
December 6, 2023 at 10:57 am #250968So the i4 is now back on the scheme and they haven’t changed anything, a bit disappointing they keep wanting to prevent us from having the M-Sport but willingly offer it for any other BMW. This is good news but I don’t see a point if the facelift model is to release Q1 2024. The question is do we get the facelift if production starts next year or are they just trying to get rid of production stock through MB.
