My Mazda CX60 phev you can preheat
They did say it was safe after I explained the damage to them, obviously if there was other damage when it went back I assume I wouldn’t get it.
I had quite a scrape on my BMW X1 told the then insurer’s Direct Line, who said I didn’t have to have it repaired.when I handed the car back told the dealer the insurance new about the scrape and received the gab.
Mazda XC60 six months in and nearly 3k milesto be honest we;re quite disappointed with Mazda’s so called flag ship as I see it brought out, unproven. Our’s has been in for 2 urgent DVLA recalls one of which took 3 hours with me in the showroom and after 2 and a half hours was offered a drink can’t compare that to BMW service department (previous car X1)
The good, love the car especially the colour Soul Red Crystal and it;s a head turner I was sat in Tesco’s car park chap really gave it the once over and I was still sat in it quite odd,
Entertainment is very good with wireless apple car play and Bose speakers.
The headup display is better than my BMW was,it’s almost twice the size.
Acceleration is rapid as you would expect with 323hp and AWD. Boot size is very good with 570 litres
The bad: The 39 mile electric range is a joke I’ve only ever managed 2.3 miles kwh
hopefully it will improve with the weather, fingers crossed.
In EV mode, the car is a little slow to pull away, while you can hear too much noise from the electric motors, and every so often there’ll be a pronounced lurch or thump from the transmission. Mazda’s premium rivals are streets ahead in this respect. .(taken from auto express) but very true, Seats we find ok if a little bit high getting in and out. The biggest problem though is the suspension I’d liken it to 1960s Land Rover leaf springs brilliant on smooth surface but not many left in this country!
So to sum up if you’ve any loose dentures or fillings I‘d steer clear of the CX60
If BMW X1 2.0 litre petrol comes back on I will return this and pay the £250 with pleasure
Yes sorry CX60
If anyone was intrersted I’ve had a BMW X1 loads of extras for 5 years 28,000 miles asked Motability for a price to buy was quoted £19,700 which is mid retail price! Probably worth £15k trade.
Ordered Mazda Exclusive Line on 29th June 2023 changed to Homuro Convenience with pan roof 3rd July when they were added, delivery for 19th September which i thought was optimistic but could have it this Saturday but she who must be obeyed wants the new reg so 4th September must have pinched it from another dealer. (Soul Red Crystal)
Here in the Southwest pigeons have taken to building nests under Solar panels and they can have 2 or 3 broods per year. So might be worth proofing them while the scaffolding is up? Newer panels might not be so protruding as ours but just be aware I’ve had quotes of £600 for the job re scaffolding health and safety etc managed to get them done for £320 off a ladder
Wow Google slow like me then thought the list had grown
Sorry hopefully link added

Jerry you have run flat tyres so when you get a puncture you drive to the nearest Kwik fit but only upto 50 mph
What about the manufactures taking over? Then if they have a few models not selling which are over the budget limit they could off load them like they did with the XC60 Galaxy etc
Discuss 😉
I’ve gone from Titanium X petrol to the BMW X1 xline While the Kuga has the best driving position of any car I’ve owned the engine and gearbox lets it down bigtime (new torque converter @ 2 years) The BMW box is smoother than a she mouse’s under carriage 🙂 As for Ford saying it’s 182bhp the old type g/box sucks the power from the engine. The BM takes some getting used to when you release the throttle it freewheels so you need to allow for this when going up to junctions etc. The car previous to the Kuga was a C-Max and we bought a Ford boot liner and this fitted all 3 cars only just in the BM.
