I will be parking about 2 feet from my charger. I’m tempted to purchase a 2 metre charging cable to make my life easier (I have untethered).
My change over date is 30th April and I ordered on 30th January. My car was in stock when I ordered it (in fact I got to sit in it and take a few pics) and is patiently waiting for me until the end of April.
Frustrating but Motability have said no to an early collection. I terminated a car just over three years ago as unsuitable/needs changed and in reality do not want another one on my account so not willing to push and go down that route.
For those with diesel cars the dealers will also add Adblue as part of contract.
Someone posted on here recently that has stopped but I messaged Motability last week and they confirmed it is still included and I got mine topped up for free.
Interestingly my installer said he was regularly assigned 3 jobs a day but only ever completed 2 as “If you do it properly it is very difficult to complete 3 without cutting corners”.
I got a 5m cable delivered a week before install. Didn’t even realise they supplied one. Expected to just have the one that will come with the car (I have untethered).
So I emailed Mr Miller this morning.
At 2pm I received a call from a very nice Account Manager.
She is going to contact OHME and ask them to justify the high cost for raising two slabs and digging a trench into the earth underneath.
Apparently I need a trench if I want the cable to go under two paving slabs at my front door. It’s about two feet. The total cable run is 6m. Quote – £754! It’s going over the front door instead.
It would appear 44 new cars have been added. Hopefully some good news for folks waiting on certain cars being added, and hoping I’m not left with a will i cancel AGAIN dilemma
Not just me who checks daily then! Even though I just ordered my new car……
I’ve recently tested the Enyaq (a few hours) and Ioniq 5 (half a day) both unaccompanied so this is dealer specific.
I have always been lucky and received good service. As I said on another thread, I am due to pick my car up end of April and my dealer this time around are holding a car that came into stock for me the week I ordered. Extraordinary and have felt like any other customer.
Thank you very much!
It would have been my first choice anyway so I got very lucky.
Great to hear of other Hyundai dealers giving excellent service too.
I really like the look of this and I think it knocks spots off the Enyaq and would have been a serious contender had I not already ordered my Ioniq 5.
Decent spec (GT) too!
Thanks.
Ecotronic Grey.
Didn’t realise the interior is now part (black) leather which was a nice bonus too!Had one for half a day – 4/5 hours but that was a second drive and as MS7 says, it is dealer specific.
Personally I was torn between the Enyaq and Ioniq 5.
I had two test drives in each and in the end have opted for the Ioniq.
I appreciate it is marmite but I love the looks both in and out. It also felt more comfortable for me and the charging speed was a factor as I do a few long journeys here and there.
I also found the workings of the car, particularly the speed limiter and ACC easier to use on the Ioniq too. I hated the location of this on the Enyaq and kept hitting the indicator.
That said, I fully accept the Enyaq is a great motor and incredible value on the scheme and wish all getting one happy motoring.
Just had our survey too via video call. Only a 5 year old house and very short run from charger to outside meter so standard fit by the looks of it. Hope the installation goes as smoothly as the survey. Bang on time and very efficient. So far so good……..
I ordered a car this week and asked if the AP goes down on 1st April can I cancel/reorder to get the lower amount. I got a very flat no, that is not something they can do. It would have to be a significant reduction for me to cancel and start again elsewhere in fairness. (Note this was at Hyundai not Skoda but still relevant).
Just heard from my dealer.
He states he has processed four orders for 85s over the last two days so as far as he is concerned they are still available.
Seems very odd, hopefully all will be resolved this week!
Unless I’m looking at it wrongly, it looks like all 85s have been removed!
Very odd……
I am taking an 80 out tomorrow on a test drive, ironically straight after an Ioniq 5 which is my other preferred option. I have been told the seats in the 80 will be the same as an 85 Edition and they have a Sportline Kodiaq in that I can have a sit/play in that will have the same seats as an 85X Sportline.
Have to say, so far both sales people I am dealing with have been excellent. Attentive and very knowledgeable.
I think most companies will pay if you’re unlucky enough for it to happen when not in the car.
My question was more if you cause it by driving through floodwater.
Most (if not all) insurers will understandably refuse to pay out as it’s “avoidable”
Do you know this is a ‘fact’ or are you making an assumption?
If you read most T&Cs it is fact (hence my use of the word avoidable, a direct quote from some I looked at).
I fully expected it not to be covered but just wondered how they would go about claiming the cost of the vehicle from a customer.
Good thing about my Kuga is it just screams at me now and then but not actually had it do an emergency brake yet!
Anyone know the difference please between the top two Sportline Plus models at £2499 and £2699?
