Hi
Any
advice Please Ordered the Megan Etec Iconic and was told at the time of ordering that the only free paint option was white so I went ahead and ordered that
Having read the above posts it seems clear that others are not only able to choose a single colour of choice
Are others getting 2 tone for free as well?
I will be contacting my dealer but thought I would get your take on available options that are open to me
Any advice appreciated
cheers

Suspect if it had been it would be missing the full EU Spec
Seems Renault is now in good hands and moving forward quickly imo
Very nice
Laura
Wishing you all miles of enjoyment and fun
My soon to be £42,000 top spec Megan E Tec Iconic at £1295 with all the toys+ is one to consider imo

Kettle on next time lol
And remember the car will go 16 more miles than indicated but rather you than me in putting this to the test
It has been done tho
bon voyage
My thinking was that B roads will be slower and offer more regenrative opportunities
Will need to test this our
Well done for fighting your corner
Looking forward to your update
I assume long journeys in a EV would have a better range if motorways were ignored when possible
Although the journey may be longer the cars range may well be extended
I suppose this will also depend on the particular journey undertaken
Thoughts?
Same
Was told white paint single colour is free others extra
This ties in with Renault build your vehicle web site
Just to add a link of youtube How to vids whilst here for anyone getting the E Megan

Untethered will look better than having a 7.5 m cable permantly hanging from the wall imo
Pulling the cable from the boot even if its weekly is quite easy for me to do plus I will be handling a clean dry cable
Although I can see and appreciate why a tethered set up may well benefit others
I was being conservative in my consumption estimates as the cars mileage will equates to just 15/18 miles of urban driving a day.
My tarriff is standard so will just keep the official 280 range ( realistic 200 avg ) topped up as and when
These are the specs for Megan E Tec Iconic trim ( same as the UK 1st edition spec) as listed now on Renault main web page

Just to note
I think the 3 pin home charger lead is an extra/option
hopefully I am wrong
Started off wanting the E-power Qashqai
Latest £800 AP increase put paid to that
Went onto ordering the Puma 155 bhp although top of the range did not have a reverse camera/blind spot monitoring as standard
This all went out of the window once Renault slashed its AP to £1295 for the top of the range Iconic Megane Etech EV ( heat pump/Harmon Kardon 9 speaker
3D Camera/Google services/20″ Alloys/smart rear view mirror/Gold F1 blade
chose the free glazier white paint
Present end of lease is July so told factory order could be up to 6 months (suspect 3/4 months but not too bothered
£42000 car retail
less £750 new lease /£250 gcb leaves me with a AP of £295
Puma cancelled this morning( Ford dealer single click on the computer )
Reordered the Megane Etech EV this afternooon and comes fully charged with potential 280 miles of charge
I think it will be a long time before we see another huge AP reduction like this
Think this first came on the scheme at just under £6000 please correct me if wrong
The question asked indicates that before going forward further expert advice is needed and should be sought
Well written/supported appeal is paramount
And as others have already stated the whole award can be open to review
Enjoy
Please put up some pics when delivered and follow up reviews would be appreciated by all I’m sure

On a positive note you have not only shown that you were prepared to go to tribunal but you also went onto win by doing so.
The fact you won will put you in good stead
Been there many a time ( many years) and a word to the wise for those looking at this reply
Seek expert advice where available
( CAB is no longer neutral as its paid I think 25 Million by the DWP to help with applications but imo dont bother if seeking help with a tribunal or anything that challenges the DWP decisions
look elsewhere imo as found that they were never up to speed in the first place
I found that requesting a Free DWP&GP subject access requests ( DWP can be done online GP request will need to be done in writing ) can reveal some surprising details than can be useful when going forward.
This can take up to 40 days
Just answer all Q fully using as few words as needed this will ensure that nothing is left open to misinterpretation
In the absence of a full and complete answer the reader WILL use their own interpretation of things which often differs from the one intended
Treat a renewal as if it was your original application
Use as much supporting evidence as possible
Using the correct descriptive words in as condensed a way as possible can only help in getting things across.
All advice given has served me well
I do not profess to be a professional and please feel free to ignore and do your own thing
Seek expert advice where available
Just to add if you want front parking sensors as standard as I do then you have to choose the Vignale

Was a question to Kezo
Are you saying the Puma has a CVT?
April 9, 2023 at 11:02 am in reply to: After Nissans latest £800 AP increase I have now ordered #218336CVT?
On a positive note depending how you look at things
My theory
Car manufactures today fit tyres to maximise fuel efficiency rather than maximising the cars drive quality
I suspect that when people leave Kwik Fit with new tyres fitted to their E Konas (just as an example) they may well find that the new equivalent fitted tyres may not be as economical as before
But find that drive quality and tyre wear is greatly improved
We will have to wait and hear from owners if this is indeed the case

New 2024 Ford Puma EV: powertrain and technical details
Ford will enter the all-electric small SUV space with an electrified PumaFord is about to expand it’s all-electric range of cars with a new Puma EV. The regular internal combustion engined Puma will continue as the firm’s smallest model, following the Fiesta being cut from the lineup in 2023 and a pure-electric variant should help broaden its appeal.
Best to call out the RAC as there is always the option of having a temp wheel and tyre to use till yours is returned and been repaired
Never book Kwik Fit mobile as can take 6 days
Rac every time imo
