Hello fellow Skodians. I hought I would start this thread, as there seems to be quite a few either taken ownership, placed orders or just thinking about getting the best ev out there.
So, any questions that someone may be able to answer, any good or bad dealings with dealers, specs wanted or received, perhaps someone could help others in their quest

Does anyone know what you do to stay “logged in” to the Skoda App,my phone used to stay logged in but last few days everytime i want to use the app i am asked to log in.
November 23, 2024 at 7:56 am #293840Dunno about ios but on android try clearing the cache and data then login again.
Long press the app icon in the app drawer then press the i button, this opens the apps info at the bottom right is clear data tap that then all data. Now reopen the app login and try again
November 23, 2024 at 11:35 am #293850Hi all
I had a question around the app / car programmed times for the car to warm up. I currently have it set for two times of the day that it warms up for when I need.
There’s usually 4/5 regular journeys I make so need to add more schedules but don’t see an option on the car or the app to do so? Am I missing something or doing something wrong?
November 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm #293855I dont think I,ve seen multiple schedules, and the “time of departure” schedule seems not very intuitive.
Maybe in future updates it may be added.
I dont think you are doing anything wrong and maybe I am wrong who knows. Maybe someone has cracked the multi program nugget.
Oops sry its the Enyaq story, my sausage fingers and phone screen has managed to jump articles again…
November 23, 2024 at 2:15 pm #293857Ordered the 85X Sportline Coupe today in black. Will be approx six months on the waiting list but they will let me know if they get any cancelled orders in the meantime. Still have our 71 plate IV60 until the new one arrives and then I’ll put the IV60 up for sale.

November 23, 2024 at 3:03 pm #293862As far as I can tell you can only set 2 times and repeat them over numerous days. Might be worth emailing the app creators and ask they’re pretty good at replying.
As for setting the cabin 10 mins before leaving yes that works for comfort of course and for one off trips it’s fine but regularly leave the house like me Monday to Thursday at 7am to take my son to the college bus its just so easy plus the departure time also preheats the battery which turning climate control on doesn’t do (I think).
Anyway no right or wrong everyone just uses whatever feature suits and when. I have noticed using departure time that even in the cold weather we just had my economy was still 3mi/kwh

Nice the black is stunning I got the estate and I changed the bonnet badge to black too looks amazing
November 23, 2024 at 3:11 pm #293865I like it in black @Rich44, it would be my second choice, it was a tough call.
Skoda Enyaq Race Blue
November 23, 2024 at 3:19 pm #293868Our first choice is black and closely followed by race blue. I’ve told them I’ll accept a cancelled order of either.
The glass roof swung it for us on the Coupe. We’ve had the estate for three years and felt the Coupe would be a nice change. Plus the extra range and power over our IV60!

November 23, 2024 at 4:52 pm #293874Thanks for all the responses! I just had an error message come up on my enyaq:
Error: Drive System
Please visit workshop
I’m hoping it’s nothing major… But better get it booked in I guess
November 23, 2024 at 4:55 pm #293875Ive had that message once. It cleared itself by the next day but my dealer telephoned me to say it had flagged it with them. I explained it was no longer there so we agreed not for it to visit the workshop. It hasn’t happened since. I think it was just a glitch. You may find the same.

I’m hoping it disappears!

Its probably flagging a fault as one side is slipping more than the other in snowy conditions.
Sometimes the cars can be too smart for themselves. It probably wont show again and be fixed in a future update.
First bit of snow an am out there to have a play..lol..
November 23, 2024 at 7:22 pm #293889how does the coupe/estate drive in the snow ??
November 23, 2024 at 8:30 pm #293893how does the coupe/estate drive in the snow ??
We have the 2 wheel drive estate and it was good, I think the weight of the car, 2 tons and the 19 inch wheels give it plenty of traction,
November 23, 2024 at 8:40 pm #293894Generally with car errors I adopt the PC approach, turn it off and on. If the error goes away file it away if it comes back later.
Imho the biggest problem with cars these days CANBUS it wasn’t really designed for dozens of modules loads of traffic it’s part of the reason for so many spurious errors you get randomly etc. It’s high time car designers got together and came up with a good solid standard with encrypted traffic, parity to ensure data integrity etc. That’d avoid the whole one module goes bad and wipes out the whole network
November 23, 2024 at 9:52 pm #293899Getting more peed off with this now!
Went to set pre-heating and App, even though not saying “locked out for battery protection” would not connect.
Says last status/connection was Wednesday morning at 06:15 which is when it also failed and I had to go drive it backwards and forwards about 5M, App then connected. Had to do the same tonight.
Then went to put passenger seat heating on and nothing, assumed it was because there was nobody sitting in it, can’t remember is it works like that or not. Daughter arrived at station, got in and big surprise it still won’t switch on. Tried using Laura, nothing, screen comes up with “USB device not supported” when you touch the screen to set it 🙁
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
November 23, 2024 at 9:54 pm #293900It can’t be a coincidence that w have the exact same issue. We either have the same faults that affect what appear to be unrelated hardware OR is there something up with Skoda and their servers. Have they sent anything to the cars in the past week like a bug fix or something which has affected some people…. It’s just too spooky that our faults are the exact same!

Ordered 31/10/23, Delivery 27/3/24November 23, 2024 at 9:59 pm #293902I have the coupe 85x and it drove fine in traction mode in the snow today. Granted it was more like slush by time I went out. Did have some wheelspin moving off which then triggered the error message.
The error has come on each time I have got in the car today (6-7 short journeys each time)
Will call Skoda on Monday if error persists
November 24, 2024 at 1:36 am #293911how does the coupe/estate drive in the snow ??
No problem with traction in 2″ + deep snow up or down steep hills,i just selected the correct drive mode for the conditions.
November 27, 2024 at 9:48 am #294107Just went out to go to the shops, yet again no auto door opening/locking or handle sensors working.
This time I popped the bonnet and checked the 12v battery, 11.65v so pretty flat 🙁
Once the car system booted and it started getting a charge from the 400v system it went back up to around 13.7v and the doors magically opened when walked past.I’ll have to get it booked in to have it replaced and the passenger heated seat not working but apparently there’s a shortage of batteries!.

November 27, 2024 at 9:58 am #294109If you have a free day, I’d ring the RAC next time the battery drops and the doors won’t open. Never had a problem with them vhanging a battery.

Ring RAC, tell them it refused to start a couple of times. They replaced ours on our last Skoda with a higher spec one, guy said the Skoda one was carp and not up to the job.
November 27, 2024 at 11:46 am #294124Thanks, it’s booked in for next Weds, they’ve agreed to let me have another Enyaq as a courtesy car.
RAC sounds like a good idea but I also need them to sort out the passenger seat heating for my daughter when she’s in the car, she has Raynaulds and has it on even in the warmer months.

November 27, 2024 at 2:30 pm #294141Just been to pick up a used single bed for my 16 year old son and managed to fit divan base, head board, mattress all in the car with the boot shut and drive home.
Incredible, bet there’s not many EVs you could do that
