Hello fellow Skodians. I hought I would start this thread, as there seems to be quite a few either taken ownership, placed orders or just thinking about getting the best ev out there.
So, any questions that someone may be able to answer, any good or bad dealings with dealers, specs wanted or received, perhaps someone could help others in their quest

Impressions after the first day only a few miles done little short trips……effortless to drive, very smooth…oh the doors they do close with a lovely expensive sound. Question With a passenger in the car and the driver (with key) nipping out of the car into a shop for 5 mins, how do you keep the audio system working ?
I always leave the key if I leave Mrs Joe in the car as it sets the alarm off.But I think you just press the power button on the bottom left side of the infotainment display.

October 24, 2024 at 7:40 pm #292270Been on the cars longest trip today to Mansfield (Rainworth Skoda) where @Solymar got his car….from Sheffield and car averaged 3.7mKwh.I went to pick up a reversible boot (mat/carpet) got it on Ebay.
I called into Skoda at Chesterfield on my way to fix a problem that my sausage fingered other half had caused, she made the infotainment screen go off completely by pressing the on/off button for long.
Fella at the service desk sorted it by doing what he called a system reset,he pressed the on/off button for several seconds and it reboots its self.
I’m gunna have to do a first charge soon as im down to 29%.

October 30, 2024 at 1:12 pm #292585Handover at 3pm today! Nervously excited, having not driven since Christmas Day 2023, and the last vehicle being a broken amarok it’s weirdly daunting!

October 30, 2024 at 2:15 pm #292587My 85X hates the cold, 100% charge Sunday gave me 265 miles of range, and it’s not even proper Winter yet! 🙁
Did a 35 mile round trip that night, 8c outside, a mixture of 30mph local roads and 70mph dual carriageways, then a further 24 miles of local 30mph driving on Monday, it used 25.1 kWh so it’s averaging 2.35 miles per kW at the moment!
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

We’ve averaged 3.9mile per kWh over 2400 miles. Will have to wait and see what the winter brings, but it’s not the 4 wheel drive version so should be better.

That doesn’t seem right thats really low, i thought my new ioniq 5 was doing bad at 3.1 average, i dont feel too bad about it now.
Weirdly my ioniq 5 gets more miles per kwh on the motorway, i did 100 miles on 31 percent at 65mph.
But driving around B roads im driving very carefully and sticking dead on the speed limit everywhere to get 3.1 miles per kwh
October 30, 2024 at 3:53 pm #292592Got to say my 85x has been fine even in the single digit temps we’ve had it did well over 3 I’m sure it’ll be worse when it gets colder. Have you been using the pre conditioning as that helps warm the battery. I have the car set to warm up for 7am each weekday before I drop the youngest at college bus stop

i thought the preconditioning was just before a fast charge
October 30, 2024 at 4:01 pm #292594I’m averaging 3.1 to 3.6 on short runs and 3.6 to 4.1 Kwh on longer runs. I’ve got a heatpump and it’s a 85x Coupe.
I must admit, I drive in Sport mode most of the time & the Regen from both motors is really noticeable. I’d say that driving in constant AWD is more economical because of the regen.
It’s an amazing car & I’m loving it!

October 30, 2024 at 4:51 pm #292595No pre-heating, most of my journeys are quite short, 2 mile round trip to my local shops, 10 mile round trip to see my son plus a few miles to take him shopping, lots of stop start in central Durham, 19 mile round trip to see my daughter.
Durham is pretty hilly so a lot of up and down and bendy roads and traffic. On the 2 miles down hill to the local bypass it can show 5.6 and about 4 when I get to my daughters but drops on the return as it’s mainly up hill. Sat doing around 50 in traffic on the A1 I’ve seen it creep up to 8!
In the summer I was getting an average of about 3.2.
Just checked the long term average, it’s 3.2 over 4500 miles – 9 months
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
October 30, 2024 at 4:56 pm #292597If you set a departure time it heats the car and the battery to avoid poor cold performance. I use this when leaving weekdays early.
If its hilly I guess that could explain 3.2 my average on 99% short journeys is 4.1 on long term just over 4000 miles
October 30, 2024 at 7:10 pm #292605Well this is some car!
first question, got 4g and a world up in the top corner of the screen, but can’t connect and has no signal bars – case of fuse 19 to trick it into a restart?

November 8, 2024 at 3:37 pm #292998hi, I’m new to this site but have viewed it many times. i am interested in the Skoda Enyaq Coupe sportline plus, but my question is has the L&K spec ever been on the scheme? and if anyone can remember what the AP was roughly.
November 8, 2024 at 8:18 pm #293047My long term is showing 2.7m kwh average speed 14mph,its just over 300miles in total since i got it.
Very short urban traffic infested journeys of 2 miles , 50% up very steep hills and 50% coming back down very steep hills.
I’ll be doing a charge tonite of about 30% back upto 80%
I dont miss going to the fuel station one little bit.
November 8, 2024 at 11:01 pm #293051@eckst3 The L&K was only released recently, it’s never been on the scheme so no previous AP.
I would assume, if it comes onto the scheme at all, that the AP will be a fair jump up from the current 85X Sportline Plus Coupe due to it’s increased retail price, the 85X is listed at £50,305, the L&K is almost £3000 more at £53,240.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
