Hello fellow Skodians. I hought I would start this thread, as there seems to be quite a few either taken ownership, placed orders or just thinking about getting the best ev out there.
So, any questions that someone may be able to answer, any good or bad dealings with dealers, specs wanted or received, perhaps someone could help others in their quest

OlpkThe sportline plus will be 85x as standard.
The press release states it will be at no cost over the rear drive model.

Speedy JamesThanks I see your point and believe you are right but at the moment on the scheme it’s additional AP for the X variant. Maybe this will all change next quarter
October 21, 2023 at 11:12 am #239435Hi all just had confirmation from my dealer that my 80x order (ordered2ndoct) is now saying 85x my24. He said All 80 orders have simply moved across to be 85. Hope this helps……
@Paul do you have a guesstimate on delivery times yet?"Come on BYD Seal!"October 22, 2023 at 1:22 pm #239585An interesting video if you want to see how the Enyaq is bolted together.
October 22, 2023 at 3:14 pm #239599I’m not 100% sure but I got the impression from a couple of sources that the 85x is Sportline Plus only, not that the Sportline Plus is 85x only so I THINK we can still get an 85 Sportline but not an 85x standard – hope that makes sense – brain is a little foggy this afternoon….

October 22, 2023 at 4:21 pm #239615From the Škoda press release 11/10
All-wheel drive is now offered as standard on the SportLine Plus trim, at no premium over the previous rear-wheel drive model, from £48,605 OTR.
So I would take it that the sport line plus in either estate or coupe will be 4×4 as standard, which are both on Motability as 2 wheel drive, at the same price, but I think it’s all very confusing, even our dealer isn’t sure!

October 22, 2023 at 4:38 pm #239617I personally hope not – previously had a Volvo AWD and never needed it over the 2wd vehicles I’ve always had and I kinda liked the idea of the very tight turning circle of the RWD car.

I’m not sure on the Enyak but, I guess as with Hyundai AWD EV’s, AWD is selectable on or off with a rear wheel bias

Speedy JamesI think we might have to wait until the next quarter prices until everything becomes clear – hopefully I am wrong!
October 23, 2023 at 7:35 am #239666
OlpkThere is no need to speculate anymore and it’s clear from the horse’s mouth ,Skoda themselves.
Sportline and VRS trims are 4×4 “as standard”.
It’s the last paragraph of the press release before the price list.

ShaunDo we know if that includes the coupe as well?
October 23, 2023 at 1:12 pm #239701
Speedy JamesWhat I mean to clear is will have to wait and see what Skoda and Motability offer in the next quarter (this is when I can order my next vehicle)

Ian DurantOctober 23, 2023 at 5:36 pm #239744Do we know if that includes the coupe as well?
@Shaun, The Coupe has no rear wiper as standard.
I think he’s asking if it will be 4 wheel drive as standard.
October 23, 2023 at 6:08 pm #239746From the ŠKODA blurb I think so, as it states starting from £48+, the coupe is £51+ and vrs £53+, but again it’s all very vague at the moment.
Has anyone found out if their sport line plus 80 has been change to 85x?

October 23, 2023 at 6:16 pm #239748If 4 wheel drive becomes standard on the Sportline Plus Coupe, I would definitely be interested.
October 23, 2023 at 8:15 pm #239762Strangely it does have a rear wiper (Coupe)- but I think only on VRS models. I find that an odd decision by Skoda who seem to be saying with this decision that the wiper is either sporty and/or luxary! I would argue its essential!
October 24, 2023 at 12:16 am #239771
Ian Durant@ RobJS yes the Enyaq VRS coupe has the rear wiper as standard but its part of a £2k option pack on all others
October 24, 2023 at 12:17 am #239769
Ian Durant@Elliot, yes that’s been clarified already, but he might not know about the rear wiper not standard
October 24, 2023 at 9:31 am #239795
ShaunSorry folks, not been back on since I asked. I was asking about the 4×4 but, no, I didn’t know about the rear wiper either. Such a little thing, but I certainly miss it when it’s not there. I’ll keep it in mind. Cheers
October 27, 2023 at 1:31 pm #24025885X Sportline plus is now orderable on Skoda UK. No 80 Sportline plus anymore. Only 80 edition.
October 27, 2023 at 2:36 pm #240273Lets hope Motability update their site soon too with the MY24 specs, like they did with the Audi Q4. I’m hoping to order the 85x in November.
October 27, 2023 at 4:01 pm #240287A bit disappointed to see the Sportline plus is only in 4×4 now, not 4×2 as well.

Is that confirmed? The Škoda press release says the 80 becomes the 85 and the 80x the 85x. That suggests there’s still a RWD offering.
