Thanks for the info @Stuart. I was speaking to my dealer this weekend one of his retail customers decided not to buy an Ioniq 6 due to he could not get all his golf gear in the boot, looking at your photo’s the boot is a fair size, all I can think he must have a family of golfers.
He must have all the gear and no idea lol, the boot really is huge just a narrow-ish mouth opening

----------------------------The rear wiper really isn’t an issue, it literally threw it down yesterday the rake of the window means it just flows off when stationary and the wind because of its streamlined shape just clears the screen in seconds. I test drove both and like you fancied a change and I’m glad I went for the 6, seen hundreds of 5’s but still not seen a 6 yet lol.

----------------------------Very rapid indeed, especially in sport mode. Handles it better than the Soul did with it been rear wheel drive, the Soul just used to wheel spin all the time but this is very planted when it goes.

----------------------------Loads of space, really deceiving. We can get 3 large boxes in for the shopping with bags of room to spare and the wifes wheelchair fits in fine. Goes back a very long way and the boot lid opens vertically so no banging of your nut when loading the shopping. The frunk is also large, holds my 5m Ohme cable, the 3m one that came with the car and the granny charger plus books and wheel nut keys etc with room to spare.

----------------------------If your not ready to go full electric yet then i would seriously consider the Renault Austral, one of the nicest cars on the scheme in my opinion and was top of my list at one point but as i prefer full electric i went for the Hyundai Ioniq 6. The Renault both inside and outside is a stunning looking car, i would seriously recommend you test drive one.

----------------------------Just had some great news, the car is ready at the dealers and im collecting it Saturday at 1pm. Been a long long wait but i cannot wait to get it now. Hope all those waiting wont be far behind.

----------------------------Octopus intelligent Go is the best tariff, once you link up your Ohme charger to the app you can plug in at any time of the day. The app will stop your charge after a few seconds and issue you with a schedule of times it will charge your car, this will all be charged at the cheap overnight tariff. Best thing is if you make a note of the schedules your whole house is also charged at the cheap rate so stick your dishwashers and dryers on at the same time to take full advantage.

----------------------------Sadly as its not available in the UK until winter if it does appear on the scheme will more than likely be next year so for now im sticking with my Ioniq 6 order. I really do think the tweeks that they have made now make it a more desirable option.

----------------------------I was all set for cancelling my Ioniq 6 and going for one of these until i found out you cannot change the seat colours on the top range iconic. Thought those grey cloth seats looked really cheap and let the interior down, much prefer the black in the Alpine but then you loose out on the pano roof. Looks like im sticking with my order then, shame because it looks a brilliant car on paper.

----------------------------@stuart. Sorry to hear your motor wasn’t on Morning Peace when it docked at Tilbury. The next ship leaves Ulsan on the 27th of Feb and arrives at Tilbury on the 6th of April. Fingers crossed it’ll be on that on.

----------------------------Where would i fond the 1011 code ? there is nothing resembling that on my order sheet.
All i got was the order sheet from Evens Halshaw, that has an order number on it but its not 1011 and my order states the model correctly but like yours it does not state a trim colour. They keep telling me its built but waiting shipping but personally i think they are been economical with the truth.
