As already mentioned the rise in ev phev prices are a bit baffling,i was thinking prices offers would on the whole, would come down to entice renewals and new customers before the july changes, but far from it this window is like the beginning of the end of what motorbility was and what we all gained from it.I ordered the xc40 pro plus with sound system upgrade for £2800 on march the 30th.Its now risen by £750 so personally not to bad but im already thinking the future doesn’t look good.
Thanks
does the website with new prices get updated from midnight or after 9am?
I wonder if people who decide to end lease before july 1st due to car not fit for purpose mechanically or health reasons etc,but still wish to remain on the scheme, will be met with more hurdles .For example someone who has a few months left on present lease, the next car will fall under the new rules and limits, however if changed before 1st july they would have present terms for 3 years.
Ah ok thanks
Why does it mention 50,000 per 5year lease?thought extentions had stopped
Q3 is back om scheme as of today.
Every car ive had on motorbility since 2001, i test drive before order and really test drive on collection day, which to me is far more important due to that being the car i will have for 3years.Surpsies me that people test drive then order ,then look round it on collection day but dontt re test drive it.
February 12, 2025 at 10:22 pm in reply to: Here we go again (anyone remember the Richard Littlejohn article)? #297609Was me who posted the video Glos Guy.No explanation why it was deleted though?
Subject was related to motorbility so a little baffled why deleted, especially the amount of non related threads/subjects that are allowed .So i wont repost here, as it’s yoir thread and may be deleted again.😀
Does the PHEV Tucsom start in ev mode on start up?I know most phevs do and always have some battery % saved even when it says empty, was just wandering when the battery is out of charge and empty does it then revert to petrol on start up ?
Handed my volvo xc60 back in 2020,i did want to buy it at the end of the lease, but motorbility price was too much.So when it went through BCA auction in walsall 2months later at 4k less than what what motorbility were asking me to pay,i was gutted to say the least.,as well as baffled as the price i would of paid for it,was more than the auction price.
I notice on some posts rhat people mentiom extending current lease.I thought the 2 year extension option is now not available?
Very surprised no early AP prices released yet..Wander which car/price will flood the message board with numerous discussions, always 1 at least.
The main thing i do om collection /handover is insist of 1more test drive before commiting,i really dont get why people turn up look the car over and sign without driving it.As it is literally the car you will have not the test/viewing car .
Aug 2022 i picked my sportage up..Have the bmw i4 .Do miss the blind spot camera on the kia and the 360 camera too which IMO is better than the i4 360 cam.Such a shame i had so many issues.I really hope you just have this one issue micky because they are great cars,i guess i was a little unlucky..
f
First 11 months of my sportage went into garage 4 times,2x airflow sensor issues and 1x oxygen sensor.final straw was sunroof leak(mine was the ‘4’ trim before they removed it.)Totally ruins enjoyment of car and every journey waiting for warnings to reappear. If my kia dealer was decent i would of kept it, but delays for parts customer service being ignored and fobbed off became to stressful,to the point i had enough and ended lease early..The car for the money and tech included is great, but with constant faults and issues just ruined it for me.
If we had a thread per carmaker ,then within each one all convo relatimg to that particular car maker only.,to me would tidy things up a little .
Thanks
What dealers gave the umbrella?be shocked if it was synther(where i got my i4).Who would not budge on anything, when i mentioned mats they were pleased to say ‘yes’ but thats because they come with car anyhow?
Hi @72 dudes.yeh same tyres here is lower pressure bettrr for comfort ?
Those who already have a i4 sport 35 with 18inch know correct tyre pressure?Door sill sticker says 38 my car app says 34 and online tyre pressure checks saying 36 lol..
APs dictate peoples choices more than ever now, also fast approching where ‘range’ of cars will dictate choices over practicality ,comfort, driving fun etc.
