I’m sure all of you who have one on order, have been eagerly waiting (as of I) for Q1 24 to see what will be updated… and now the msport is available! (With 3 different packs too).
now the question on my head. If we want to switch to the msport model with the dealer, will they have to raise a whole new order with the factory, or will they be able to trim msport with the original factory slot?

Very nice indeed. I must check the lights setting in mine tomorrow, I’ve only driven once in the dark so far and got flashed 4 times, they seemed very bright. You won’t have that problem with laser lights
I saw a YouTube video on the light settings of a uk car, apparently you can have them set to oncoming vehicles on either the right or left sides and some vehicles are set to the lhd setting.

Hi Pauld,
According to the Live Vehicle display on the dash, the recommended tyre pressures are 2.5 bar (36 psi)
Mine were set to 2.7 bar (39 psi) on collection and I found the ride a bit jiggly, so I’m now running at 2.4 (35)
I might even drop them to 33 unless I’m going on the motorway or laden up!
What tyres is yours fitted with? Mine has Pirelli P Zeros, which are not known for comfort, would have preferred Michelins

Yes, generally. But of course the lower the pressure, the greater the drag, the worse the economy i.e. range, so it’s finding the sweet spot between comfort and not being too far from the recommended pressures.

March 27, 2024 at 7:08 pm #270115If you open the boot it’s at the bottom of the cubbyhole on the left, the plastic at the bottom lifts up and the locking nut tool and bar for towing are underneath. It was quite a search

March 28, 2024 at 6:08 pm #270260I don’t know about you guys but the real world range on the e35 isn’t good nor bad, I do think the e40 would’ve been nicer with probably 30-40 more miles which does make a difference. If you want to push the car and enjoy it on sport at 80% my range dropped down to 150 miles. Having a combination of eco and sport mode it’ll be more like 200 miles at 100%, and 170 miles at 80%.
I’ve tried but I can’t even average 3mi/kwh even with AC off then again I have only had the car a week or so. Does this change and how do I get a better mi/kwh without needing to drive 20mph all the time.
March 28, 2024 at 8:22 pm #270284@AKX honestly I think enjoying the car > preserving range. Unless you’re on a road trip.
Your build is absolutely beautiful. How does the power delivery feel? Does it ever feel like it’s lacking power? 0-60? I would have preferred the e40 for the 70 or so extra horsepower but wondering if this feels fun/enjoyable enough
March 28, 2024 at 9:08 pm #270288Could the range be influenced by the tyres you have hence why your range is lower compared to others? although there have been some sport users With larger tyres.
The range on the motability site shows less with m sport and even less with the m sport pro pack compared to sport.

My average is running at 3.5 miles/kWh but I saw 4.4 on a cross country journey on good A roads on a 120 mile round trip.
Range will get better as the temperature rises but 200 miles sounds about right for winter.
My tip: Set your display to show trip data on the screen in front of you (steering wheel button, content, scroll through the options and select)
This gives you an instantaneous “consumption” figure as well as this trip since factory, since last charge etc.
See how quickly the instantaneous consumption drops as you gently feather the throttle without losing speed. You’ll be amazed how you can get the reading way above your average figure. I’m an advanced driver so I’ve been doing this with ICE cars for a long time.
Alternatively, don’t worry about it and just have fun and recharge ?

2017 - Audi Q3 TFSi Sport S-TronicMarch 29, 2024 at 1:14 pm #270336I just typed up a whole 3 paragraphs of my experience and it didn’t submit… but to summarise:
@Ryan The power delivery is really good, the wheels don’t spin much and performs it’s best on a smooth surface you feel the power the most when rolling at around 20mph then pushing full throttle (sport mode), it handles well in the rain when you’re turning through corners it doesn’t slip out too much where you don’t feel control of the car and it’s fun. The tyres from factory are hankook and they’re horrible in terms of aiding the cars performance, I would definitely change them to Pilot Sport 4s, it’ll help with 0-60 times as well as gripping the road although I haven’t measured the exact times yet, feels about 5.5-6s. I’m a car guy so it would’ve been nice to have the extra power and range on the e40 but I’m not complaining because you’re still faster than the average car on the road with the instant torque. The inside gives you that top luxury feeling esp. on the M Sport Pro model with the small details and the exterior makes everyone’s head turn when driving by, I realised you don’t even need sound when it looks the way it does and you got power to back it.
April 3, 2024 at 1:16 am #270970Hi,
I had a slight issue and wanted to hear someone else’s opinion on it please.
i had originally ordered in I4 Msport with tech pack. Eventually, I ended up changing to Msport with pro pack & HK as an optional extra. I had signed all the forms with the correct AP and the dealer called to confirm the changes have been made. I also spoke to BMW genius and requested spec list and the change had been confirmed with them as well… all except Motability – who still show tech pack as the ordered vehicle. I was worried and quite anxious about this as I want everything to go smoothly, so I contacted the dealer to let them know the Motability order is still showing up as tech pack as the car package. They replied to reassure me saying – ‘do not worry, it has been changed’. The vehicles are now off Motability and the site does not show the updated pro pack as my ordered car. Do you think this will pose an issue when paying my AP? As the pro pack is considerably more expensive than the tech pack and it seems Motab haven’t agreed to paying it from my end… but I contacted the dealer – they seem confident it’s sorted and told me not to worry, what more can I do I guess
