The remote start warms the interior by starting the engine.
I wouldn’t worry too much. My experience of being a MB customer for 24 years is that they’ll want to deal with you as quickly as possible since you’re not that important to them. They used to need evidence of a qualifying award but that’s done online now via your MB account. Just bring your driving licence(s) and you’ll be out the door before you know it.
Well personally

Wow you did well to notice that! I’ve never looked close enough to spot anything so tiny. TBH it seems pretty trivial, I wouldn’t waste the time and effort arguing with the dealer . It’s a great car, just enjoy it 😊
Ah black, the same as us! It’s a fantastic car, we’ve had ours for just over three weeks and love it!
😉.

Doesn’t need support from the public it’s about those with an interest doing so. The public largely don’t fill in any of these things unless it affects them. I think you over estimate that people actually care either way. Before I needed it i never really gave it much thought
You misunderstand me. Politicians will do what they think they can get away with. I’m just not expecting much of an outcry when Motability gets scrapped. It’s an easy win for Labour who’ll claim they’re merely providing more ‘focused’ help for PWDs.
Unfortunately, PIP, as a non-means tested benefit is unpopular with the public. Although I have a very obvious physical disability, I tell the nosey neighbours that I have a “lease” when a shiny new car appears on the drive every three years. I never tell anyone I get PIP as I really don’t trust people. I hear a lot of negative comments about ‘free cars’ all the time. Politicians know this and getting rid of PIP/Motability is low hanging fruit. I’ve just renewed my MB contract and won’t be surprised if it’s my last. The one caveat is that they may go after the non-physical disabilities first as ‘one legged man left with no car’ doesnt sound great I suppose. I’ll sign the consultation doc but I really don’t expect it to get a whole lot of support from the public.
Impressive, just handed back a T Roc DSG, nothing like as good!
Gas guzzlers not a problem. Used to them having land rovers all my life. However can’t see many people cancelling and going for the B4 without a trim level change. Unless they want to save £1k
Not concerned about the environmental impact?
Earlier this week (Tuesday) my dealer called to let me know my car was there and when would I like to collect it 🤔 I jokingly said July in case the deposit goes down but I’d happily get it anytime as soon as the hand controls are fitted. The garage contacted the installer and they won’t be installed until next week at the earliest, so that’s us into July and the next quarter. Today they’ve sent me an email requesting payment of the deposit… they are definitely having a laugh if they think I’m gony send them nearly £3k today when the prices could drop on Monday 🤔 😂😂😂 I know they probably won’t fall but I can live in hope over the weekend 🤞😁
Hey just collected by 8th MB car and I have never ever paid a penny before driving out of the dealer’s forecourt. Tell them to do one 😉
Picked up our XC40 today less than three months after ordering. Great car, great service. Zero complaints! Well done Volvo, well done Motability (as always)!

Hi there, new to this forum but not to MB. I’ve been following this thread with interest as I ordered an XC40 in April.
I’m going to pick up the car tomorrow. This will be my 8th MB car and apart from the odd hiccup, I can’t really fault the scheme.
Absolutely. Picking my 8th Motability car tomorrow and I’ve never paid a penny in advance.
